SCW Kitchen and Bath were fantastic to work with. They were very fast in scheduling an appraisal and within one day I had a 3D mock up of the design, a walk through of materials and an estimate. They were receptive to working with me on price and materials until I was happy to approve the work. The SCW team were always puctual and never missed a day they were scheduled to work. Once my project started, the crews worked my project until the end and never did I feel they were "job jumping" at the expense of my schedule. The finished project was fantastic and looked amazing. As with all construction projects, communication is key on both the contractor and the homeowner to fully understand each other and what is requested. Areas for improvement were minor and inlcluded a more detailed outline of work scope and material delivery dates, but these were very minor and did not impact my project. I would definiately use SCW for a future project and would recommend the SCW team for those looking for high quality, modern kitchen and bath updates to their homes.

The project went exactly as planned-they kept exactly to my budget and finished the project within the time frame they estimated, which was MOST appreciated as we have had other contractors before who went overtime on projects. The daily crew was very nice and worked very hard. If there were any concerns, Ike and Akin from management were very responsive to any questions/concerns and made sure the customer was satisfied. The daily crew guys did their best to make my kitchen look as good as possible despite having non-square walls/floors (my house was built in 1940)-they did their best to fix it to where you can't tell the kitchen isn't square. One of their guys was WONDERFUL at plaster/drywall patching-I was amazed at how he could fix any wall deficiencies. At the end of each day, the crew cleaned up so there was no mess and they tried their best to keep any dust to a minimum when they removed my wall. I would use them again for other projects. What caused me to hire them over other contractors we interviewed was 1. their design was FAR superior to the others 2. their price was very good 3. Ike made it very clear that he wanted the customer to be completely satisfied and that they were very serious about sticking to the timeframe in the contract. 4. they seemed much more organized than some of the other contractors we interviewed. 5. they had some really nice granite/tile/backsplash choices and Akin knew exactly what to suggest that matched/looked really good, he has excellent taste. Some of my neighbors who were familiar with the old kitchen have seen the new one and are SHOCKED at the difference-they said its like I have a different house now-I went from having the original old 1940s teeny galley kitchen that had only been updated with appliances occasionally that looked like an "old lady's house" to a fancy, modern, open concept kitchen and bottom floor with a high end Mediterranean kitchen look. Most of them thought we spent twice what we did on the renovation!!!

End result was aligned with initial design. Work team was responsive to my feedback through the project. Very polite work crew, always cleaned up each day and had cleaning service come in at the end of the project to thoroughly clean all rooms.

Had the tub and toilet replaced as well as the floor tile and tile around the tub. Two layers of old floor tile were removed and the wallpaper. The walls were well prepared for painting. Received good advice on choice of the tile in a mat finish for both floor and tub area. Project manager closely oversaw the project and strove for excellence. He was reliable, detailed oriented, pleasant to work with, and took on a couple of minor jobs for which I had difficulty in getting help. I also met the owners of the company who made it clear they wanted me to have a positive experience and were available if needed. The project team who carried out the work was pleasant, thoughtful working in my small unit, competent, and arrived when they said they would over the time it took to complete the job in just over a week. I am so pleased with the outcome and excited about having a fresh new look. I would hire this company again.

We were looking to change our master bathroom and we looked around for companies that are a member of angies list. After talking to 4 different companies we decided to work with SCW. The entire project went smooth. Our designer Akin was very easy to work with. He was very responsive to our questions, gave us couple design alternatives and came to our house for the final measurement to clarify how it will be built. SCW took a complicated and time consuming project and turned it into an entirely well organized event. They kept their promises on the budget, the time frame for the build out and the quality. They gave us a new space in almost 2 weeks. I would recommend them to anybody out there looking work to be done.

SCW redid our small condo kitchen and it looks wonderful! They were great in assisting us in our choice of materials to keep costs down and to look good in our existing space. Their team of experts were professional and performed the job very quickly. We were only without our stove for 3 days and without our sink 6 days. The job was completed before the deadline. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our kitchen.

SCW team was amazing from beginning to end. They were incredibly detail oriented. They ensure that my house stayed clean at all times with floor and wall covering and provided daily updates on the progression of the renovations. Over delivered with their time frames and finished project two days ahead of schedule. When it came to designing my dream bathroom and kitchen the SCW design team wanted to ensure I was confident with all my selections and made several trips to my home with samples. They also created breathtaking 3D images of the kitchen and bathroom which included every fine detail of the actual renovation. They made me fall in love with my house all over again!!!

Ike's team created the design and we had many meetings to arrive at the final plan. When things came up, they always do, he was on the spot and ready to fix them, always with an eye to what was most pleasing to the eye and pocket book. Couldn't be happier with their work or caring.

We highly recommend SCW. While we were looking for alternative bids, they provided us with a lot of useful information about design and materials, and they did it quickly. Importantly, their pricing was less than most of the other bidders including the big box stores who seem to outsource almost everything. What finally sold us was SCW's sense of quality and their commitment to our satisfaction. Having created expectations before construction, they met and even exceeded them. Great customer service. A very good experience!

It would be difficult to say too many good things about my recent experience with SCW. Having undergone a partial renovation in 1995, I was anticipating an array of headaches, missed deadlines, and glitches. None of these problems occurred with SCW. The entire SCW team went above and beyond all expectations in minimizing the disruptions associated with renovations. When unforeseen plumbing or interior wall- issues were uncovered, they spent additional time in designing the optimum way to work around these issues in a way that was both economical and also contributed greatly to enhance the overall aesthetics for the final outcome. As well, not only was all furniture moved back in place after the work was completed, as would be expected, but SCW also showed up after normal working hours to help set up electronic equipment, re-work phone and cable lines, and re-assemble other heavy items that required additional manpower. Living in a historic neighborhood, most home renovations in my area are complex undertakings, as it is almost impossible to change the basic 'footprint' of a home. As such, achieving an upgraded and fresh look while also acquiring more livable space takes an unusual amount of ingenuity and design skill. SCW drafted a series of remodeling options, so we were able to finalize and execute plans for my renovation that matched my budget and provided me with the maximum return for my investment. The work was top notch and professionally executed . Moreover, I had the feeling that the team sincerely cared about the final outcome as much as I did. I could not have asked for a nicer group of contractors to work with and would recommend them without reservation for any type of home remodeling/renovation project!

Very professional at every step in the process. Made sure the kitchen area was clean at the end of each work day. Teams of workers were prompt and worked every minute they were in our house.

I am thrilled with the entire process and results. They made it so easy. All I had to do was write the checks! They used the latest technologies to complete the preliminaries, including internet, cell phones and cameras to document contracts. They sent some sample suggestions via e-mail and brought others to me to see in person. I never had to visit their showroom or leave the house. They were all very personable, knowledgeable and efficient. The workmen were skilled, quick, communicative and cleaned up exceedingly well. The work was done start to finish in 4 days!

He's primarily a house builder. He doesn't do a lot of retail work but he did kind of do some stuff on a recommendation. His company and the subcontractors he used to do stuff in the house was phenomenal. His company was phenomenal. He basically got a whole bunch of work done. I would say weeks that some other people would have taken them a long time. For example, I did have them put in hardwood floors in about 600 square feet. He had give the authorization to purchase the wood. We had purchased the wood on the same day and had a subcontractor installer show up the next day and did all the work in one single day. They had a plumber and they have a specialist there. He just did as far as everything that he did. He did the hardwood floors for about $1600 and the large corporate people's estimates were coming in at $2000+. I had a great price. I turned around and the installation job was amazing. He had an electrician there who changed the outlets for me. It was a lot of little bit of things. The house has been rested for a long time. They worked together with the painter. He dropped the wall and cut the painter's space as he was completed. The paint job was seamless.
