NO work has been performed....this is the problem. We are updating our kitchen. Sears did the cabinets and countertop was contracted to put in granite countertops. The contractor called for us to invite countertop to measure the cabinets for counters after cabinets were actually installed in the house. We did that and they came out on 8 Nov. and said they would deliver the countertops on the 24th. On the 24th they did not show up at the agreed upon time so we called...at which time they informed us that they could not deliver the counters...We had no recourse to reschedule for 1 Dec. Today is the 29th of Nov....we called to confirm that everything was on schedule and we were told that it they would show up on 1 Dec. Two hours later they called back to say the countertops were not available and new we are scheduled for 12 Dec. This is whole unacceptable...we cannot cancel the contract with out a large penalty...we feel we have no recourse and the company has been less than help.

Visiting the showroom and deciding on product was easy thanks to Frank. There was a one month waiting time for manufacturing and installation set up. Ike, the measurer was excellent. He knows this business and pointed out things (like height of back splash to hide marking of old back splash) that added to the appearance of the finished look. My counter area was relatively small but the template making took four hours! Scheduling the installation date was tricky. The customer service staff is extremely difficult to reach. I missed their initial call and despite leaving messages, never received a call back. They do not respond quickly to e-mails. The installers showed up on time and completed work in less than three hours. The finished product looks great.
Description of Work: New kitchen counter top. They replaced an old laminate top with Zodiac.
