Description of Work: We needed an urgent air conditioner repair. First I will share that they were the second provider we contacted. The first was a joke. I was in dire need of the repair because all of my in-laws were to arrive the next day for their first visit to our new home, and it was 90 degrees outside. | |Micheal&Sons technician knew what he was doing, understood our plight, expertly tested the unit, diagnosed the problem, hunted for the part, and fixed the unit the same day! These folks were a Godsend! We will use them again.

Description of Work: Had diagnose overflow valve was leaking through the back. If I knew that was the problem the fix when of been easily resolved by watching You Tube. Fix the overflow drain stoppage from leaking. They did not have the part in hand in their vehicle so had to go to Home Depot to get the part. Part cost no more then $10.00 for some caulk glue and rubber sealer as I watched him pick the part out. Pure profit for Michael & Sons. Overall quality of work was good but way too pricy !!!

Description of Work: They fixed a dimmer switch, installed a surge protector on the breaker box & replaced 2 outlets. I've used this co. for years. Not the cheapest but reliable & quality service.

Description of Work: Original Estimator came out about mid November to provide a proposal to put up a tv wall cabinet and tv bracket and to remove wall paper and paint 3 small bathrooms. The estimate came to over $10,000.00. Yes, ten thousand dollars. Concerned that I was being taken advantage of and insulted, I called Michael & Sons about my proposal and requested my $99 one time fee back. They sent the lead inspector out to investigate. Lead stated i was over estimated about $3,000. His estimate was still high. In any event, I asked fir my $99 back and they would not return it. They said if i used them for the job the $99 will go towards work. So in short, they got me fir $99, because only a fool would pay $10,0000 for that job. Very dissatisfied, will escalate higher.

Description of Work: Nothing because their bid was more than double market pricing. They were quite professional and seemed to be well trained and capable. The price was just too steep for the project requirements.

Description of Work: HVAC/Heat pump Removal and Replacement. The Heating and Cooling team was excellent to work with. I also had some restoration and mold removal work done in the utility room and tried to use Michael and Sons Restoration group, but they were non-responsive and difficult to work with for a quote. I used a different vendor for the restoration work and everything worked out well. I did not rate lower since the HVAC group was so good and I did not use the Restoration group.
