The job was completed without any problems. The Crew was very professional and courteous. They check to make sure job was completed to our satisfaction before leaving the site. Additionally, their administrative operation was excellent and we were kept abreast with information and scheduling of service.

They did the work when they said they would. The price was reasonable.

The team worked quickly and were very polite and relatively quiet early in the morning. They performed all the work I ordered in about two hours and cleaned up well (including my firewood, which they mistook for debris). They did a lovely job with the tree trimming. There were some communications issues. They didn't show the first two appointments (they notified me the first time but not the second and did not respond when contacted). I finally rescheduled a 3rd appointment. My landscaping is always a concern with contractors and I expressed this several times to various people; I found their attitude a bit cavalier. The estimator did not say they would bring large equipment into my yard to do the work, although I asked. During the appointment I agreed they could remove a portion of my fence to gain access (and which they reinstalled nicely), and their equipment trampled my perennial bed. I believe it will mostly recover next year, but I was not expecting it. When discussing removal of a large oak tree (which they did not do), the estimator recommended that I remove all my surrounding shrubbery. I understood the reasoning, but a hot, dry summer is the wrong time to move shrubbery. Also, when I was trying to schedule the appointments, they kept telling me I didn't have to be at home for the work, which I took to mean they wanted the freedom to come and go at a time convenient to them. I understand this, but I prefer to be home with contractors. If you are concerned with your landscaping, request specific information and be there when they do the work.

The estimate was free. I just called the scheduler and told her what I needed. Since I work I wasn't able to be here when the estimator came. But he came and emailed me the estimate a few days after he came out.

Moore & Wright provided a prompt estimate that detailed our types of trees and the trimming they needed. We were scheduled within one week. They arrived, described what they would do to each tree, and then performed the work. The end result is attractive and effective. Moore & Wright took away all of the trimmings and debris. Working with them was easy and enjoyable--and they provided great service at a reasonable price.

They showed up on time with 6 men to do the job. They were on time and very professional. The large tree was by power lines and they did an amazing job working around the power lines with their crane. They cleaned up the yard before they left. I would highly recommend them. We had 3 neighbors stop by to ask the name of the company be/c they noticed what a good job they did.

We have a big Magnolia tree and a big branch came down in the snow. We thought it would have to come down and they were able to trim it up and put cable up in the tree to try to save it. I really liked the fact that they tried to save the tree. Had they said it would have to come down, I wouldn't have known any different. They were a little more expensive than other companies but my wife felt more comfortable with them being there during the workday. They showed up the day they said they would.

I called the day of the damage (a Saturday) and they responded and sent someone to evaluate and give me a bid that day. The next day (Sunday) they sent a team to take down a hemlock that had been undermined by the fallen tree and was a threat to fall on the house. We took several weeks to decide (and coordinate with a neighbor) what to do about the fallen oak. We received estimates from several other contractors and selected Moore and Wright beacuse they had been so responsive, their price was competitive, and they had done a good job on the hemlock. We agreed on a date for the work. They arrrived with a crew, did the job well and finished as promised in a day despite bad weather.

Office person very friendly and competent. Took only three days to get an estimator to the house, and the work was scheduled for only two weeks out, which was better than I expected. The estimator explained the charges and left a detailed estimate. Most importantly, the quality of the work was excellent. They did have a little trouble finding a record of my payment, but that was resolved and they apologized for the inconvenience (basically, I had to show proof that my check had cleared). It may have been my fault because I paid before they invoiced me. I would hire them again.

They were responsive and very accountable. They had allowed for three installments of payment and were very flexible with it. They didn?t ask for payment until the work was done. Some of their equipment broke a street lamp outside and they replaced it at no cost to me. My experience with them was great.

I called Moore & Wright Tree Service for an estimate on dealing with storm damage in my 3 magnolia trees. The response was quick and professional. I was provided with a detailed estimate, breaking down the work to each of the trees. I ultimately chose 2 different entities to do the work, but I would definitely call on Moore & Wright again.

On 2/24 I contacted the company and requested an estimate for taking down two trees. I was informed that someone would be available to estimate on 2/26 , and that I would be contacted. I was contacted on 2/26 and notified that no one was available to estimate that day, and they would contact me early the next week. By mid-week (3/3), having not heard back from them, I called to inquire as to my status and was informed that I would be contacted on 3/4 by an estimator. To date, I have never heard from the contractor again. To say the least I was very disappointed that this was supposedly an "A" contractor on Angie's list. I felt it was necessary to report this inappropriate treatment and unacceptable performance.

All work was completed as promised. We are very pleased and will call them back in the future.

Everything went exactly as advertised. Comapny was responsive, punctual and professional. Price was very fair, and the wood was well-seasoned. They even stacked some of the wood on an interior wood crib at my rerquest, which I appreciated.

Very pleased with the overall job. Worked quickly and efficiently. The only difficult part was getting into the driveway (steep grade) with the crane. But after watching our neighbors remove a tree just after we did, I was very please that we used a company with a crane! By far the best estimate we recieved since it includign the stump grinding. I would highly recommend.

Courteous, expeditious and professional.

Called around several places and this company was the only one who was willing to stack the wood in addition to delivering it. He arrived exactly on time, carried the wood about 30 yards from where the truck could park to where I wanted it stacked -- even in the rain. Wood was good quality hardwood, and I'm positive I got significantly more than the half cord I paid for.

We had one dead tree, for which I was getting estimates to remove. Before I could get several estimates, a storm blew through and knocked down two large healthy trees. I looked on Angie's List, and consulted a friend who had tree services. I got estimates from three services, and Moore and Wright was equal or better than the others. They also seemed much more professional, and suggested giving one additional leaning tree a chance (rather than tell me it needed to come out, like another service). Further, they gave me advice on ensuring whoever I chose was insured for tree services (some landscapers aren't covered if they deal with trees so many feet above ground). That was valuable information to have and they offered it up to me honestly, just telling me to make certain whoever I chose had proper insurance. Although they were swamped with calls (this was after a large storm in June) they came out quickly for an estimate, and removed the trees less than a couple of weeks later. They had to serve customers with trees fallen on top of houses, etc, first. When they removed the trees, they even turned off their loud equipment when they saw my husband carrying my sleeping son into our house. They cleaned everything up and stacked the wood. We'll be calling them again for some trimming and tree planting.

I called for an estimate. They came within a couple of days. Ed Moore was extremely professional and nice. He gave me a price right away and I had it scheduled for the following week.

Great work from start to finish. My son had a birthday party upcoming and the first tree service never finished a big job clearing our back yard. We dealt directly with Ed Moore who personally managed and worked the job. They finished it earlier than promised and the eyesore left by the other company is no longer. A real class act!

We called the business and asked for an estimate for cabling. Mr Moore came out a couple of days later. Mr. Moore advised us against cabling a large limb hanging over our house and advised us instead to remove some smaller limbs to lighten the major limb. We received an estimate a day or so later. A few days later I called to accept the bid and they said they would call to schedule the work. However, the crew just showed up one day without warning when no one was home. I got a call from my neighbor that they were there. They proceeded to do the work as proposed. Since we were not home, I asked them to send a bill which they did for the agreed amount and I sent them a check. I had wanted them to leave the wood for firewood but since I was not around, they hauled the wood away. I later called to get an estimate on some other tree work at my church. We set up an appointment and Mr. Moore never showed. I called and got a second appointment and again he didn't show or call.

Mr. Moore and his team were easy to work with from start to beginning. They came by the house to assess the tree, provided a timely quote and were able to schedule the work. They were considerate of the noise for our toddler (we asked them to avoid nap time).
