Excellent. First class service, but expensive.

They arrived promptly and did the following for me: - electrical inspection - installed additions to the water heaters

Neal did an excellent job. He walked me through everything that he was doing. Very professional service. We will use them again!

They were extraordinarily nice and exceeded my expectations. They were surprisingly prompt and very professional. They fixed the problem I called them for then asked if I would like an electrical inspection of the house as well and gave me a senior discount.

Dustin arrived an hour into my 4 hour service window. He was polite and extremely considerate of my home. He asked specific questions about my service needs and he provided me with all my options. As he worked he explained the process and once the work was completed he took special care with cleaning the work area. Dustin gave superior customer service. In addition to stellar electrical work, he even helped me secure the crystals on the chandelier. I am pleased with the out come as I sit and stare at my beautiful chandelier. It almost makes me forget the price tag of the service.

Typically, they are my first go to. We've had a good experience each time. They are professional, provide an estimate up front and stick to it. They are always professional and on time and communicate about their arrival time in advance.

From the office to the technicians, everything was great. A little pricier than most, but it’s well worth it for their service. They were wonderful.

Ron hung the light and was very pleasant, efficient and professional Roberto, Glen, Angel and Luis replaced three HVAC units which took over a two day time period. They were efficient, friendly, hardworking and never seemed to stop for a break at all! They were very careful of everything in the house, especially the new hardwood floors. I could not have asked for a better, more professional crew. How to use the system was explained in detail before they left. I would definitely recommend that crew to anyone!! Next Brian M. came in to handle some electrical work and again, very professional, helpful, I would look forward to him working on the next electrical project to move cable wiring.

Work went fairly well with the following significant details: 1. Primary video camera failed when trying to record possible sewer line issues and had use small less effective unit. 2. Had difficulty providing copy of video recording 3. Toilet was already removed to allow access to sewer when they M&S's arrived. They placed the toilet for me but mistakenly fail to tighten water line. This resulted in a slow leak not discovered for approx 24hrs causing damage to tile floors. Note: M&S's did promptly respond and documented incident. I I plan to contact my homeowners for repair soon 4. Estimate was not totally inaccurate just high and included work the follow-up company did not find necessary. I opinion is that M&S's was more focused on max corrective actions they could take as a result of the type problem I had as apposed to what was absolutely necessary. I was dissatisfied with their pricing. I felt that they did not explain their pricing very well or what was actually covered. Therefore the final price was a surprise.

Techs were knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. Scheduling was a breeze and no surprises. Prices were reasonable and the post work follow up exceptional. The tech actually send us a hand written thank you which really impressed me. They were also careful to keep the travel path neat.

Response was almost immediate, and the expert technician even brought a cup of hot chocolate for the freezing client! Although a second visit was needed for the "fix", it was quick and easy. So far, so good. There was no charge for either visit as the unit is just over a year old, and it was an installation kink that was unexpected, and from our perspective, no one's fault.

Called Michael and Son electricians to assess a broken light fixture and replace a bulb on a 15 foot high ceiling fixture. First, the good parts: - All personnel I spoke to whether by phone or in person were courteous, helpful, and friendly - When the electricians realized they might have a lot on their plate for the day, the dispatcher called me BEFORE the visit window (Saturday 12-4) even started, warning me they might arrive at 4-6 and asking if i wanted to wait or reschedule... which was great so I could plan my time better. Now for the bad parts - Their diagnosis of the light fixture that wasnt working was that the fixture was heating up and tripping a temperature sensor, and that if I switched to a cheaper LED light then the lower wattage should reduce the heat. This sounded fishy since I didn't hear the "click" of a typical temperature sensor, nor did the light even turn on to get hot. I tried the lower wattage and it didn't work. - Despite reminding them to bring a bulb for the high up fixture (since they had replaced it before) they claimed they didnt have one after they arrived, and quoted $160 to return to replace the bulb with an incandescent. - They suggested replacing all 4 lights with LEDs and the dimmer to support this. Sounded reasonable - The quote for replacing 4 lights with LEDs and dimmer was $1200. Wow. - So I asked for some detail (what bulbs and dimmer were we talking about) and they responded with the detail "type b 16w led bulb and single pole dimmer". Not exactly the detail I was talking about. So I bought a 10' ladder and went to see for myself. Turned out it was a regular type A bulb and double pole dimmer. I replaced all 4 and the dimmer for $130 at home depot. Maybe 2 hrs all told. I know they need to make money and that a markup is understandable... but an extra $1100 for a couple hours work? And why tell me the wrong information about what I needed? Whether intentional or incompetent, this is just not what I would expect.

He adjusted his schedule based on some meetings I had scheduled, showed up when he promised, was extremely professional and clean, very friendly, was great with our puppy, and did the work quickly and well. He was also very responsive and helpful after the primary appointment when I had a few questions about the fan. I would highly recommend M&S and Cesar Cruz in the future.

Michael & Sons is an excellent service provider, but they are not inexpensive. They are an excellent example of the saying "you get what you pay for". Excellent, prompt, on time service at a somewhat high price.

Michael & Son said they were the only ones who had the part we needed in order to make it cool in the house again which was false information.

They were very nice and showed up on time. I have a feeling they are very skilled in their work.

They were good. They were punctual and professional and we've had no issues with them.

AFTER A CHECK OF MY HEATING SYSTEM, THE REPAIR MAN TOLD ME HE WOULD PUT THE ORDER IN FOR A NEW BLOWER MOTOR. AT THE TIME OF THE VISIT THE HOUSE WAS AT 64 DEGREES. HE TOLD ME TO MAKE SURE THE SYSTEM WAS OFF AND AFTER PUTTING THE ORDER IN THE NEXT DAY, THE COMPANY WOULD CALL ME THE FOLLOWING DAY AND LET ME KNOW WHEN THE REPAIR MAN WOULD RETURN. I TOLD THE REPAIR MAN I WOULD USE MY SPACE HEATER BECAUSE IT WAS FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME AND ONLY WHEN I WAS HOME. SUSPICIOUS, I CALLED THE COMPANY THE VERY NEXT DAY WHICH WAS THE DAY I WAS TO RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE COMPANY TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THE REPAIR MAN WOULD RETURN, THEY SAID I HAD TO CALL BACK LATER. AFTER I GOT OFF WORK I CALLED THE COMPANY AGAIN ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE PART HAD TO BE ORDERED AND IT WAS COMING FROM UTAH AND IT WOULD TAKE A WEEK TO GET IT. (AT THE TIME OF THAT CALL, MY HOUSE HAD GONE DOWN TO A FREEZING 54 DEGREES AND FAST DECLINING). i CANCELLED THE ORDER AND CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY WHO CAME TO MY HOME THE VERY NEXT DAY, CALLED SEVERAL PLACES AND FOUND THE PART ON THE OTHER SIDE OF BALTIMORE, GOT THE PART AND FIXED THE PROBLEM WAY BEFORE I GOT HOME FROM WORK THAT VERY DAY. I TOLD MANY OTHERS ABOUT HOW POOR THIS COMPANY IS, BY NOT DOING IT'S BEST TO CHECK AROUND FOR SOMEONE WHO HAD THE PART IN STOCK. i WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVERY AGAIN.

Confused contract; fight to get what technician wrote up done; responsiveness from Manager Colemnan had to be relentlessly pursued. Holes punched in ceiling with random abandon. Floor in bathroom shower had to be redone before closing out.

The plumber called to say he could come earlier because of a cancellation, which was good. He checked out the faucet that I thought needed replacement and told me he just needed to change the knob that switches the water from going into the tub or coming out of the shower head. He also replaced a little screen in the sink. He did remove a shower head for free. Plumber was professional, however, I won't be using the services of this company for anything anymore....prices are exorbitant.

The work was done well. They told me before they did the work what it would cost and that was a good thing, I just felt it was a bit pricey.

They came out and said it was a free estimate. Then miscellaneous fees for various people to come out kept popping up. It felt like a bait-and-switch. I would NOT use them again. However, the repair people did excellent work and and were very professional and polite.

I am a renter and a previous homeowner who has also rented properties. Michael and Son Services does a really nice job working with the owner, who was not present during the maintenance visit. Shaw (the plumber) called 20 minutes ahead of time within the window of time agreed to by their central (and very professional) central scheduling to let us know that he would be arriving shortly. When he arrived, he placed a doormat in front of the door and was wearing booties (it was very muddy outside). When he came inside he quickly assessed the ceiling damage and then began to search for the leak. It would have been very easy to push for the most expensive and intrusive method of finding the leak (cutting into the floor / ceiling), but Shaw took his time and narrowed the potential sources of the slow, intermittent leak. Shaw determined the leak came from the toilet and offered a number of solutions at different price ranges to fix the problem while incorporating the likelihood of a large renovation into the equation. The decision was made to replace the toilet - Shaw did the work professionally and so quietly that my children were able to take a nap in the next room. He had all of the tools, equipment, and expertise on-hand and completed the work in a few short hours. Shaw also re-sealed portions of the shower and tub. After the work was completed the room looked exactly (if not better than) as when he arrived. I cannot recommend him more highly. The service's price was competitive and reflected the professionalism, timeliness, and quality of the work, materials, and supplies.

WE HAVE USED MICHAEL AND SONS FOR YEARS. WE HAVE HAD A CONTRACT WITH THEM FOR YEARS AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM. WE USE THEM FOR REPAIRS AND INSTALLATION OF ITEMS.
