Description of Work: Representatives from the company made a site visit to my property to review the work I wanted done and to give an estimate for the job. The estimate was very fair and we scheduled the job. They arrived on time on the scheduled start date and completed the work the same day. (Removed a large tree and various other pruning and total clean up)

Description of Work: Tree removal.

Description of Work: They never showed up for the appointment I scheduled. They have not made any contact since I spoke with them. I was present before an after the appointed time.

Description of Work: A large branch (six inches diameter) of a 90 feet tall willow oak in my back yard came crashing down about 50 feet. Fortunately, it fell in an area where, although close to the house, no one or structure was harmed. I interviewed four tree service companies and decided that I could not accept the risk of future such occurrences. Ed Moore came out to assess the situation and presented various options from pruning and periodic monitoring to tree removal. He was quite knowledgeable and explained everything to my rather demanding standards. I chose to have the tree removed. They were able to use a path on government property adjacent to my yard to position their crane and chipper. I watched the entire removal and it was a masterful job! The entire job from setting up to cleanup took four hours. At my request, they left an 8-foot stump with a beveled surface suitable for decorating. If removal had been done by climbers instead of using a crane, it would have taken much longer, cost more for removal, been more hazardous and might have damaged grassy areas where sections of the trunk were carried/dragged out of the yard (none of that with a chipper). As to price, they were not the lowest bid I received, but I received one bid 30% higher. Their price was about in the middle and worth every penny. I would strongly suggest getting several bids for any tree pruning or removal as these prices apparently vary widely.

Description of Work: Cut down a tree at my house and removed it plus stump. Very prompt and did a good job. I did not seek any other estimates but price seemed reasonable to me.

Description of Work: I have used Moore and Wright several times in the past and they've performed well. However, this time I am very disappointed with the company. I had an appointment scheduled and they never showed up. They called and said they were running late but never arrived and never followed up with a call to reschedule. I left a message for them to reschedule and never received a return call.
