We initially contacted Nasr Electric for a problem with our main breaker panel. Joseph, the owner, came out the same day and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He took the time to explain that the type of panel in our house is not used any more, and pointed out some improper wiring that had been done during a renovation, prior to us owning the house. He recommended (without pressure) that we replace the panel at some point and quoted a discounted rate that his company was offering on Angie's List. We also asked for a price to wire four bedrooms for overhead lights/fans, and to install two new outlets for wall-mounted televisions. Joseph emailed a detailed quote within the next few days and we scheduled the work. He arrived early on the scheduled day, along with several employees. We reviewed the tasks to be completed and they got to work. The work was finished quicker than expected, and Joseph waited for me to return from work so that he could walk through everything. We found that a mistake had been made in labeling the fuses in the breaker panel, and he went through the entire house with me until we found the problem and fixed the labeling on the panel. Joseph and his employees were very friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout the process. It is nice to see the owner of a company have such a hands-on approach to their work. We would definitely use Nasr Electric in the future.

Very well. Mr. Nasr was excellent to work with, was helpful and clear in explaining everything, flexible in scheduling and in resolving questions about my generator set-up. He and his colleague provided materials, installed the switch and outside receptacle, tested them with my generator, made sure I understood how to work it, and cleaned up when departing. Swich and outside box installations were clean and neat. Real pro and pleasure to work with.

This is the second time I have used Nasr Electrics and am just as pleased as the first time. I called Nasr on a Monday to request installation of 5 overhead fixtures and one wall sconce. Joe gave me a quote over the phone and a follow up text. The team showed up right on time as scheduled the next Wednesday morning. They performed the work quickly, professionally, and cleaned up properly after they were done. Both electricians were friendly and polite. I highly recommend this company. The prices are reasonable; they do good work quickly; and, they're easy to do business with. If I need electrical work again, they get my first call.

Mr. Nasr was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. A GFI outlet had to go in a box in which a common neutral was being shared between two separate breakers. He noted that the old outlet was wired incorrectly given this setup and also needed a bigger box. He reworked the wiring, replaced the box, and installed the outlet. He answered every question I had, and I trust that the job was done right by someone who knew his stuff. If I need an electrician in the future, I'll call Nasr.

I started my project by receiving general information from VA. Dominion Power, along with information from Angie's List. I contacted four electrical companies for estimates to replace my electrical panel. Although all four companies were responsive and submitted bids, I selected NASR Electric, Inc.. Joseph Nasr went over the project with me in detail and submitted a thorough proposal. The crew of two did an excellent job. Both were professional, answered all my questions and completed the project in a timely manner. Most importantly Fairfax County signed off on the permitted project stating the work was properly wired, grounded, and neatly done. If I have additional electrical needs in the future, I will definitely give NASR Electric, Inc. a call.

We had a great experience working with Nasr Electric. Mr. Nasr answered when I called for an estimate, came out for a free estimate 2 days later, and scheduled and completed the work the following week. We were really impressed with how quickly and efficiently his team completed the work, including pulling our permits from the City of Alexandria. The job passed inspection easily and we've had no issues. We will definitely use Nasr Electric in the future!

I signed up for an Angie's List deal of $1499 for the electrical panel replacement. They came out on one day to take a look at the setup, and determined that a few more things were needed, including a ground wire connection. They sent me an estimate for the extra work, and upon my acceptance they came in the next week to complete the work. It took them about 6 hours from start to finish. Everything works and was labeled properly. They cleaned up debris and helped take away the old panel to the dump. I am satisfied with the work they performed, however, I was hoping that total cost would be below $2000.

Mr Nasr sent two men to come and install the new light the other day. They came on time and began working. Mr. Nasr arrived shortly thereafter to insure everything went smoothly. They installed not only the new light fixture and pole but also replaced all the wiring from the house. They also installed a new matching porch light I had purchased at no extra charge. All work was completed within about 2 hours and they cleaned up well. My only quarrel, and the C rating for responsiveness, is because he can be difficult to reach. He seems to be pretty busy, which is a great thing, but he could use an office person to field his calls. Mostly I sent him text messages but a couple of them went unanswered. But all in all, he's a very nice man and I am quite please with the work. I would not hesitate to recommend Nasr Electric.

Joseph Nasr runs a very efficient, timely business. I called him and 4 other electricians about a panel upgrade. He was one of two electricians to call me back the same day. He was the only electrician to come out and take a look at the work we needed that same day. He came back with a detailed quote less than 24 hours later. We also had an issue with the line into our house that needed repair. He scheduled everything with the power company and the inspector. On the day of the work, his associates Roni and Mohammed were here at 8am sharp along with the power company. Dominion power sent the wrong equipment so they said they would return later next week. As the they were repairing the line, Roni needed to remove the meter to cut power to the house.. With the meter removed, he noticed that the base was functional but damaged . He clearly explained that they could leave it, but it would be dangerous and possibly not up to code. I could see the scorch marks on the metal where the short occurred. I agreed that it needed to be replaced. Joseph again called Dominion and rescheduled everything. While Mohammed was replacing the panel i asked him about the wiring he said that everything was copper except for the 30 and 50 amp appliances. I asked him if it needed to be replaced, he said no, not according to the code. But he said the code called for copper as aluminum gets very hot and can lead to fires. I said I'd speak to Joseph (who wasn't on site for that phase of the job) about replacing it when they came back out. Roni and Mohammed finished their work within 2 hours. Joseph was in constant contact with me about the inspector, who came the next day and quickly signed off on the panel upgrade. Joseph came back out to take a look at the wiring and meter base two days after the panel was upgraded. He again came back with a quote within 24 hours. On the second day of work, a week later he was there again with Roni and Mohammed at 8am sharp. The Dominion power company reps were also very timely and professional. Everyone had their work completed within 4 hours. Joseph Nasr and his associates are truly dependable professionals. I feel very confident and safe with all the serious electrical work they did. I plan on using them in the future for all electrical work we'll need done for an upcoming remodel we're planning and would easily recommend them to all my friends and family.

Mr. Joseph Nasr is a wonderful electrician. He arrived on a Saturday when he tries to spend time with his family. He explained that his son had been ill and his wife was working that day. So, his wife told him their son was ok and please come do the work I wanted done. I have had Mr. Nasr here 3 times to do work and he always arrives on time as promised. He always has everything he needs and tries to find the easiest and least expensive way to fix the problem. He put a new ballast in the pantry light. Explained I was using the wrong fluorescent bulbs and told me the best ones to use for the fixture. He installed a 4 receptacle outlet by my desk in the garage and one on the ceiling for the garage door opener. His work was quick, efficient, and professional

Quick and efficient. Very courteous. They explained the problem to me and also discussed what steps I might be able to take to resolve it myself if it occurs again in the future.

Contractor was professional and easy to deal with. The new panels required extensive rewiring and the finished product is very well done. Contractor dealt with Dominion which was quite difficult as they had to run a new electric line to the house from the transformer which was a long process. I highly recommend them.

Crew was on time, professional and did a real stand up job! replaced an OLD 150 amp box with a new 200 amp box. Good, clean work. Highly recommend!

Everything went great from my end. They had to do more work than expected (they needed to ground the house, and add an extra box outside because of code - the distance from the meter to the electrical box inside my house was too far. This cost a little more, but it was very fair, based on the number of people working on the job). They were contentious, kind, and the work passed inspection from the city. I would certainly recommend them.

Excellent. Joseph Nasr was very responsive. My initial request was to replace and install one LED shop light and install a second switch to control all the lights in my utility area. At the last moment, I changed the request to three LED shop lights. Joseph jumped through some hoops and was able to accommodate me with only a few hours notice. He dispatched a crew of two guys: Mohammed and Amir. Mohammed was the team lead. Mohammed was polite and professional. He and I walked through the work area and reviewed in detail the work to be done. He noted that a couple a dry wall cuts may be necessary and confirmed that I was ok with that. He and Amir performed their work quietly and professionally, and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. Mohammed confirmed with me that I was happy with the work before he presented the bill. Nasr Electric is now my electrician of choice.

It went very well. They were on time and very personable. There were two of them, one was the owner. They worked very diligently and got the job done in a timely fashion and they cleaned up afterwards.

This guy is the real deal. He's efficient, knowledgeable, fairly priced and nice. After my electrician of 15+ years retired I was convinced I woudn't find a new person I'd like/respect as much. Nasr is wll on his way to being that person. PS I'm a real estate agent of 16 years and developer of 13 years-I've met ALOT of electricians so this recommendation doesn't come lightly.

I'm very happy with Nasr Electric and their services to replace our main breaker panel. They were able to fit the new panel into the existing cavity without disturbing the drywall and they also accommodated my request to upgrade to a Square D load center. After the install I had one question on something they did. Joe Nasr was very responsive and came over to explain to me their work. I'm also a DIY-er and have done several electrical projects myself so I was very impressed that Joe was gracious enough to answer other electrical questions I had that were unrelated to the work they performed. I am very happy with their services and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and/or recommend their services to other people.
