Description of Work: Master bathroom renovation down to the studs and installed recessed lighting in my LR. They did a great job! From Derrick helping with the design at the beginning, to Jaime's excellent and professional execution of the actual project, to Rick's management of the whole effort...everything was top notch. I will be calling Select again when it's time to do my kitchen. They aren't the cheapest or the fastest, but the entire team is excellent, trustworthy, and dependable.

Description of Work: Select Bath completely renovated one bathroom and partially renovated a second bath and a powder room. Excellent final product. Select Bath was bit more expensive than some of the other contractors we considered, but we felt it was worth the extra cost because of the careful, detailed planning they did and the clear sense of responsibility they took for their work. | |The workers were excellent, thoughtful, thorough, intruded as little as possible, cleaned up the site well every day. Communication with the workers was good in general, but there was something of a language barrier in communicating and understanding details. There were also some unclear communication with supervisor about work changes and price changes. But all the questions were easily and amicably resolved. The entire Select Bath staff was easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. | |We appreciated the detailed and precise costing out of the project before we signed the contract. The final cost was within $1,000 of the estimate, and that was because of the "surprises" that neither the owner nor the contractor can anticipate when working on a 140-year-old house. | |We would definitely use Select Bath again.

Description of Work: They gave us a detailed proposal on our remodeling project. It was a very good experience; they had some really creative solutions for our space issues. They were very thoughtful and very detailed from early on. They even sent out some of their technical experts to look at our home and give us detailed information on what they were able to do. We seriously considered them; but we needed roof work done as the same time as we were doing our remodel and they weren't able to coordinate both of these. If we had just been doing the kitchen and the bath we would have probably gone with them.

Description of Work: They completely re-built our upstairs bathroom, stripping the interior all the way to the outside walls. They then installed all new fixture, new wall and floor tile, and painted the remainder of the walls and ceiling. The workmanship was excellent, and the professionalism and friendliness of each staff member with whom we interacted was beyond reproach.

Description of Work: They excelled in some areas but there were some lapses in manpower at times and some overlooked inspections which led to huge delays in reordering cabinet doors. Project manager was excellent but rest of staff not so great.

Description of Work: Select Kitchen and Bath renovated our Master Bathroom/Dressing Area and Hall Bath. Everyone on our project - Diana, Kent, John and Charlie - were all very professional, responsive and extremely helpful throughout the process. We are so thrilled with our bathroom makeover and would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: My wife and I used Select to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom. While not the cheapest of our estimates we appreciated their professionalism and honesty. There was no low ball estimate and the actual price was very close to the original estimate, only changing because of some unforeseen issues and changes we requested. | |The remodel took almost two months but they had estimated that from the start. They work by sending one craftsman for all if the work, only sending helpers or specialists as needed. | |We were very happy with the final result, in fact, we hired them to remodel our other bathrooms.

Description of Work: Total master bath remodel. They finished a lot sooner than I expected and were extremely professional. They made sure everything was done as I wanted and kept asking if I wanted any changes made. They gave me plenty of time to make modifications and it was obvious that they wanted to do whatever I wished. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Description of Work: The scope of the project was to replace and remodel the existing kitchen. The work consisted of replacing all existig cabinets and countertops, flooring, and appliances complete with a new design and repositioning of of cabinets. I began the process by interviewing four Angie list "A" rated firms. I used a best value process in making my final decision. I was looking for a company that would be accountable for the entire effort in order to avoid multiple sub-contactors. I wanted a "turn-key" approach. After reviewing all the proposals I contracted with SELECT Kitchen and Bath because they provided a team approach from design throught execution. All components were involved from designers to installers. SELECT Kitchen and Bath were not the low bidder but using the best value process I chose SELECT Kitchen and Bath. The project began very well. Demolition was accomplished in one day and installation began immediately. There was one change order in that the existing floor had to be replaced. I was not anticipating this change but understood what was needed and why. However, on several occasions the installer was redirected to other on going jobs resulting in extending the length of time it took to complete my job. Additionally, there were other minor changes that had to be made during installation but working with the installer and project manager these changes were agreed to by all resulting in no further delays. Several other on-site issues arose that resulted in delays such as several new cabinet doors arrived damaged and had to be reordered and delivered. I would have thought that the cabinetry would have been inspected by SELECT Kithen and Bath prior to delivery. Lastly, was a troublesome issue with electrical in that one Ground Falt Interruptor (GFI) was not functioning properly and required multiple efforts to resolve prior to final inspection. |All in all the kichen remodeling effort when completed met my expections.

Description of Work: It took me a while to write this review because I'm so busy cooking in my beautiful, efficient, and fabulous kitchen! Select had excellent customer and professional service from the sales person (Diana) to kitchen designers (David and Devin) who designed a creative, practical and elegant space as well as recommending colors, tiles, hardware, etc and then building and project managing the kitchen (john). Our family had never done a renovation project before and when I asked friends for recommendations, no one felt comfortable recommending anyone so I checked Angie's list John, who managed and built our kitchen was terrific. He was friendly, patient, not intrusive and a wonderful craftsman. He listened, provided lots of information and calmly managed our (my) emotions around not having a functioning kitchen for so long. Select kitchens was extremely responsive and accommodating and unlike my friends' experiences, I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Wow! I had a wonderful experience with this company. Diana, Ray and Ira were a great team! They walked through every process of the bathroom project with me from the beginning. They were very sensitive to my communication needs. They took the time to communicate with me and were very responsive to my questions and concerns. Ira even went further by communicating with my condo neighbors. He gave them a schedule of when the noise level would become high. The quality of work is TOP NOTCH. They converted the ugly whirlpool tub area into a beautiful marble shower area with a sitting bench. I still could not believe how beautiful my bathroom turned out. It has a feel of a 5-star lavish Parisian retreat!

Description of Work: Project included the design, rip-out , and replacement of the entire kitchen. Select Kitchen and Bath is an excellent company in every respect. First and foremost, without exception, every person we came into contact with was courteous, listened to us - the customer - and in a word were professional. Ms Diana Runyon, our contract manager, provided the cost estimate for the project which hit the mark - with a few hundred dollars of our final total cost. She was also the key coordinator and kept the communication lines open throughout the project. Mr., Ray Collins, the on-site project manager, paid attention to construction details and was always available to quickly resolve minor issues. Mr. Mike Snedgren's workmanship was excellent and he strived to please; he did so by asking our preference when options were available.

Description of Work: I had previously reported that I got the run-around from one of their estimators and did not choose Select as our contractor. I got a follow up call from the owner today and he apologized for my experience and offered to help me in any way he could. He assured me that my experience was not consistent with their company's quality standards. I have already committed to another contractor but I appreciated his call and the fact that he did not try to get me to change my decision. I would be willing to call and work with the owner on a future project.
