The crew that did the installation was professional, cleaned up after themselves and the new roof looks great. Originally the estimator told us that the job could be done in one day. I didn't think that this was possible and asked the estimator again and he said yes, they could do it in one day. It turned out that it took 2.5 days to finish the job. Other than that everything went well.

The estimate was fine and they were fine, but I just chose another contractor.

This job went very well! My appointment was very easy because they got back to me quickly. They explained the work, start date, and necessary permits; although, I don't think they mentioned it would be a two day installation. I was very pleased with the work. They also secured the permit for me. It was professionally installed, and the work area cleaned up afterwards. They installed the rubber roof with minimal disruption to me or my neighbors. The price was reasonable; however there were no extras. I would definitely use Springfield Roofing again.

Springfield roofing did an excellent job - starting with Mike's estimate. He arrived when scheduled and took his time to explain various options for replacing and repairing the roof. We agreed on a date to start work and the materials were delivered to the house on time. However, due to an unexpected out of town trip we had to delay the start. Mike and everybody else at Springfield Roofing was incredibly accommodating. When we returned they began the work. Most of the work, expect for the gutters and chimney repair, was finished in one day. All of the workers were employees of Springfield Roofing (NO day laborers or subcontractors) and were experienced roofers. At the end of the day they spent close to an hour cleaning up the outside of our house - looking for trash, discarded shingles, and nails. To this day we have not found a single nail in the yard. After the work was complete Mike met us at the house to review the work and make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We just had Hurricane Sandy come through and the roof held up great - no leaks, no damage, no missing shingles. I would highly recommend Springfield Roofing!

He confirmed the repairs via email, forwarded the photos, and sent-on the bill after the hurricane had left the area. (I have the receipt and photos to show the buyer to confirm the repairs were made.) I hope my other repairs to sell the home are as efficient as my experience with Mike at Springfield Roofing!

After deciding we needed new siding, we contacted Mike Bennett of Springfield Roofing (who has done work for us before). He came out and heard our wish list of all the things that needed doing to the outside of our house. He came back a couple days later to take measurements and within a week he had an exact estimate. It is a big job and work has not yet begun. Also Hurricane Sandy struck recently. The price was a good bit higher than we were guessing, so it took us a couple weeks to recover from sticker shock. But we believe it is a fair estimate for the amount of work needed and the quality of materials we are asking for. UPDATE: Springfield Roofing has now completed the work and we couldn't be more pleased! It was a huge job that took many workers many days to complete, but they all worked hard and the results are impressive. They brought out a dumpster and cleaned up at the end of each day. The cuts are precise and every detail, from window trim to caulking to nail color is carefully done. We went with cement fiber board by James Hardie and it looks fantastic.

After the Derecho storm in July, I called several roofing companies for an estimate to repair my roof after a huge tree branch fell on it and punctured the roof. John P****** from Springfield Roofing called back that day and scheduled an inspection the next day. They showed up as scheduled, inspected my roof, gave me a good estimate after discussing various options, removed the branches, cut them up, placed them at the curb and temporarily patched my roof. Later returned and repaired the trusses and repaired the roof as good as new in one day. Great job,

They've been great and everything was good. He was responsive and the price was reasonable. We were talking about other things in the house that he could help me with and he was very knowledgeable about a lot of different topics.

They did a good job but I have not had anything done recently. I believe the cost at the time seemed reasonable and the insurance company seemed satisfied. The work has held up very well and I have had no problems whatsoever. The person who cleans our gutters and inspects the roof said they did a great job and we have great confidence in his opinion. I also liked their salesperson who did the estimate, his name is Dave Fudge. He is very knowledgeable and very practicable in his approach. I was pleased with him and I would do business with them again if the need arises. They did exactly what they said they do.

I liked the price and the level of detail in the estimate.

Overall, Springfield Roofing was extremely prompt, professional, and responsive. The estimator even called me the day of the appointment to ask if he could come earlier, which was very convenient. Estimator was fast, provided a detailed estimate of the issue. He did offer additional repairs that he saw -- but was not pushy -- though I stuck with the main issue. The company did come on the day as promised. One small criticism is that I specifically asked them to come only when I was home. Even though I was home they did not ring the door bell and went up on the roof as soon as they arrived. Though I think the price was high for the job, compared with the multiple contractors I contacted, Springfield was hands down the most responsive and true to their word that no job was too small.

I got three estimates. Springfield was the lowest and since it was a pool roof I wasn't too concerned. But as it turned out they not only had the best price...they did a fantastic job! Top quality shakes, professional wokers and spotless job clean-up. Three years later there have been zero problems with the roof. I now recommend Kevin at Springfield Roofing to all my clients! Mike and the workers from Springfield Roofing did a fantastic job. They came out to provide an estimate fairly quickly and performed the work a couple of weeks later. The price was reasonable for the type of roof I wanted and they stayed within budget. The guys worked on the roof for three days and they did a great job. They arrived early in the morning each day and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Overall it was a seamless experience. After the work was complete, Mike came out to walk the roof with me and explain what they did. Very professional company.

All 3 of the jobs we had done by this company were completed satisfactorily and in a price range we felt was quite reasonable. They do the job right the first time, and you can trust their workmanship.

Great. Start to finish Mike Bennett managed his team for us, even being on site for the work. Good job educating us on roofing in general and why he was recommending the services and materials he quoted us. Mike was really low pressure which we liked as well. And this puts him at the top of my list. Had a problem with a gutter draining after the work was complete. Mike came out and climbed up to the second story to find that it was just leaves causing the problem, cleaned them out, and wouldn't take a dollar from me for the trip out.

Springfield Roofing showed up within the time period they stated. No needed to be home, so their schedule and the weather are the controlling factors as to what day the job is completed. The job was completed in one day or less with no know follow repairs needed. The Quality Control review was done and final billing followed. All of these actions were explained by the estimator initially when giving me agree quote. I was very satisfied with all aspects of my relationship with Springfield Roofing. I would definitely use them again if the need arises I have also recommended them to various neighbors.

They did a beautifully job. Other companies couldn’t figure out what the problem was and they knew the problem right away. They were very professional. We would recommend them highly.

As mentioned above, this was a very complex project because of the nature of the house (a contemporary with flat roofs that have never drained well, and numerous windows right at the roof line). The owner, John P******, was very helpful in explaining the work they proposed to do, how the new roof would work, and then executing the job. There were numerous unexpected problems that came up in the course of the roof reconstruction which required them to work with another contracting company I had to hire for carpentry work, and Springfield Roofing coordinated and worked with the other company seamlessly. In addition, the employees were incredibly nice to work with and kept the premises completely clean during the work. Every time there was a question or an issue, they were 100% responsive. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

I had several missing shingles replaced and had them install a ridge vent system for the house and garage peaks to improve ventilation. I also had a problem with water leaking in near the junction of the garage roof and house roof. The estimator (David Fudge) explained in detail how they could fix this - new ice and water shield, new flashing, etc. The work was done a few days later. We had some record-breaking rain after the repair and everything was fine - absolutely no leaks and the venting is improved.

There were several issues that they had to come back to fix or I had to adjust. They were willing to come back, but I was frustrated that the project was not completed as planned. The skylight they put in wasn't what I ordered, the initial one didn't open. So when they came back to replace (weeks later) they did what I would call "patch work" on the wood structure that was needed to have the skylight slant the new direction with the new skylight. I would have preferred they pull out the "wrong" structure that worked with the "wrong" skylight. The siding went up ok, except when they gave me the estimate they didn't include all the window frames, which was a new cost I hadn't planned for. I also asked that the downspout be moved from the center of the house to the right side of the house so I could get a rain barrel per the DC program. They ended up putting the downspout to the left of the house and the rain barrel wouldn't fit so I tried to research other solutions however rain barrel season is over so a lot of options weren't available. I ended up having them keep the downspout on the left, and at the bottom run to the city source until I can figure out the barrel options, but they should have told me during the estimate that the downspout couldn't go down the right side of the house. Overall I do think Springfield is a competent company, and I would recommend them to a friend however I would add a lot of caveats and encourage potential client to really get a detailed estimate/plan and review the work as you go.

They charged me $780 for their services. They were pretty responsive and so I liked them. I had no issues. They came and did the work. Actually I thought the price was pretty good from what I had talked with some other people. I think I had called a couple of other people and their price wasn’t that bad. I had tenants in that house and they did it without even having to disturb the tenants or anything. It was still a good experience. My tenant told me that the work looked good and when I went and looked at it, it looked good. My gutters are working and so I guess that’s good. They did good. I will definitely use their services again in the future if I need to.

Work was done very professionally, they had to come back a second day, but I'd rather the work be done right than quickly.
