We moved into our new home in early March and quickly reached out to RCI for a renovation proposal. Within just two days, they provided a detailed estimate based on our ideas, and in less than two weeks, those ideas became reality. RCI removed the wall between the kitchen and living room, creating a bright, open-concept main floor. They also took down the wall separating the two bedrooms, transforming the space into a spacious master suite complete with a walk-in closet and the framework for a future master bathroom. Once the structural work was complete, they refinished all the hardwood floors throughout the upstairs and on the staircase, completely transforming the feel of the upper level. It truly looks like a brand-new home. RCI was incredibly professional, efficient, and competitively priced. We’re already planning the next phase. We look forward to working with them again and confidently recommend that you do the same.

RCI built my new home in McLean, VA. From the contract negotiations through construction, I found Dick Christ very trusted contractor and very knowledgeable. During construction Dick was resolving the issues that we faced and he was there when I needed him to fix whatever issues during the first year after construction when I moved to the new home. I definitely recommend RCI for your project either it is a small project like small renovation or big project like new single family!

We hired RCI Corp to complete a 600 sq foot addition for my father. After nearly a year and a half the company had still not even completed the permit applications, unable to figure out the online permit request system. We informed them that we no longer wanted to work with them and requested receipts for the small amount of work they completed and a refund for the rest of our $15,000 deposit. After three months they have not returned calls or responded to certified letters and have essentially stolen our money. We are now having to move to legal action.

We had RCI renovate our downstairs bedroom. We are very pleased with the work. After the estimate was given Dick and his crew were flexible with our work schedules to finish the re model clean and efficiently We love it!

We had laundry area expanded and upstairs master bathroom redone. Price was most competitive out of a number of quotes received. Contractor was easy to deal with and responsive to questions and scheduling. The quality of work was decent?with our biggest issue being the lack of attention to detail in our view. For example: grout work and tile cutting upstairs was a bit sloppy; I had a fill a few small gaps with grout where the space was missed; no threshold was installed in entryway to bathroom, leaving tile edge exposed; and we had to request a second coat of paint in bathroom because there was wall showing through a bit (contractor provided promptly). Overall, reasonably satisfied.

Dick Christ did an admirable job, he paid personal attention to every step of the process and the workmanship could not have been any better. I will hire RCI again for other projects. Highly recommended!

RCI responded quickly and installed an attic floor with load bearing capability. This was as simple as it sounds yet the job was completed in one day. Special care was made to avoid attic insulation and sawdust contaminating the house. Minor concerns were addressed to our 100% satisfaction.

Richard really helped us with a significant remodel. He was particularly good at helping us with design issues and making the most efficient use of limited space. His crew was extraordinarily nice (one of them helped us find a lost kitten!) and skilled. They were all very professional and left a clean work site every night. I would highly recommend Richards and his crew for any home remodel.

My garage was built in a timely manner. I have been extremely satisfied with the overall results. The garage has been constructed with great materials and great overall craftsmanship. Richard beat the competitors prices. I would recommend RCI Corp. with any construction project.

Dick and his crew are amazing. Dick is a master builder who knows how to get things done without a lot of issues. He and his team are focused on doing a great job for the customer. His crew was punctual each day. They worked 6 days a week. Each day they came in with a focused set of things to accomplish and got them done. Highly trustworthy. Go above and beyond what s asked. Reasonably priced. Dependable and reliable. Responsive. Solid work. Would unquestionably hire them again!!

Overall, working with RCI was a very good decision, found through Home Advisor. Our 54-yr old family home had to be repaired and renovated to sell, which took about 3 months. Dick Christ is very experienced in this field, and made very tasteful design decisions, using quality materials. Also uses his own employees instead of subs for majority of work. As with any general contractor, if anything unexpected is needed, ensure you have agreed on what to do in writing prior to the work being done. We are happy with the results and would recommend RCI for any job, simple to complex.

Awesome job on nearly rebuilding my house! he completely rewired it and added a second story; all built with the best materials and is as sturdy as anything. he added great 4 bedrooms, three baths, and laundry, with a beautiful master sweet in the second story all laid out very efficiently with plenty of storage space. he added great appointments to make the house feel elegant; and the Kitchen is to die for!

Mr. Richard Christ contacted me from Home Advisor and we discussed adding a second story to my house. He drew up plans, submitted them to the county, and made sure we got an approved permit. Once we had the permit, he moved very quickly, the second story in 1 week and was under roof in about two weeks. He is extremely supportive and maintains communications very well. He provides great value for the money.

A tree limb pierced our roof and ceiling during a bad storm. Dick was very knowledgable, and his staff were very respectful and professional. The floors had to be refinished, roof repaired, plaster ceiling fixed, room painted., etc. They did an excellent job, and we will contact Dick for any other work we need to have done!

Richard and his crew took over a major project for us when our original siding/insulation contractors discovered major framing issues that they couldn't address. Needless to say, with the entire back part of our house left exposed, time was of the essence. Richard came over right away to advise us on a path forward and pointed out other issues that needed to be addressed. He was, to put it mildly, extremely knowledgeable about his craft. His workers were fast and professional, and Richard came by several times a day to check on progress. In addition, he was always available by phone, which was very reassuring. As first-time homeowners who were unprepared for the expanded scope of this project, we appreciate his calm, confident demeanor and he really helped put our nerves at ease. It was an expensive project, but we feel confident that it was done right and we won't have further issues. We will not hesitate to use Richard and his crew again, after our bank accounts recover a bit!

We had a great experience working with Dick. We hired him to knock down a load bearing wall in the middle of our house to make one large living room. He was the only contractor we talked to that knew there were ducts running through the wall. He worked well with our HVAC group to solve the issue of how to run the ducts up the side of the wall. He had someone out every day, all day and they were all very polite and hardworking. He was in constant contact with us daily, if not multiple times a day to tell us how the work was going. We were pleasantly surprised with how quickly they got the work done, right in the time frame he gave us. He came to check the job at the end and made sure we were happy with the results. His quote and final pricing were very reasonable compared to other quotes. We would recommend Dick and will look to him for any future renovations.

Richard Christ is wonderful to work with. He stays in constant contact with you and is always available for your questions or concerns. My project is still ongoing and I have not felt one moment's regret in choosing his company.
