Carlo's crew, including himself and his wife, have been working on our house for almost 5 years now...We trust him and his crew implicitly...They always do a great job and are amenable to your needs. Carlos has accepted electronic payments and can be contacted via phone and text. He always gives us notice when he will be coming and what time and does his darndest to be flexible. They do a thorough job of cleaning including floors, blinds, sofas, garbage, carpets, and hardwood floors including light dusting. He will use your cleaning agents if you prefer. I believe his pricing is fair. We really like that he tries to keep the same crew for the house so they know are nuances. Highly recommend his company for thorough and reliable services.

They are excellent cleaners, very professional and courteous, trustworthy, pay attention to details, arrive on time, seek and welcome customer feedback, are flexible to accommodate customer special cleaning requirements, and continuously strive for customer satisfaction. Nice and Clean does a great job, they are always prompt and send a reminder the night before. Carlos makes it very easy to communicate. I have had several maid services and they are the best!

I love Nice and Clean because it is truly a small, local business that supports its employees, in addition to doing a great cleaning job. Husband and wife-owned, and they often accompany the crew and participate in the cleaning. Impeccable English and very customer service focused, always asking for feedback on how they can improve services. The hard-working women that work for Nice and Clean are excellent cleaners, and they have been with the company for years. There is very little to no turnover. They take pride in their work, and they are consistently thorough. Always professional and nice. If they see anything of concern (leaky toilet, something broken), they will notify you and fix it if they can.

An overall quality and timely job of cleaning my apartment. They didn't cut any corners and I never asked for anything a second time. They get it and do a very professional job.

They cleaned our townhouse and the oven. Carlos came the day before and sprayed the oven. The day of the cleaning went perfectly. I set up a bi-weekly cleaning. It's such a great feeling once they have been to clean. Carlos also followed up to see how the cleaning went. Carlos and Isabella speak english, so there is no language issue, as I noticed in reviews for other cleaning services. They have come several times now and I appreciate their work! Would highly recommend.

Carlos and his team did a great job. It is clear that Nice and Clean takes pride in their work, and despite the fact that this was my first cleaning (and so there was a lot more dirt to clean!) they cleaned everything thoroughly and efficiently. My home looks great. I will be having the Nice and Clean team perform my regular cleanings going forward. Communication on scheduling the cleaning is also very easy.

We had given up on cleaning services because they had become more of a hassle to manage than to clean ourselves. Then, Carlos and Isabel were recommended to us by friends. We gave them a try before the Christmas holiday season and we have been hooked since. Besides the fact that they do excellent work at a reasonable price, we have been impressed and appreciative of their excellent client service when it comes to scheduling cleaning dates, confirmed text messages and punctuality. They have been a delight to work with and we highly recommend them to others.

After trying several cleaning services in the area, we've finally found a keeper! Nice & Clean's owner, Carlos, is a dependable, effective, and highly engaged professional who runs a great business. If you're looking for a new cleaner, I strongly recommend trying out this service. My wife and I live in a 1300 square foot townhouse in Old Town, Alexandria. Over the past few years, we've had several other cleaners perform monthly services in our house, and with each cleaner we've come away disappointed. We left two of them because they simply weren't doing a good job (visible dust/dirt that we felt should've been cleaned, every time) and we left a third because of bad customer service (refused to take responsibility after putting a giant scratch in our original hardwood floor). After reading positive reviews of Nice & Clean on Angie's List, we decided to give it a try. To start, Carlos came to meet me for a walkthrough of my house. I was immediately impressed with his focus on customer service. instead of a routine, impersonal description of what his service includes, Carlos wanted to know what was most important to us and how he could make sure we were satisfied with his crew's work. We had a great walkthrough and signed up for a first cleaning the following week. Here's something you don't get with a lot of cleaners: Carlos texted me himself on the day before the cleaning to confirm our availability and texted again on the morning of the cleaning with an exact time of arrival--and he came with the crew himself exactly one minute before he said he would. The cleaning went very well--Carlos had remembered every note I gave him during the walkthrough, and his crew performed a much-needed (and very effective) deep cleaning of the house. After our initial cleaning, we signed up for monthly service. Carlos has continued to be extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. Our follow-up cleaning went faster than Carlos had expected, so he offered to deduct $10 from his already reasonable quoted price (without me even asking). Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Carlos's great work and we will continue our monthly service with Nice & Clean. If I had anything negative to say, trust me, I would (and will update this review if our experience changes)--but for now, we are thrilled to have finally found a reliable and reasonably priced cleaner.

Nice & Clean has been cleaning my house for at least 6 months or more now and it's going very well. They do a thorough job with cleaning and are always on time and polite and there are usually a team of 3. . Carlos is very flexible when I need to rearrange a date which is much appreciated. He also texts confirmation with the estimated time of arrival. I plan to continue using this company for a long while.

Carlos and Isabel are the owners of Nice and Clean. They have been cleaning our home for many years. They are honest and have integrity, they treat my home as if it were their own. The ladies they work with are extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. They are always flexible when I had to change the day of cleaning due to unforeseen circumstances. Truly, truly nice people.

Very pleased with the service they provide. I've had other cleaning services and while they were okay - Nice & Clean does a terrific job. The girls come in and go right to work.

Nice and Clean do a wonderful job taking care of cleaning my home. My previous housekeepers had not been doing a good job for some time and it was time for a change. From the very first visit, Carlos and his team have worked hard to make my home sparkle once again. They pay attention to all of the details - large and small, and will try different techniques to get better results. The Nice and Clean team work quickly, carefully, and are the best I've worked with in years. I'm so glad I found them and am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a superior cleaning service!

My previous cleaning team (that I had used for over 10 years!) just never returned one day so I was in a lurch. I'd checked around but was leery of using just any cleaning service. I try to do my due diligence but you never know. I asked my neighbor who uses them if she would recommend. She said overwhelmingly yes. I gave them a try and have never looked back!

We used Carlos and his wife, Isabella for nearly 8 years while living in Northern Virginia. One thing we especially liked was that either Carlos or Isabella would accompany the cleaning crew each time they came to our home to clean. They were fabulous with our very large, vocal dog who liked to greet them each time they arrived. The work was always thorough and the dusting included the ceiling fans and the blinds as well as pictures and all surfaces. The vacuuming included the master closet and the area rugs. The tile floor on the main level was always clean, which was a chore with kids and dogs. Carlos was also very good at pointing out areas where maintenance was needed (cracked grout, missing caulk) before it caused huge problems. Our daughter developed a heart condition and they were always very sensitive to her needs and restrictions. Additionally, if the teacher's who came to our home had to change their schedule, then Carlos was always very willing to accommodate our needs. It made a stressful situation so much better! When we were remodeling our house, they worked through the construction project and when we were moving, we had them help with lots of extra things to get the house ready to show. They also did the final cleaning after we moved out and did a fabulous job. We only had a few minor issues in all of the years and each time I would raise them to Carlos and they were taken care of immediately. They were absolutely fabulous to work with.

I contacted Carlos a few weeks ago and he came over to look around and to give me an estimate. He is extremely conscientious as he asked me many times what I liked and what I didn't like and wanted to know my preferences with cleaning supplies, etc. He came over with 2 staff today to clean-- he was prompt and courteous. Since I have animals and wanted to be here, he occasionally asked about particular issues. They did a thorough job with cleaning, particularly the bathrooms. I also liked that he communicates via text messaging versus the back and forth with calling. I will definitely use his service in the future and recommend his company wholeheartedly.

They don't do the windows. They're willing to change linens but we don't ask that of them. We've been using them for about 2 years now. They get in to all the nooks and crannies. I don't find places that they're missing when I look through the house. They do a very thorough job. They're very careful. One of the owners, Carlos or his wife, Isabel goes here to oversee. He keeps a close eye on things. Carlos is very good about communicating and leaving open channels of communication. He wants to know if there's anything he could do differently. He texts me if they have to make any adjustments. He also lets me text him if I want to say about doing some things differently. He's not offended. He just wants to know.

Carlos and Isabel, and their fabulous Nice & Clean staff, have been cleaning our 3-level townhouse every other week for about 5 years or so. They came highly recommended to us by my parents, who have been using their services for 20+ years. The team always arrives right on time and is courteous, professional and very friendly! On the extremely, extremely rare occasion that we have had any type of concern or question, it has been addressed and remedied immediately! We have a 3-level, 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom townhouse with hardwood floors throughout the main level and 2 sets of hardwood stairs ... nothing is ever overlooked. The floors shine and the bathrooms and kitchen sparkle! The furniture is clean, and everything is dusted to perfection. They even clean our glass storm door inside and out. We have a 60 pound dog and they are always very nice to him and clean his bed and clean all of his nose prints off the windows and glass doors! Even though we don't request it, Carlos and Isabel always try to adjust their schedule to clean our house as close to a major holiday as possible, even if it is not our regularly scheduled day. They always make sure our home is extra clean before and after the major holidays, and we appreciate that so much! They pay attention to detail and always have nice things to say. Whenever we have gotten new furniture or new carpet or updated our paint, they always notice and are full of compliments. The Nice & Clean team is also very trustworthy. Although I work from home now, they have a key to our house and I do not feel like I need to be home when they are doing our cleaning. If I am not there while they clean, the door is always locked when I return home, and a big smile appears on my face when I walk into my freshly cleaned home. They cleaned our home recently the day after I had some surgery and focused on cleaning the entire upper floor first so that I could retreat up there while they cleaned the rest of the house. I appreciated that so much! I highly, highly recommend Nice & Clean ... you won't be disappointed!!

Excellent. We have been using this company on an ever other week basis for the past 20+ years with nothing but a few minor complaints, which were immediately addressed. Carlos Villanueva and his staff are courteous, on time and thorough.

Nice and Clean is an excellent service. They are thorough, conscientious, considerate, honest and fair. They have gone above and beyond a typical service provider for us. Our very nervous dog had a large accident once upon their arrival and not only did they clean it all up, they were truly concerned about our dog. They have been flexible when we have had to change days, and they do an excellent job at cleaning! We use them from 2005-2013 and only stopped because we moved. Highly recommend!

Nice and Clean have worked for our family for at least 20 years. They are so dependable, honest and such a hardworking group of people. We do not know how we would have manage thru all these years without them...They have always been fair with their price's. They have always been on time and if they find a penny, it would be sitting on your counter when you arrived home...You can feel comfortable talking to them about any concerns or changes you might want to make, such as changing the day they are coming because you are entertaining a large group and you want things" just right" before your guest arrive...I try not to take them off their scheduling, but they are always willing to work things out for their clients...They have always been respectable and upbeat when arriving at our home. I have recommended them to many of my friends and neighbors, My feedback was "Highmarks" For NICE AND CLEAN! THEY HAVE MY KEY TO MY HOME! I have TOTAL TRUST in them! Carlos and his team worked around my family's schedule and arrived promptly. His team of himself and 2 other ladies were in and out in about 3 hours. This was his first time in my house so the extensive cleaning was necessary after not having house cleaning continually for a while. The price was very reasonable for everything he did - subsequent normal cleanings will not need to be so extensive and the price he quoted me for subsequent visits is also very reasonable (140 for normal bi-weekly cleanings). I couldn't be happier with the work ethic and results of his team! Can't wait to have him back in 2 weeks!
