It was an A. I think it was around $900-1000. They were perfect. I have a very heavily landscaped yard. They controlled the product that was being removed. In a way that it never fell on an shrubs, and they didn't break anything. They removed it all and took it up and carried it away. They had to work on 3 different trees.

I had a problem with the tree. I was seeing things that I knew weren't okay. I called them to see and help me figure it out. WE figured out what the problem was that I had scale in the oak trees. They treated it and came back several times over the past couple years to check if it was under control. It has been under control, and I have seen a noticeable difference particularly this year and helped in the tree. It leafed out this spring. They are just an A company.

I have used them for a number of things in the past 2 years. The person that I have dealt with is an arborist and he is extremely knowledgeable. You never see a trained arborist so he knows what he is talking about. He is very personable. They have been very responsive to my calls. I am a master gardener so I am not an uninformed client. I am very demanding. I am demanding in that I know what is appropriate. That is one reason I like them is because I can have intelligent conversations and we get to the matter of what is needed in my yard. They have done pruning trees and shrubs for me. They also have treated some issues with trees successfully. The price was very good. The price was reasonable because I know how long it takes to do these things. It was a reasonable amount for what I got. Part of the pruning I am thrilled with, another part is some bushes I am not familiar with, and they have not came back completely like they are suppose to. But they still have time to do that. They are very responsive. They come when they say. I am going to be calling them today to come out.

We were very pleased. Very knowledgeable and helped us to make good decisions about where and what to cut. Work was nicely done. Clean up thorough. A totally positive experience.

They have worked for us for 10 years, once or twice a year. Their cost of service is too high. We consider the cost and use them if we think we can afford them.

It didn't work very well. They were not responsive. They kept coming back after I cancelled the service. Bad communication and no follow up. I made phone calls and emails and it just didn't work. The staff in the office failed.

I have used them a number of times. They are nice. They scheduled me in a timely manner for the estimates. They reviewed what I wanted done. They gave me a cost within a day or two and we scheduled the work. When I came home I could clearly see that something was done. They cleaned up after themselves. They did what I asked them to do.

They are always very nice and knowledgeable. They answer questions. Therefore, we appreciate their opinion.

Care of Trees was hired to remove a large cedar tree that had died in our back yard. In taking down the tree, a large part of the tree hit another large tree taking a chunk out of it. Of course it took a while for the perfectly good tree to die (about a year) and when I called Care of Trees, the only compensation was that they would take down the tree and charge us $350. I was so mad at them, I hired someone else at my expense to take down the tree. I will never use them again and I pass the word to everyone I know who is interested in a tree service not to use them.

James, the arborist, came out and provided a risk assessment of a large tulip popular near the back of our home. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, patient and helpful. He provided a comprehensive risk assessment. Even though he works for a tree service, we are convinced that he gave us an honest assessment of the minimal risks we faced, rather than, for example, suggesting unnecessary service.. He gave us an honest assessment of various risks and told us about cost effective solutions such as cabling that would diminish even the minimal risk we faced. The prices he quoted seemed very reasonable. We would definitely use them again.

It went well, there are no problems and it seems to be working great. They do what they say they are going to do, do it the day they say they will do it, and the price is reasonable.

They did the job on time and for a good price. It was prompt and I was very happy. I had them remove all the materials (but not grind the stump). I'd recommend them and use them again in a heartbeat.

Arrived on time. Good group of guys who knew their stuff. Safely removed a tree that was leaning too much towards the house. I have used Care of Trees numerous times and each time as been excellent in service provided.

I asked that he give me a written report and he said, "Sure, no problem." I have yet to hear from him or the company again. I guess the nice thing is that my trees had a morning of love from the tree guy.

After Hurricane Sandy struck, it was difficult to find any tree company that wasn't swamped with work. Care of Trees offered me the lowest estimate of anyone that I contacted, and they actually showed up for work when they said they would (unlike some of their competitors, who said that they would show up, but then canceled because they were swamped). The tree was in a difficult to access spot in the corner of my backyard, but they removed and trimmed a broken part of the trunk, and added a re-enforcing steel cable to save the rest of the tree, for a lower price than I was quoted by anyone else.

We had a few companies come out to give us a quote. We felt they were the most professional and an arborist came out to discuss our tree that was dying. They also came out with a strategy of how to save the tree which I really appreciated. They were the only company that gave an alternative route to cutting the tree down. 18 months later, the tree is still alive. They came on time and did the work in a timely fashion. The workers were very professional and have experience with working in tight spaces as well.

We did not use this company. We did it ourselves.

They were great. They were more expensive than some of the other vendors but they did an awesome job. They were professional. When you called up, there is a receptionist that answers, you're not like talking to some guy in a truck. It was a much more professionally run organization than a lot of tree organizations I've dealt with.

We were very impressed with their staff from start to finish. The arborist who gave the estimate was very knowledgeable and passionate about trees. The climber who went up in the trees was amazing and he and the other staff member Who performed the service were very kind and professional. Also I spoke to the staff in the office several times and found them to be helpful and kind.

Their service is good but they are not the cheapest. However, the quality of the work is very good.

I called for an estimate and an arborist came to the house within a few days. It took several days to get an estimate and were able to do complete the service within a few weeks after that. They came while I was at work and by the time I came home everything was complete. They left the yard cleaner than they found it. Would definitely consider using them again for service!

I contacted the Care of Trees arborist, Zana Jevremovic, by email and explained what I wanted a proposal for. Zana came by and evaluated the tree and provided a proposal for $285 which included all of the services listed above. Up to this point, everything moves incredibly fast with the Care of Trees. Getting the service crew out to perform the work is a bit of a different story. I only had to wait for a few weeks for the work to be completed, but the Care of Trees never really provides exact dates of when they are going to conduct the service. I completely understand why and it is only fair to explain: It is expensive to get trucks and crews out to perform the work. It is much more efficient for them to schedule work in blocks so their crews aren't spending the day driving from one end of the DC area to the other. I do not fault them for this, and I don't think other customers should either. If it is emergency work, I am sure they would have a crew out immediately. I trust Zana's professional opinion, the crews do great work, and you can't beat their prices. I recommended Zana/Care of Trees to two coworkers. Both of them conducted business with her and the company and have the same great things to say. I won't look elsewhere for tree service.
