Description of Work: This service was performed before the last three months for a 90 year old friend who was charged $16,800 for a generator. Cost should have been about $10,000. Her bank account was drained by them causing a crisis. She was then berated on the phone, as was I later. It was really egregious. A settlement was finally reached. DON'T EVER USE MICHAEL AND SON WITHOUT GETTING A SECOND OPINION. I can document all of this

Description of Work: Electrical service. new circuit breaker box installed to provide electrical surges throughout the house to prevent future surge outages. The installation service went very well and in a timely and always with caring and great professionalism. The price included the permit for the bonding jumper to gas piping, hot&scold, water service pipes and ground rods and wiring and labor. Excellent job. We are pleased.

Description of Work: Just asked to change water valve. Came up with 9K worth of work they said I needed done. Didn't get any of it done and replaced tub water valve myself. They did charge a fee to come out. What a scam!

Description of Work: I contacted Michael & Sons because my generator light was red and the 2016 snow storm was fast approaching. Even though Michael & Sons could not immediately send anyone to my house because of an overload of calls, I was able to talk to a wonderful Tech, Mr. George Jacoub, who was able to tell me what to do in order to have my generator "ready to run". Although i did not lose power to my house, I was ready with my backup generator because of the knowledgeable tech that worked for Michael & Sons. The tech was polite, professional and most of all patient. He was able to tell me exactly what to do. Because of him my generator was ready, and my stress level was at an all time low, knowing that I would be ready in case I lost power.
