Description of Work: I had 2 service calls with Michael & Sons. The first was an electrical issue. The second was a furnance check (they were having a special on this service). Both times the service technicians were punctual and professional. The company sent a photo in advance of the visit of the service professional who would complete the work. There was a mixup on the second visit, but the problem was quickly rectified by the next day. Although the price may be a little higher than other companies, I gave them an overall A ranking because in all the other areas they were great.

Description of Work: Installation of new gas dryer. And then an inspection of gas connection. All went smoothly.

Description of Work: I use Michael & Son for plumbing, hvac & electric. I love my plumber -- he's smart, nice and great at what he does. HVAC is good, and I haven't needed electrical in a whole (knock wood). I bought my HVAC thru them, and when there were a few "hiccups," by and large, the customer service was very good. They fixed the problem at no charge (warrantied).

Description of Work: I don't think that they merit all the hype. It's all high budget advertising. Now that I have some good handymen I will call them. I don't like to deal with huge corporations that go around masquerading as small businessmen. I will support small, local business from now on.

Description of Work: I need a new stove rewired since the older one was hot wired into the main electrical panel, the technician completed that job. Then started recommending additional services that I had planned for the future but ended up getting done that day.

Description of Work: We had purchased the annual maintenance plan at some point in 2013 and finally scheduled all 3 inspections - electrical, plumbing & HVAC - in early January 2014. All personnel - Matt, John & Dave respectively - were on time, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. We had been nursing the furnace motor ('86 original Lennox) over the years but the HVAC technician thought there were now cracks in the abundant rust which would mean carbon monoxide leaking. Second opinion (Edwin) confirmed this, furnace was shut down, likely way overdue. Technician provided reasonable replacement estimate, but due to us having 2-10 Home Warranty, them actually sending along a known name HVAC company, & not being able to put afford much up front, we continued along the home warranty path. Would have renewed the maintenance plan, expiring that same week, with Michael & Son, however, all inspections were complete and had insufficient funds at that point.
