Description of Work: I got an estimate for a new HVAC unit and water heater. There were a lot of "free" add ons (wifi thermostat, vent cleaning, UV bulb that required yearly maintenance, free air cleaner) that made the deal tempting but the price was $800 more than we spent and no rebates were given even after asking (the company we went with offered another $400 off). Those "free" add ons weren't worth going with a company that has a lower rating on Angie's List AND with Carrier

Description of Work: We were entitled to a free check-up for our 3 year old heat pump which was installed by Michael & Son. The tech tried to charge my wife for it and when she refused, tried to up-sell her to a full system "cleaning". |It turns out, M & S tech's are paid on a commission basis so watch out!

Description of Work: I had a new faucet installed 8 months ago in my kitchen. The fixture is loose already. The technician told me my dishwasher was not connected correctly. He rerouted my hoses. Now water settles in the bottom of my dishwasher after the dry cycle. When I call the Michael and Sons dispatcher, she said they did not service dishwashers. I would not recommend Michael and Sons to anyone. I was not pleased with their services and the cost are too expensive.
