Jacob arrived promptly. We live in an older home and have a cast iron pipe that runs to the main drain area in the court. We had similar situation 12/2019. Industrial snake used and what was pulled out was heavy utility towels that we determined had been stupidly flushed down by contractors that had done work in the home. It was suggested at that time to send a camera down to be sure no other issue, but we thought we were okay after seeing the utility towles removed, water was running freely through the drain in the basement. Well, part II, we're here again 8/2020. This time clog closest to basement drain freed up quickly. Jacob suggested most efficient way is to perform a jet wash blowing any remaining debris further out from the house out of the pipe into the main drain area in the court and sending camera down to see what's up. We agreed. Camera pictures revealed scale throughout cast iron pipe with largest amount of buildup further away from the property just as pipe neared main drain area in the court. Descaling will be completed tomorrow. Could have been worse. Thankfully no tree roots or pipe fracture. The Pipe Doctor's jet wash price best compared to other plumbing companies neaby and overall cost is competitive. Although we have the descaling yet to be performed, I have no doubt based on previous performance and today's performance/outcome there will be no need for me to alter this evaluation. Quick response, competitive pricing, great customer service. I would highly recommend.

The problems were strange and required some investigation. The team first focused on the washer drainage. Eventually they used a camera inserted into the clearance pipe to check the drainage pipe from the house to the septic tank. They discovered a "dip" in the pipe, possibly resulting in an obstruction that might have caused the water to back up, kind of like a rock in a stream. (Admittedly, I may not describe this as clearly as I should...not a plumber!). Using shovels and an excavator, they dug about 5 feet into the ground between the house and the septic tank, ultimately discovering both the dip/weakening in the pipe and a 3" crack (almost half of the pipe) closer to the house. I feel like their work saved us much more money down the road, because without investigating/fixing the "dip" in the pipe, we would never have know about that crack. Without repair, it could would likely have begun leaking back into the foundation. The team was able to replace a 10' section of pipe, connect it to the septic, and confirm a steady drain of water. We have not had the backup or any drainage issues since. However, the smell didn't completely leave the laundry room. They came out again and, after a couple of smoke tests and cuts into the drywall, discovered a vent pipe that had in years past (we've owned the house for 5 years) simply been cut to move the washing machine hookups to the side wall (rather than the back). Although the smoke largely discharged through the roof vents as designed, this uncapped vent allowed septic odors to creep back into the washing room, particularly in the morning when the air outside was heavier. They were able to cap the pipe, and that removed the odor. We have not had any issues since they completed their work. The team was very responsive, and worked with me to reschedule the washing room work after a death in one of the worker's family...only slipped a single day. They also reduced the cost for disconnecting/moving the washer and dryer, since they didn't reconnect them (We were of course going to have to do get drywall repair/paint work after they finished). Although I am hoping to avoid any plumber issues for a while, I know who I will call if something comes up. Absolutely recommend this team.

Extremely happy with Jacob who cleared 2 drains and fixed 2 toilets in the first 15 minutes. Then replaced the outdoor faucet and indoor pipe leading to the faucet. Fast work, very good service. Definitely use again.

Everything went well and he did a great job on the drain/sink trap. I would not pay again for caulking. A very small caulking job around vanity top cost $150, which was definitely not worth it.

Plumber Adam was fast, and cost effective. Pipe doctor was actually the second plumbing company we called, as the first was so pushy and pricey. Adam was easier to talk to and explained what the problem was and told us exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem. He replaced something called a "Shark Bite" valve that had been leaking (we had been without water most of the day). I will absolutely reccomend this fine company and Mr. Adam in the future to any of my family and friends in need.

Adam was outstanding. He walked me through what was wrong with the trap as well as why the problem was further complicated by a mostly clogged drain. He removed the clog, showed me what he pulled out, then refit a new trap all in under an hour. When he left it was like nobody was ever there doing major plumbing work. I highly recommend Pipe Doctors, and Adam in particular.

Very well. We had suffered occasional blockages of the kitchen double-sink drain from use of the disposal, and Adam discovered that the double trap was causing waste matter to settle in the line, eventually plugging it. After we discussed solutions, I had him replumb it with a single trap and a built-in drain line cleanout. He did a thoroughly professional job. I'm grateful that Pipe Doctor was so prompt in sending him out; he was there within two hours of my call. It cost a bit more than I expected, but I was willing to do it right rather than have to do it again, and the price was fair for the work involved.

We had a pinpoint leak in a solder joint in a copper supply pipe. It had been leaking in the ceiling drywall for some time when we discovered it. Pipe Doctor was e to dispatch a team right away. Wayne and Dade arrived on time, repaired the problem, and neatly cleaned up the paint and drywall mess, in just about an hour. Great service, thanks!

Great! We phoned, spoke to the owner, who scheduled service for the very next day (actually it could have been same-day but that didn't work with our schedule). Adam arrived within the scheduled time window, toured our projects, and set right to work. Besides doing the fixes quickly and efficiently, he shared his extensive expertise, explaining what was needed and why, the type and quality of the items he was installing, differences in techniques, and advice on a couple of other issues we had noticed (for example how replacing a couple of aerators equalized the flow between two bathroom lavatory taps. Total cost was about $750 which we thought reasonable. We would definitely call PipeDoctor again for future plumbing needs.

It went well. They were prompt and courteous, called us within a few hours, had the work done quickly. And all on New Year's Eve.

I had a kitchen pipe crack while I was installing my new dishwasher. They arrived quickly and repaired the pipe. The plumber, Adam, even walked me through the rest of the dishwasher installation!

Adam showed up on Christmas Day and did a full assessment and explanation. My son and his bride were flying home for the 1st time since he returned from deployment. We called two other "outfits" that promised emergency service but no go on the 25th. It was a tough job as we have an old house with old cast iron plumbing. Adam explained everything in detail - once the line was cleared Adam returned with Don the next day ran the camera through and gave us a video - 60+ year old cast iron pipes; there are numerous issues and we will definitely have Pipe Doctor back to address our issues. A new access point was installed in the main basement line - I am well and truly pleased with this job and the price. I believe plumbing reviews in this area (NOVA) all seem to mention over pricing. Scheduled service to occur the day after I called. Called just before arriving. Demonstrated how to to do the repair and pointed out common mistakes made by do-it-yourselfers. Very courteous.

We woke on a Sunday morning to all three of our toilets not working. We got worried about the waste line. I called up and spoke to the owner at 730am. He got one of his guys to our house at 930am. Adam came in smiling and ready to work. A very knowledgable fella with big mutton chops. Luckily not a waste line issue. Worked was done without a hitch and we could return to a peaceful Sunday morning. I recommend and would hire again.

Adam was amazing! My husband and I were very stressed about finding a leak in one of our pipes on a Friday afternoon, but thankfully Adam was able to come out same day and get it fixed for us. Adam was very straightforward and detailed in all that needed to be done, which gave us confidence that he was the right guy to do the job. Professional company. Did have to call them after the service to have the guy come back to make something a little better and they did with no issue and an apology. Nice people. The only reason I didn't give an A was because they had to come back.
