+ 3 moreNotting Hill Gardens work is best summarized as and quot;masterfuland quot;. NHG's expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail and deadlines was refreshing and admirable. I will work with no other contractor/landscaper from this point on. I have recommended NHG to many of my closest friends who have also had very good experiences with this company. I found Notting Hill Gardens to be honest, expert, and quite pleasant to work with on a daily basis. Worth every penny. I think NHG cared, and still cares, about my house every bit as much as I do.
Description of Work: After an extensive remodel that was left unfinished....the most challenging part of which involved grading, drainage, city permits, and retaining walls...Notting Hill Gardens, a Class A contractor and landscape design firm, appeared on the scene. Notting Hill Gardens took a nightmare scenario and turned it into a dream home. NHG thoroughly reviewed the blueprints and house, audited the siding, windows, retaining walls and drainage as well as met with City of Alexandria inspectors and myself to resolve all remaining issues. NHG saw this house to completion and solved very difficult problems related to grading and drainage. I can't emphasize enough the challenges. Having fixed all the structural problems, Notting Hill Gardens was then able to work their magic on the landscaping -- building top quality stone and timber retaining walls, installing gorgeous landscaping lighting, and finally planting healthy robust gardens front and back.

+ 1 moreThey were very responsive to all the things that we wanted and were willing to talk to us. They also showed up on a Saturday to plan what has to be done the following week. Their work was high quality and their price was fair for the amount of work they did here.
Description of Work: I used Notting Hill Gardens for landscaping work. They did all the planting in my garden and got things ready for the spring time, they shut us down from the winter season, checked all the watering systems and so forth.
