Nova Exteriors repaired the door frame, closure, and sweeps in addition to replacing the door. All the extra perks reduced energy waste (AC and Heat bleed from interior to exterior) and lowed the electrical bill. Thank you.

The installers did do a great job and gave a good run down on everything. Looking forward to having a better insulated door for this upcoming winter. Everyone who scheduled, sales, measurements guys and installers, showed up on time, this company was on, polite, cleaned up and worked quietly for approx 4 hours. Their contract does not give a break down for time and materials and is difficult to read. This is very unfortunate. The door, I believe, is $700 and the total was $2750. Where do the other costs come from? Was labor over $2000? And I didn't see the discount coupon listed on Angie's List for $150. Definitely feel a little naive for not getting another quote or at least requesting a breakdown. Everyone seems happy, but I do feel like some improvements can be made in their contract and providing a breakdown - which I guess I am used to with dealing with other contactors.

The representative from Nova arrived and we felt immediately comfortable. He listened and asked pertinent questions. He let us define our needs and then expertly matched us to a premier door. The craftsmen who installed the door were exemplary. With little intrusion, they replaced our door to perfection. The entire experience was superior.

I liked that they were prompt. Making the appointment was easy. But as far as the estimate, he tried to upsell a lot of stuff, when I told him exactly what I was looking for and willing to spend. The interaction went not so well. He was looking around at a lot of pictures in my bedroom. It was too personal. The estimate was very detailed. I had a little bit of issue with the estimate. In Virginia, there is a law for how big the window has to be and whether the bottom half has to be child-proofed or not. So I had contacted four other window companies and researched the law by calling the city myself, and this is the main reason why I decided not to use him. He was telling me that the city inspector told him we had to use this certain type of widows, and was trying to up-sell me things that I didn't need. They were great with punctuality and the ease in making the appointment but they need to work on personality.

I contacted NOVA Exteriors for a strong basement door after I broke the existing door when it could not be properly closed (warped). A very knowledgeable salesman came immediately and measured us for a specially cut (shorter than normal) steel door; it was pricey. BUT, the talented and capable men who later came to install the new door did an amazing job. They had to take special care to build a unique threshold treatment for our 90 year old home in DC. Now we have a strong door, it insulates, it is quiet, it is so very much improved over the flimsy previous door. Besides, this company was on time, polite, cleaned up and worked quietly right along for more than 4 hours. I was very impressed. Thank you for a great job....worth the money!!

All went smooth. A couple of tiny items needed attention (grouting on the brick) but they took care of it promptly.

Great!! Arrived on time and finished on time despite surprise heavy rainfall. Covered our furniture. Cleaned up every single trace of mess from removing the old windows. Very, very professional and pleasant to work with. Separate team for installing windows and doors. Respectful of our skittish kitty. Really from sales to installation and follow up we had a fabulous experience. This can be an expensive project. While Nova Exteriors was not the lowest cost option, having done a lot of research we got a competitive price for superior product and installation. A+ in every way.

No estimate or work was done. ****They would not make an appointment with me - said my husband or partner must be here too- for an estimate!! What day and age do we live in? SEXIST and DISCRIMINATORY. I am the owner of this home AND I sign the contracts, pay the bills and improvements. I am offended and will not do business with this company ever.

They did a great job, came on time, were within budget, and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job and finished in a timely manner. The reason we went with this company over anyone else was due to the salesman's professionalism. We were very pleased.

There were complications and it lingered on for four months. The initial installers cut corners and they were very sloppy. They had to do some caulking and the caulking was third rate. They left a mess on the front stoop that another person had to come and clean up. I had side lights put in this door and one of them had a small dent in it and one of the initial installers didn't mention it. I had to have the side light replaced so they had to pull the whole door apart because of the way it comes and re-do the entire door. That took a couple of months. It took longer to get the side light from them and get in installed than the initial door and side lights. I would never use them again. They had to come out and fix things over time. They had cancelled two times on the same day. The owner of the company was professional.

They were very professional and kept me on the phone with everything that was going on. Nova Exteriors Inc covered everything that they needed to cover. Any questions were answered. I think the price was fair for what they're quoting. My experience for the estimate was good. For responsiveness, I think they were out within a day or two if I remember correctly. They were on time.

From start to finish it was an easy process. They understood that we had to wait to get approval from our HOA and once we did, we had the door installed within 5 weeks. They arrived early and did a flawless job, leaving our house in perfect condition. You would never have known we had work done. We could have gotten it a little bit cheaper with Home Depot or other big box stores, but it would not have been as easy of a process and we wouldnt have gotten the same installation warranty. We did shop around a littel bit and their prices were very fair. Everyone we worked with was very nice and helpful. would definitely hire them again.

The work was great but I thought the price was really high. The workers were really good and they left the place clean. The whole thing was professional.

My house is 100+ years old with lots of old wood trim. I had a very hard time finding someone who would be able to replace my front door (damaged in a break-in) while maintaining the look of the house. Nova Exteriors was great, they understood what I wanted to do and went out of their way to make it happen. Installers showed up on-time (few minutes early even) and spent the time necessary to make sure the door looked right and matched everything. I was worried that the new door would look out of place but they really made it work. Great communication, great work, love them.

Everything was perfect from Bob the salesman to Mr. Kim and his team who installed them. Their prices were fair and the quality of the product and service was perfect.

We could not do the project at this time. Sadly, the plumbing pipe we thought would have to be moved turned out to be a structural support beam. By the time I coordinated the plumber visit at which I learned I didn't have a plumber issue, I was technically two days late to cancel my contract. Nova Exteriors hadn't cashed my deposit and just threw away my check. I appreciate very much the extra "grace period." Adding a window is going to require relocating some upper cabinets and perhaps my cooktop, but when I get around to doing that, and figuring out how to work around any other support beams, I will DEFINITELY use them to install the windows. I had a window added to my last house, about 10 years ago, and this is roughly what I paid then, so I thought the price was terrific and the window they proposed seemed to be very nice quality.

The door lived up to the salesman's description. The installers were prompt, courteous and very professional. They fussed and fussed and fussed over the installation, making sure that the unit fit perfectly. They replaced the interior door trim, and put matching aluminum cladding around the exterior trim edge. Their clean-up was very thorough. They cheerfully answered any questions I had. The experience couldn't have been better.

It went perfectly. Smooth, professional, responsive, and fast. The windows are beautiful. They were installed in the middle of winter and my family was able to immediately appreciate the improved insulation. From management to the installation crew, the entire team was very professional and competent. I will definitely use them again for any home improvement project.

We used Nova Exteriors in the past to replace our front door and were so impressed by the service and quality that when we decide to replace some windows we called them again. The windows were over 40 years old and long in need of replacement. The process was smooth from start to finish. The installers did a fantastic job and left no trace of dirt or debris. The new windows are wonderful. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future for anything other work we need done.
