Description of Work: Annual inspection and fix two (2) HVAC systems, two (2) boilers, electrical and plumbing work. Very well done by three different repairmen.

Description of Work: Michael & Son has done some great work on our property, but most recently as part of a renovation they quoted incomplete work, and then after we asked them about us, sprung on us another quote to complete the work. | |In reading through the original quote, I realize they had some leeway with the interpretation, and in the future, I will make sure everyone is much more clear -- but why would I want a job half done? Their response was less than lackluster. | |Everything else was done very well and with exceptional quality.

Description of Work: Replace two filter cartridges in a bathroom faucet.

Description of Work: The only recent contractor service that I've used is Michael and Son. They are just like a general contractor. We had them install air conditioning in our house.

Description of Work: Installed refrigerator water connection. Although done well with a valve, tech was not willing to place line in wall without doing significant damage to wall and could not provide estimate to repair wall.

Description of Work: Whole house standby generator annual service. |Technician gave us pointers and suggestions on maintenance. Plus some cost cutting routine procedures.

Description of Work: They serviced our toilets, and they serviced pipes in the garage that had burst from being frozen.

Description of Work: They were very professional and punctual. Never entered the house without putting booties over their shoes to prevent tracking in dirt. They are pretty pricey, but also fixed something on my list for free because it was a "simple fix".

Description of Work: I ended up spending several hundred dollars more than I should have and had to have them come two more times than I should have and had to push to get what I needed done. The people who were good were good, but the ones who weren't were really bad.

Description of Work: I have a quasi commercial hvac system in my home. Had two boiler issues. They sent several people before finding two of their staff that understood my system, but then those two left the company. M&S struggled thereafter, and never totally corrected the problems.

Description of Work: I had them come to replace a ceiling light. They came on time and called ahead before arrival. However, they were not interested in doing the job and said it will cost me $250 to replace the bulb and it was better if I just pay their trip cost. I used another contractor and got that job done using an hourly pay.

Description of Work: they came to do a tune up of the hvac system and just checked the refrigerant outside. Did not even enter the home!

Description of Work: Company sent a contractor to fix pipes on Heating system, previous visit from company said methane gas coming out of pipe and dangerous to us, my 99 year old dad and providers. Said some one would be calling me next day.....3 weeks later now call. When I called "Daryl" was sent out, claimed he did not have pipes but promised me he would be back sometime over Memorial day weekend....NOT...never happened. No more Michael and Son

Description of Work: Provider was called three times to come out and provide an estimate for electrical services. They sent several crews out on different days but I never received the estimate. I emailed them several times and still no response. This company was the worst and they proclaim to be so well versed and liked. I beg to differ. Very unprofessional

Description of Work: Our outside faucet froze over the winter and cracked the pipe. So in addition to a new faucet a short piece of pipe had to be fixed.

Description of Work: A new outside faucet was installed and a new inside shutoff water valve and piping were replaced for that faucet. The outside faucet was original to the house (55 yrs. old) It had been steadily dripping for sometime. The inside shutoff value also original, did not shut the water off to the outside fauceet. The technician was on time, professional and performed the installation in a timely manner. He did quality workmanship. I have used Michael and Sons on numerous occasions for a variety of services. They do quality work and their technicians are knowledgeable.
