Pion's was excellent! Not only did the technician come out the next day, he had the part and fixed it very quickly. I am so pleased! My oven is over 32 years old, and this is the first time it went out! They don't make them like this anymore, and I am so pleased Pion's was able to fix it. Scott was hired to fix my oven which was malfunctioning. He charged me $850 and then proceeded to leave the oven un-fixed for 9+ months after being unable to fix it without a part. At this point I am out the money and still have a broken oven after being strung along with promises of a fix and promises that the part had arrived. Do not use this service.

Very pleased with the response time. I put the request in Angi’s list and got a call within minutes. Replace was set up for the next day and now I am using my washing machine. Very pleased!

Problem diagnosed and estimate of repair work provided. There was no guarantee replacing electronic panel would fix problem (and for how long) and given age of unit recommended purchasing a new one. Appreciated the transparency and advice.

This was truly the worst experience I've ever had with an appliance repair company. Without going into great detail, my 3-year-old, well-taken-care- of Bosch ventless dryer's panel light indicated there was a drainage problem...the Bosch Manual says to call for service for a clogged drainage pipe. I did...Pion's...and was immediately told sight unseen a $450 drainage pump replacement was needed (which is extremely rare in a 3-year-old Bosch). I asked about the clogged pipe possibility and he said, No, it was the pump but he'd send someone out. The next day he did. I was immediately told (through an interpreter) that I needed a new drainage pump before he even examined the dryer. I repeated that the Bosch manual stated the indicator light meant to check for a drainage clog and asked if he would please check it first and then at least check out the functioning of the pump before concluding an unnecessary, expensive repair was needed. It literally would have taken 5 minutes to check for a clogged pipe. They were unable to explain the rationale for making this sight unseen assumption due to language challenges, so they called Scott. I asked Scott if they could at least check the drainage pipe since that's what the manufacturer recommends and the dryer was only 3 years old, but he refused, saying his "experience" said it was the pump...again, the tech hadn't even tried using the dryer to see how it functioned, looked at the pump, OR checked the drainage pipe. I was told if they weren't replacing the pump I'd need to find another company...oh...and then I was charged me $79 for a 5-minute "service fee". Just truly have never encountered anything like this.

My Electrolux Icon freezer half of the refrigerator freezer stopped working. The technicians vacuumed lint from the bottom, which needed to be done, but it did not fix the cooling issue. I spoke with Scott on the phone and he told me to empty the freezer, turn it off, and let the condenser coils release built up ice for 24 hours. I followed his instructions, collected the melted frost with towels, and now it works. Thanks, Scott Pion!

Spoke with Scott and in 3days he came out and removed and replaced our gas cooktop with downdraft. He knew exactly what to do. He was done in a little over an hour. Everything works, Highly recommend!

Excellent response and service. Scott Pion diagnosed the problem after our initial phone conversation, and came over with parts the next day--less than 24 hrs later. The repair took about 45 minutes. We are recommending Scott Pion to our friends, and will definitely use him in future.

After I texted Scott, he immediately called back to hear the issue. and stated he could come the next day. I had taken the dryer apart beforehand as I was interested in examining myself. He came with the part needed, installed it, and put the dryer back together. As he did the work, he answered my questions and provided tips on how to prevent this from occurring again. I would definitely call him again for other appliances when needed.

Mr. Pion called me on Monday morning to provide a price quote, found that he had the potentially needed pump in stock and came out early Monday afternoon. He started by cleaning the drain pipe of our LG washing machine, found that solved the problem and finished within a half hour. His bill was scaled accordingly. He was quite pleasant and informative. I'll call him the next time we need help.

Very happy with service. Appointment set up was easy and quick. Evaluated appliance and could not fix but provided useful information on whether to repair/replace and even called back with info on another provider (official GE repair service) who might be able to provide a better estimate on repair costs.

Told Scott the symptoms of what the washer was doing. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed parts. When the part came in, he set up the fix appointment and repaired the washer. It has been working flawlessly since. Great job!

Great! Someone reached out within minutes of my online request on Angie's List. Had a hypothetical diagnosis and estimated cost of repair via text that night (7:30pm on a Friday night) and someone was able to come out the next morning. Prompt, courteous and efficient. Couldn't ask for more.

Excellent. Received a call minutes after requesting a quote on Angie's List. I had asked whether it was worth a service call to look at our stove when the manufacturer did not make the partially burned out surface element anymore. The advice was there is nothing you can do if the element cannot be found on the internet (which I suspected), and it saved me a service call. Appreciated the honesty, and will definitely consider them for future appliance issues!

My fridge stopped cooling, and I requested quotes from two companies. The first company I called, and they did not have availability until a week out, and just booked my appointment without asking any details beyond my fridge's brand or giving me an estimation. Pion's was the second company, and I appreciate that before offering his service, he first asked a number of questions about the fridge's condition, then told me it's not a fixable issue and not to waste my money on bringing someone in. When I mentioned a lot of big companies are out of the fridge I was hoping for replacement, he also gave me a recommendation of a local appliance store. Very helpful, and I appreciate him saving me the unneeded repair cost/time. Would reach out if I encounter any other repair needs.

I received a call within half an hour form submitting my quote request. We discussed the problem on the phone and they advised me that the repair will be costly and it is best to buy a new dishwasher. I appreciated the advice and saving me the cost of in house visit.

Very well! The company immediately answered my request for a quote and was at my house in two days on my request (they would have come a day earlier). The work was performed as quick as possible with all the parts available at the time of the service. The tech wore protective mask and gloves given the current circumstances of the pandemic. The price of the service was reasonable in my opinion.

I have lived in Arlington for 40 years and never have had such great service from anyone. Every aspect of the performance was clear, accurate, helpful, and professional at all times. Scott was able to diagnose a failed part from our phone conversation. He ordered the part and the next day was able to make the repair in under 1 hour. Excellent outcome. Scott was efficient and respectful during the Covid crisis wearing a mask while in our home. Will definitely call him again for any future repairs.

However, he checked the cost of the part and learned the part was less expensive than he thought. He quoted me a price including the part and his labor. I have a high end (~$7,000) standalone, built-in GE freezer (BTW, I'll never buy another GE again, but that's another story) and it stopped cooling. I called GE service, waited 3 days for a GE guy to come out, he canceled at the last minute and then was having problems to get them to reschedule. So I gave up on GE and I tried searching on Angie's list. About 10 minutes after I responded that I needed help on Angie's list, I got a call from Scott who told me over the phone what he thought was causing the problem, how much he thought it would cost to fix and offered to come out the next day to look at it and confirm (since it sounded expensive). Long story short, it was an expensive fix and I never got any other bids from anyone else, so I can't tell you if I got a good price or not, but he was very responsive, very polite and seemed honest. I would definitely call him again with other appliance problems.

Scott showed up as scheduled, was professional, quick, and courteous. He was able to identify the source of the failure of the refrigerator to provide cold air. He was not able to perform the specific needed repair (compressor issue) but referred me to someone who could do it.

I didn't even end up using Scott's services and I'm still leaving a review because of how impressed I was. I was calling around and getting quotes to have someone come out and take a look at my dryer, it had been running only lukewarm air for a few days after the dryer vent had been cleaned. Scott was the only person I talked to out of maybe 10 who didn't rush me, didn't try to press an appointment me. He calmly answered all of my questions, gave me a few tips over the phone, and told me that if I ended up working with him, he could just order a lot of parts for my brand dryer so he could do the repair same day, and I would only be charged for the parts I ended up needing. He also didn't have a diagnostic fee, kindly walked me through finding the model # of my dryer to send to him, and was very flexible with my schedule for a potential appointment. It ended up being a quick fix that we could do ourselves, but I was so impressed by Scott's manner and helpfulness that I wanted to leave a review. I will gladly use Scott in the future for any appliance services!
