I contacted Pest Chase first thing in the morning about a very large wasp nest that had been built in a tree in my front yard. Sundar came out within a few hours to evaluate the nest and provide a quote. He returned that afternoon and removed the nest. After a few days, we noticed a few wasps were still hanging around the area and he came back to spray again just to make sure they were gone. Sundar was extremely professional, helpful, and prompt, and I would certainly hire Pest Chase again.

Extremely satisfied with Pest Chase. They are responsive, engaged and honest. They came out the same day I called them. Performed a house inspection that revealed a mice inspection (that we did not know of). Later that day, Sunday came back to set up bait stations and to spray the interior/exterior of the house for insect and pest control. Totally recommend their business.

We contacted Pest Chase after discovering mice in our home office. Sundar came out the same day and identified where the mice were entering our home and came up with a plan to deal with them. The next day, a member of the crew came out and laid traps and poison inside our home and out. The day after the traps were laid, we caught a mouse and did not see one after that. Ten days after laying the traps, Sundar came back to check the traps. He let us know that there was no sign of mice in the house and that the poison trap outside had been helpful in eliminating them. They will come back in three months to check and are available in the meantime. In addition to treating our mouse problem, we signed a contract for occasional pest control service as well (we got a combined discount package because we are Angie's List members). I was impressed with Sundar's professionalism, putting shoe covers on when entering our home and explaining what was happening clearly. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I would highly recommend this company for termite prevention. We moved into our new home a few months ago and in the course of doing renovations discovered tracks from previous termites in past years. We were concerned that the likelihood of termites returning was high, so we asked several companies to give us estimates for termite prevention work. Out of all of them, Sundar?s company was simply the best. He runs a smaller company, which means he takes his time to really go over your home and explain everything. A lot of the big companies send what are essentially salesmen to your home to give it a cursory look over and sell you on the most expensive stuff they can get you to bite on. I wouldn?t go so far as to call them untrustworthy, but you don?t know if what they?re pushing you toward is really what you need. For example, two sides of our house?s external walls are surrounded by a concrete patio. That means treating it for termites requires more work (ie. costs more). Several of the companies either quoted much higher prices for drilling into concrete for treatment or when we balked at the price, simply said we don?t need to treat those sides just to try to get our business. Sundar walked us through the decision process for that quite thoroughly and because we saw previous termite tracks on those sides, we decided we needed to treat it. He also works with you on price and situation. It?s not a one-size-fits-all or routine prescription with yard per price. With all the service he provided, it still wasn?t more expensive than any of the big companies that came out. The treatment we had done was getting a chemical barrier injected into the dirt around the house, as well as drilled and injected into parts of our foundation. Because he runs his own company, the service on the day of the treatment was phenomenal. Sundar arrived when he said he would. Was very thorough in his work. Called to give updates and make sure certain things were okay, like using our bathroom halfway through the day or connecting his hose to our water line (to spray the treatment) was okay. I felt pretty good at the end of it all, which was surprising. With an issue like termites, it?s not a problem until it?s a problem. And ?termite prevention? can seem like such an ambiguous thing, like throwing your money into a future thing that you don?t know whether or not it will payoff. But given the work, thorough explanation and options given by Sundar and the professional nature with which he approached the work, I feel pretty good about the work we paid to have done. No hesitations in recommending him highly.

My contract for Pest management at my house was up for renewal so after my 1st experience using Pest Chase for a previous job, I called Sundar and arranged an appointment for inspection and treatment . As before he arrived on time and took great pains to explain to my wife what he would be doing, and then proceeded with the job. I now have a new provider signed up for a year of service and many more. As with the condo, the overall service and attention to detail was exceptional. I needed to get some pest control work done in a condo in Alexandria VA. I am in Ellicott City, MD so I absolutely wanted someone who was reliable and punctual. I did some searching and found Pest Chase on Yelp as well as Angie's list. Being a Angie's list subscriber for more than 12 years starting in California and now continuing in Ellicott City I could trust the reviews and ratings. I called Pest Chase and received a very prompt response in less than 15 minutes. We agreed on a date and time when I would meet Sundar at the condo. Even though he gave me a 2 hour window, he arrived within the 1st 40 minutes. What I appreciated most was the regular communications and text messages to give me status. He did the inspection and then the treatment and the work was done very well and professionally. The price was very reasonable for what was needed BUT the overall service and attention to detail was exceptional. I would highly recommend Sundar and his company

I am a licensed real estate professional and I needed a wood destroying insect inspection for a settlement that we needed to push earlier than scheduled. I called Mr. William on a Sunday afternoon for an urgent inspection. He was able to schedule an inspection for the next morning. As he promised, he arrived on time and take care of the inspection and provided me the report that same morning.

Mr. William came to my house within a couple of hours of my call! He appreciated my problem as he uses Integrated Pest Management, an approach which uses the least toxic material if at all possible. He wore his bee suit and sprayed a combination of rosemary, mint, and, thyme oils into the nest hole, then followed that with food grade diatomaceous earth placed at the entrance. I wasn't expecting immediate results and, in fact, it did take about a week before I saw no more activity at the nest hole. My fish stayed healthy and the wasps were eliminated. The day after the treatment Mr. William called to follow up and see how things were going. I could not have been happier with his professionalism, his customer service, and the results. I would recommend him highly.

We had an emergency situation on a Sunday and the company owner - Sundar - responded immediately that day. That was a relief since we did not think we would be able to sleep that night without knowing the source of the problem. And most companies do not respond on the weekends. Sundar was courteous, professional and knowledgeable and calmed us down considerably. He was respectful towards us and also careful about entering the premises with his shoes (which he offered to remove). He inspected the property and immediately identified the problem areas. We purchased not only one-time inspection services but ongoing quarterly services because we felt this was the best course of action even if the pest problem was nonrecurring. The owner did not pressure us into purchasing the services which made us feel better; and we also verified that he was insured and had the necessary experience. Sundar was able to return the next morning. He was very flexible in responding to our requests and patiently answered all of our multiple questions without any reservation. He secured the entry points into the home with his own equipment and tools and gave us peace of mind. He has also been very responsive to follow up questions via email. Overall, this has been a good experience.

He came over about an hour after I called him in the evening. I had a Yellow Jacket nest I wanted to get rid of. He was very friendly, and took care of the Yellow Jackets quickly. I am very happy with his work.

I called Pest Chase and asked if they could do a termite inspection . They responded almost immediately and scheduled the same day. The service was extremely professional. I would highly recommend them.

I bought a home built in 1978 that had been ignored by the previous owner, but not by termites. This was discovered in the large storage area upon removal of a suspended ceiling and fiberglass insulation. After consultations with 3 structural engineers, it was apparent that one of my steps was to seek termite control after fixing the structural integrity of my new home. From Angie?s list I read about a number of pest control specialists in the area and contacted Pest Chase. A number of contractors were lined up to provide their assessments and estimates. After meeting with Sundar, all others were cancelled. Why: He took the time to patiently explain what had happened to my home and that it could be fixed. He explained that he had seen much worse. He took a large amount of time to explain what he was going to do and how and when he was going to do it, and why. He explained that not only was he the owner of his firm, but that he performed the work himself. He told me about his training and that his family had been in this business for many years. His costs were fair and there were no hidden upcharges. He really enjoys his work. This was all before he started actually working my home to rid it of termites. When he returned, weather permitting, Sundar : Spent hours prepping the ground around my home. He would stop and explain what and why he was doing something if I asked and would question me about certain plants and if they needed to be moved. Once this prep work was completed, he alerted me that he was about to start pumping solution and the precautions that were involved. He discovered that there were different soils around my foundation, so plans were made to come back with a solution formulated for those soil conditions. He worked again for hours getting the solution just right around the foundation and getting the soil back to its original position. He made me feel like I was his only customer He then came into the home and applied ?green? products (after consulting with me and my pet concerns) for some other pest issues. Sundar then followed up with phone calls to see if everything was to my satisfaction. He sent termite literature, with my consent, via e-mail about possible swarming even after treatment so as to avail any concerns should this happen in my home and to call him immediately should I see this normal activity. A note about contacting Sundar ? if you call him, he will promptly return your call. Am I pleased to have Pest Chase and Sundar protecting my home from further termite damage and other unwanted pests? I couldn?t be happier.

Analyzed an ant infestation, outdoors on the perimeters. Studied dead insects and determined that they were not termites, but ants. Treated outside perimeter and inside with "Green" pesticides, solving the problem. Eliminated ant inside and outside. Performing quarterly treatments over the year, and ants have not been seen since initial application. Sundar is very knowledgeable, patient and informative. We highly recommend him.

We moved in to our new house a few weeks ago and were shocked to see hundreds of spiders in our backyard as well as in the basement. We called Pest Chase, and they were able to schedule an inspection and service the same day. We noticed many dead spiders around the basement on the same day the service was done. We also have signed up quarterly visits. Since we have young kids, they gave us the option to use green products for the same price. We have contracted with few pest control companies in the past, but Pest Chase excellent customer service and quality is very good compared to the other companies. We would highly recommend their service to everyone.

Mr. Sundar called me very soon after my inquiry on Angie's list. He came out later afternoon same day, and he did an initial investigation. He gave us his recommendations and provided options of when he could complete the work. He then offered to do the work same day. He came back in the evening, placed 5 or 6 bait stations and added steel wall into vulnerable areas of our exterior. He provided excellent customer service and seemed very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Pest Chase.

I scheduled the appointment for 5 o'clock and he did end up coming on time. He came and started right away. He made holes in the ground of the perimeter of my house in order for the solution to seep deep into the ground. Then he did one more walk-over from the outside in case he missed anything. Then he walked in the house and went to work from the interior. He mentioned the spray was a "green product" solution for the interior and it is "kid-friendly". The company was an overall good experience. I previously had a treatment session with a big brand company called Terminix and that experience wasn't nearly as good as this company. He took 3 hours for a thorough treatment session while Terminix only took 30 minutes for a somewhat sloppy job. I highly recommend this company because of the excellent customer service and product.

Sundar, the owner, is the epitome of professionalism. He was very responsive, provided green and non-green options, and took care to ensure that the service provided was what we wanted and safe for our household. I would use his service again!

I called to have a large hornet nest removed from my tree, approximately 2 feet by 2 feet. The nest was in a difficult location, about 30 feet up and away from a main branch. Since I noticed the nest I have not allowed my kids to play in the yard. I found Pest Chase on Angie's List, and due to their reviews decided to email them. Sundar was very responsive; he replied to me email within a few minutes, and we set up time for him to take a look later that evening. He gave me an estimate and I told him I would call him back. After calling other companies, Pest Chase provided the best value, as most of the other companies would not even do the job. I called Sundar back a week later to schedule his services. He was very prompt and was able to fit me in his schedule later the same afternoon. He set up a 26 foot ladder against the tree and was able to exterminate the hornets? nest. He also followed up with 2 days later to ensure that his work was satisfactory. It's been about a week and the hornets have not returned. My kids are happy they can play in the yard again. I highly recommend Pest Chase for your extermination needs.

We haven't had any issues with bugs in the house after using the "green" products! And the bees are gone! The owner offered to come back and remove the wasp nest if we wanted, but it ended up falling on its own

The company does excellent work. They are prompt in their response. My parents used them as well and were pleased with the results. They treated our home for pests, both rodents and insects using green products. They also are very through with their inspection and very prompt in their treatment. We have definitely noticed a difference with Pest Chase. We would recommend the company highly.

They were professional, courteous, and efficient. They were prompted to responding to my call. They went out of their way to come to my home in the evening at 8pm. They were thorough and had thorough knowledge of pest and correctly identified my problem. They clearly explained the diagnoses and the environment they created was with a friendly approach. They took appropriate steps to eliminate the pest problem. They were really remarkable. Based on the exceptional qualities of the company I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends, neighbors, and any person in need of pest control service. For the services rendered their prices are very good.

5/6/2014: No Service requested after being told the cost of the service. 5/15/2014: OWNER CALLED AND BASHED ME AND VERBALLY ATTACKED ME ON THE PHONE REGARDING MY RATINGS ON HIS PRICE. THEREFORE, I UPDATED MY REVIEW TO INCLUDE THE TRUE GRADE HE DESERVES.

They have been great. I like that the owner was very personable and he does not make you have a contract. He is honest. He had two options for us.

Sundar was great - came right away and did a thorough inspection. From the time of my first call to the completion of his trap setting - 2 hours!! Awesome job!! Then he actually CALLED ME to see how the traps were working and came to check them free of charge! I decided to sign up for his full inspection service - very reasonable - and because I am not comfortable with harsh pesticides, he is using GREEN PRODUCTS!!! Cannot say enough good things about this man or his company. You call - he comes. If you have an rodent or pest worries? CALL SUNDAR. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

I met Sundar when a friend of mine was getting his home treated. Ever since fall began, I realized there is mice activity inside my home. Caught 3 using glue traps. These are field mice and as winter is approaching, I thought there will be more coming. I called Pest Chase and set up an appointment for inspection and found out that there has been activity going on in basement and under the sink in the kitchen. They explained me in detail what they are going to do since this type of treatment needs a follow up service, we went ahead and signed the contract. So far very satisfied with the company's responsiveness and knowledge. Will highly recommend them for anyone out there looking for the service. I will watch out how this treatment goes and am willing to continue their service in future for the great customer service they have.
