Description of Work: Water Valve in basement was leaking and one of the turn off valves was not functioning. Due to county law he replaced the pipe with 2 new cut off valves. Went well even though the house is old and he had to special order the parts.

Description of Work: They are very expensive. It took a long long time for the electrician |to fix a light fixture. My neighbor used them so I had them come. They said I needed $10,000 worth of electrical work done!! Much of what they said was bogus. |I will never use them again.

Manager was a liar and tried to pass off cheap tile board as replacement for fiberglass shower he took out. |The only part of the job that went well was the plumbers. |Plumbers were great and On time.

Description of Work: Michael and Son repaired my sink and garbage disposal after a large tree fell on my house, taking out the kitchen window and spewing glass in the disposal, drain, and creating other damage.

Description of Work: Called them to fix a faucet that was dripping. Two service people came, the lead person insisted I needed a brand new faucet, etc. and since I have two sinks in that bathroom, both faucets had to be replaced. I asked for just the one dripping faucet to be fixed, but he insisted and intimidated me so I agreed. They only had expensive replacement faucets in the truck. This ended up costing more than $1,000. He also said I needed to replace a valve in the basement and was upset when I said no. I was truly fearful as he was very aggressive. I called customer service repeatedly afterwards, but they just kept saying a supervisor would return the call. This was a very upsetting experience, I would be afraid to have another one of their service people in my home.

Description of Work: Excellent work, polite workers, thorough cleanup after completion of work. Not the least expensive but worth it for quality work.

Description of Work: I purchase an annual maintenance agreement with Michael & Sons. They provided good service, arrived punctually on the day that I called and performed the requisite repair. There was no charge for the Freon recharge and the repair did not require parts, just a minor adjustment so I didn't incur a charge.

Description of Work: We have used Michael and Son several times now for air conditioning problems. They have solved each problem in a timely manner. They have now become our "go to" company for AC issues.

Description of Work: They replaced our faucets in the bathroom and the kitchen, and installed a water purifier system, and checked out our HVAC system.

Description of Work: Service air conditioning unit. Other than changing the filter nothing else was done. I did not felt that the unit was serviced properly. I asked if there was water settled on the floor which was a problem in the past and was no told but I did not see the technician make an effort to carry out my request.
