I had set up an appointment with them to come out today at noon. I had sent him a confirmation text to verify that he was going to be here Thursday at noon. When I finally got in touch with him, he said that he was to be here Friday. He argued with me for a bit until he looked back in his text messages and saw "Thursday at noon". He still didn't apologize and just said "Well.. I'm not saying it was your fault, but it's my problem. I can come out next week." I just ended up cancelling with him and going with another provider. I had tried to reach him when he was late and was calling for about 2 hours before I finally reached him.

My original appointment was rescheduled - that was the only hitch. Got a deal, so a fixed amount. NASR came out to look at what needed to be done, They charged a little extra, but everything was clearly explained. I had to get a permit but was given a choice of getting myself or paying extra for them to get it for me. I chose to do it myself but Joseph was very helpful in letting me know how to properly fill the form. (The permit does cost extra.) Day of service, NASR was on time. The work took most of the day and my electricity was out for a while. I had to have a county inspector come out to look at the work, passed with no problems. I was kind of kicking around in my head if I really needed to do this, then I could out that my cousin's fuse box caught fire (no one hurt) & am glad I had it done. All in all, a good experience.

Joseph was outstanding in every aspect of the work. He easily went above and beyond the call of duty. I don't know much (read: anything) about electric stuff but I do know good work ethic and responsiveness. That's what I got from Joseph. He's owner/operator - extremely knowledgeable - and cares about his business and his customers. He made two trips - the first, he repaired my attic fan (well, he connected it - it wasn't connected) and moved my thermostat. He was super careful not to leave a big hole or mess. These weren't big jobs, but each was in a relatively awkward space so I really appreciated the speed and effort he put forth. (Trip 1 was about $150) The second trip was just for the outdoor job. I have a new deck (ground level deck, detached from the house in the yard) and I wanted an outlet. I also wanted an outlet near my rear shed. Joseph let me dig the trenches for the wire (to save $) and he mapped out the best way to connect everything. Without getting into too many details, he "fixed" my original vision of how everything would look/work with MUCH BETTER ideas. He connected the wire directly to the breaker box and took the time to add a few pieces (not sure what it's all called - but it makes it easier to remove if we need to) that I didn't even ask for. (Outdoor job was about $550) Overall - I couldn't be happier. He was remarkably flexible with my schedule and the work. A++

This is an updated review as I was not sure if we would be able to use Nasr given the timeline for our project. We did end up working with Nasr Electric Inc, and am very happy with the work done and overall experience. To help save time and money I was able to pull the permit myself, which Joseph offered up as an option for me which was quite nice and I appreciated the forthcoming with that option for cost savings. They showed up right on time on the day to perform work. Work area was left clean and job completed in great time and to satisfaction. Joseph was professional in all interactions and very responsive to calls/texts leading up to work and afterwards with questions. Angie's deal price was great. We added a few more breakers above package deal and that additional cost was address upfront and was not an unexpected increase in total project cost.

They did a fabulous job. They get a 10 out of 10.

We bought a new dryer and when the guys came to install it they found a range outlet instead of a dryer outlet. They could not finish the install...after a week of laundry build up we were in desperate need of that dryer so we frantically called to find someone who could come and do the work for us today. Joseph Nasr was in his car so had to call us right back, which he did. He came out about an hour later and installed the outlet we needed. The price was a bit high but sometimes you pay for convenience. We will definitely keep his card for future electrical jobs.

Awesome. I found Nasr electric on Angie's list and phoned them around 9:00 in the morning. He said they could do the work but would be later that day. Beyond my expectations, he came around 4:00 that afternoon. Replaced all the smoke alarms quickly and efficiently. Was very pleasant and accommodating

Joseph Nasr is an honest, competent and dependable electrician. It was very easy to schedule an appointment with him, he arrived promptly and was courteous and straightforward. He installed a new GFI outlet in our crawl space that is well under 3 feet-- not an easy task due to its undesirable location. He replaced our two outdoor porch lights, and also repaired an outdoor outlet that was dangling from a cord. His rates are very reasonable. He initially quoted me $225 for the projects, but then only charged me $200 because it didn't take him as long as he expected! We would highly recommend using Nasr Electric.

We called the night before and Nasr Electric was able to come out first thing the next morning. Since we were having an open house the next day, it was important to have someone come quickly. They we prompt, professional, and took care of the job. We will definitely call them again!

The work on the box was fine. There were some communication issues. They also left electrical trash.

I took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal offer. Joseph Nasr, the owner, personally handled everything related to the panel upgrade. He made arrangements for the Permit and was willing to schedule the upgrade for a Saturday, fitting it into my schedule. He and his assistant arrived on time and immediately went to work to assess what needed to be done and identifying any problems. He was able to find solutions to the tight fitting of my electric meter which was jammed between my deck and fencing. (The meter and panel was original to my 40+ year old townhouse before the fences and deck were built some time thereafter and rebuilt over the years.) At the time of the order, Mr. Nasr indicated that the installation should take about six hours ... and six hours it was. I was amazed at how much work was necessary to upgrade the panel, rewire the panel, install new circuit breakers and install the new grounding rods. He also checked out electrical service to every part of the house to identify each of the circuit breakers. Except for the tight fitting mentioned above and finding that the electrical cabling to the meter was almost burned through, there were no surprises or disappointments. The quality of the work and the workmanship was outstanding. I am extremely pleased to have my home electrical service up to code. I strongly recommend Nasr Electric for your home electrical needs.

They did a very good job. They were supposed to get back with me, and didn't do it, but he went on vacation and he forgot. Other than that, he did a very good job. They were very professional, the best.

It went very well. NASR and team were very punctual and professional. The estimate for work was on the mark with the invoice. They spent a full day and partial second day to complete the work. The panel replaced was older and therefore took some effort, but NASR was up to the task. I would highly recommend NASR for any electrical work.

Everything went beautifully. They had to reschedule once but were very accommodating with the new date and time. They were extremely professional and upfront with everything they were doing. Everything looked good and worked well when they were done. I personally would not have know if it was a good job or not because I know nothing about this kind of work. However, I had this done because of a kitchen and bathroom remodel that were coming up and I didn't want to run into any electrical issues. The contractor that did my kitchen commented on the quality job that was done and even the county inspector commented on what a nice job they did. I am very happy with Nasr Electric and will definitely use them again.

He arrived within his timeframe and he was was professional and friendly. He made suggestions as to the height of the pendants and how low to hang the ceiling fan. All my work had pre-installed wiring prior to calling NASR. I have already a new project in mind for his future return. The price was was more than reasonable to me. I am very pleased with the work he performed.

I am not going forward with my remodeling projects until late Summer.

Nasr Electric?s crew did an amazing job for us ? from pulling the permit to a full-house safety inspection and, of course, all the electrical work in between. We had them install a manual transfer switch for emergency power, which they did with relative ease. The larger job was to put in a 200-amp entry panel to replace the 100-amp one in our nearly 70-year-old house. They encountered a potential fire hazard with the outside wiring while hooking up the new meter, and immediately called the power company to come on an emergency basis to correct it. The crew had estimated a workday of 5-6 hours, which stretched into several more as a result of the wiring dilemma, but were patient and professional throughout. We recommend Nasr Electric wholeheartedly and would not hesitate to use them again.

Great service. Punctual, made suggestions for consolidating circuits, clean -- all went very smooth.

After failing to receive a call back as promised, after calling again I finally met with the electrician to get an estimate. While I was assured by the seeming professionalism and competence of the electrician, the added costs for what I though was a relatively routine job totaling $750, was significantly more than I expected.

Joesph was punctual, responsive, knew what he was doing, walked me through the repair, and resolved my problem. He deserves to continue to be on Angie's list. NASR will continue to be my list of excellent contractors.
