We are enjoying our new roof. Springfield worked around the weather and left the property clean when the task was completed. Andrew was a joy to work with. We would not hesitate to engage this firm again.

When I called the company, they came to my house within 30 minutes to do an estimate because I told them I had open holes in my roof. Ben came and made me feel confident in his abilities to assess the roof and recommend the best roof for me. The workmen came and put the roof on quickly and meticulously cleaned up after themselves. A snow storm was predicted in 2 days, and another man from the company came before the snow to check and be sure everything was taken care of and solid. They also installed a ridge vent. I highly recommend this comapny. My roof is beautiful and definitely adds value to my home.

They did a great job! I had a lot of questions, and Ben answered all of them very thoroughly before we hired Springfield. The crew came right when they said they would and got the job done very quickly and very well. Extremely hard-working and friendly crew, and they worked a very long day. They alerted me right away to issues they found that would require repairs. Their bid came in under the other two bids we got for the job. We're very pleased with the way the house looks and with our experience with Springfield Roofing.

These folks were very responsive and provided a written estimate for the work needed after doing an inspection of the damage. Their estimate was very close to that provided by my State Farm insurance adjuster. State Farm cam up a little and these folks agreed to do the work for the new amount. They were very responsive to my desires to have the work completed before the winter weather got worse and came three days after my notifying them I wished to proceed. Very courteous.

The office was courteous and the estimator was punctual and responsive. However, the estimator was inconsistent, argumentative, and clearly just didn't want the job. Our request was to get an estimate for a new ridge vent and to install soffits on a row house. The estimator said he thought we had a working ridge vent (if we have one, we wanted it replaced, anyway) and wouldn't give an estimate for installing or replacing one. He said he needed to go into our attic or onto our roof, but refused to do either when he arrived. He did provide an estimate for installing soffits and smart vents, but his estimate varied wildly from sentence to sentence: $500, then $750, then $995. The work included not more than $150 in materials and 4 hours of work, but the longer the conversation went on, the more expensive his quote became, until I eventually said we weren't interested. It was a strange experience and could benefit from some customer relations training.

1. They forgot to call to schedule the repair. They just showed up. We thought that was odd. 2. It was one person for one hour working on the roof. 3. They failed to take pictures after the job in their rush to move on. After we called, the estimator did come back and took pictures. 4. They did not match the colors well. The repaired section is obviously a patch. We were wary of the estimate of $935 for such a simple job, but we thought we would try them. When asked, the estimator told me about all the workers comp coverage he pays, etc. Well, they may have gotten us once, but we'll never use them again. We don't appreciate paying a roofer $935 an hour!

Was a very good job from beginning to end. We got three estimates from contractors on Angies List. Springfield Roofing was the quickest to respond and had the best estimate.. They were very upfront about the incessant rain and what it does to schedules. Once the material was delivered the crew immediately started to work. Hard working crew. Always left the property cleaned up. At the end there was a quality control inspector who came out and went over the roof. Then there was payment. I highly recommend.

Needed a new attic fan and some other minor roof repairs. Called Springfield Roofing for an estimate. The estimator was out the next day. Did a quick roof inspection, gave me the good and bad news. Did not try to upsale me. The estimate was a fraction of the others I got. Surprised when the crew showed up the next day to do the work and finished up in a couple of hours. Will definitely consider Springfield when I need to replace the roof or need other repairs.

Springfield Roofing sent an experienced estimator to evaluate our 25 year old roof, and to offer us a proposal for replacing it. Although we ended up choosing another company, our experience with Springfield was quite positive. The estimator spent considerable time with us, helping us better understand the particular challenges of our roof, and answered our follow-up questions when we called. His proposal was very competitive and we weighed it carefully before making our decision. We especially appreciated the information he shared about our current roof and the difficulties in replacing this particular configuration. He was clearly knowledgeable and came highly recommended by friends who had dealt with him on a difficult roof they'd had replaced (problems with a prior roofer, and Springfield came to the rescue). We took a long time weighing roofing options, since none of the five proposals offered quite the same recommendations. We benefited from what we learned from the Springfield estimator, and appreciated his willingness to share his knowledge.

A friend had recently used Springfield Roofing to replace her roof and recommended them. I called and described the leak in our living room ceiling, and the person on the phone took my information and let me know an estimator would contact me to come out. Jerry called me promptly and we set up a time for that coming Friday morning for the estimate. He arrived as expected. He observed the interior damage from the leak, then climbed on the roof to inspect it, and we discussed the age and condition of the current roof. Since the roof is in good shape and showed no damage he said the leak was likely at the flashing around the chimney. He provided an estimate of $450 to reseal it. I made a 50% deposit that day and the work was completed within one week. (Since all the work was outdoors they did not need to schedule the work while we were home.) Someone at the office contacted me to collect the balance. No major rains since to know if the repair is successful, but we assume it will be resolved. Jerry was also helpful with recommending a coating to treat the damaged drywall from the leak.

Unfortunately all too often these days contractors say they guarantee their work, but they really don't. Not Springfield Roofing and Siding. We had Mike Bennett. Last October we had a roof leak and had several companies come out to give us estimates. Only a couple were honest and really went up to inspect the roof and give us their assessment. Most of the other companies immediately said "new roof!" But Mike took the time to explain the issue and suggest a repair. And he and his team did it. Well fast forward to July and we had some bad storms and some high wind that effected the roof, and we ended up with another leak. Called Mike out to take a look, he saw that the storms did some damage to an area close by the original leak and went up and fixed it and also addressed some shingles around our chimney. Did it that day, got it all done. And here's the kicker - NO CHARGE! Just fixed up and said we were all set. We know one day our roof will need to be replaced (its well over 20 years old) and the first person we will call is Mike Bennett - because he's honest, reliable, does good work and he keeps his word!

When our townhouse was under contract in February, snow storms prevented the home inspector from checking out the roof. Concerned that we didn't have a full picture of what we were getting ready to buy, our realtor called Springfield Roofing. Mike came out to inspect the roof right before the second wave of a storm front, and gave us incredible peace of mind. At the time, he flagged that we needed to get our roof recoated. Shortly after we scheduled the recoating a few weeks ago, we noticed a small water stain on the ceiling of our bedroom. We alerted Mike that we had an immediate problem, and he came out within a day to diagnose the issue. They have since fixed the leak and recoated the roof, all without any hassle. Springfield Roofing is incredibly responsive and easy to deal with.

I requested an appointment for them to come to my house to give me an estimate to repair the leak in my roof. I quickly got a response from Janet who seemed nice enough. Then I got an email from Andrew trying to schedule a day and time. The 2 days he suggested, I was not available and told him what day I would be available. While I was waiting for a response from him I got an email from JC who is somehow related to the owner (they have the same last name), but he called me by the wrong name. I emailed him back and told him he called me by the wrong name but never got a response with an apology, which I certainly deserved for being disrespected. In the mean time, I had scheduled an appointment with Andrew. When I didn't hear back from JC, I sent an email to Janet asking her when I could expect an apology. The response I got was RUDE. He apologized but only because I had to ask for it not because it was the right thing to do or because he was sincere. His excuse for being disrespectful was because they are "very busy and dealing with a lot of customers". He went on to say that he didn't respond to my email because I had already been in contact with Andrew - which has nothing to do with responding to offer a SINCERE APOLOGY - and that they were cancelling my appointment. They were the ones who did the wrong thing by being rude and disrespectful and when I simply asked for a well-deserved apology they decided not to do business with me. That's fine. Nobody else should business with them either. They clearly have too many customers to keep them all straight and homeowners should find a business that will make time for them and treat them respectfully.

Regretfully I never met them but everyone I spoke with were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had removed a bay window from my bedroom on the second level of my split level home. I had just enough aluminum siding to cover the area needing repair. They were the only company that would even come out to the house and give me an estimate because aluminum is to difficult to work with. They came when promised to give the estimate, they showed up when promised to do the work and they did a great job. I have no complaints, I would use them again.

Very well. All work performed efficeintly and professionally. Damage to facia trim and gutters caused by roofing shingle delivery firm was completely repaired to like new condition.

He was actually a little bit early than his appointment which is nice. He's professional, efficient especially when the time he's been with us and we were able to get an appointment and scheduled the work in a fairly short turn around. He provided the estimate when he was supposed to and he's very responsive.

We had a polycarbonate (clear plastic) roof on our sunroom for over 10 years. Always leaked and you couldn't hear yourself talk when it rained. My wife and I talked about winterizing the sunroom and the priority was replacing the roof. Had several contractors come buy and provide estimates. All quoted extensive remodeling but Springfield roofing was the only one that quoted a simple solution using a TPO covering with T1-11 plywood underlayment for the ceiling. Asked about insulating the roof. No problem, they added 2 inch ISO insulation to the quote. Provided a quote within days that was very reasonable. I had used them previously in 2013 after the Derecho to repair my main house roof after large branched punctured the roof. They did a great job then and they didn't disappoint me this time either. Lois and Jose showed up promptly as scheduled, had the old roof off and the T1-11 plywood and ISO insulation laid down the first day and cut and tacked down the TPO covering since it was threatening rain that evening. Luis had worked on my roof repair in 2013. He told me that when removing the shingles to prepare attachment of the TPO to the main roof, he found damage to the shingles and plywood underlayment on the main roof that was leaking for some time and probably causing some of the apparent leakage in the sunroom. He repaired the damage without being asked. Finished the job the next day. The crew hauled everything away and cleaned up the worksite. Really looks great. My wife and I are very pleased. Can't say enough for the quality and professionalism Springfield Roofing provided, let alone at a reasonable price.

Roof on my home (rubber) and carriage house and small shed (asphalt) look great. Was not informed that adhesive for rubber roof would permeate my house and my neighbors home (I live in a duplex). Crew did not speak any English, my painter had to translate. Never saw a project manager on site when I was home. But the work was high quality and finished on time.

estimator showed up on time, and was very knowlegeable. Then, crickets. After two weeks, he emailed us to say, well, your roof is unusual, and we don't see much of those. After that - nothing. Very disappointed, especially given that I had initially described the issue to them to be sure this was something that they could do.
