Electrician was knowledgeable and on time. Very professional overall. After a half hour he recommended that I upgrade the circuit from 40amp to 60amp. The price to run the pvc and wiring was $500. This is about a 10 foot run with easy access to the current conduit and wiring. I was also quoted $200 to hook up the pump to the subpanel. Pump is 5 feet from the subpanel and wiring is above ground in liquid tight flexible conduit. I can't say anything bad about the electricians knowledge and professionalism. I do have one critique though. His recommendation to update to a 60amp subpanel was based on the total amps listed on the pool equipment and feeling that I was getting "close" to using the 40amps. Looking back, he could have easily used an amp-meter to check the actual amps being used instead of a general hunch based on the equipment labels. One more thing...the pricing seemed a little steep to me. $700 for a couple hours of work and not even $100 in materials? That along with his verifieng the need to upgrade wiring with a basic tool like an amp-meter will make me look for someone else next time.

They came out in a timely manner. They gave the estimate. I thought the prices were a little high. I was not dissatisfied, I just thought I could get a get a better deal.

They come on emergency basis. They are professional and do a good job. Their charges are according to the market prices.

They were professional and provided effective service. They were pleasant and customer focused people. They were punctual and their prices were reasonable.

Mark called before coming and did a great job of replacing the fan and also did a free audit of our electrical system.

They were great overall, on time, professional and cleaned up after the work was completed.

They arrived on time, gave me a firm estimate before starting work and completed the work at that price. The workmanship was excellent. They had to cut two holes in the dining room drywall to detect the leak. The holes were cut square and will not be difficult to repair.

The tradesman from Michaels was trully a professional and one that Michaels can be proud of. He was on time, called about 15 minutes prior to arrival to say he was on the way and went to work immediatly. He was very polite and well mannered. He removed the old toilet and installed the new one and was on site less than an hour from start to finish. When he left there was not even a drop of water on the bathroom floor. The area was as clean as a pin. He removed all debris and deposited it in the cartons the new unit came in and loaded it all in his vehicle.

I was very pleased with what they did. They were very courteous and professional. Good price.

The main issue here was locating the source of the problem. We just had drywall installed and there was a frayed wire behind the new drywall underneath a light switch. They quickly located the source of the problem, which issued a loud pop and spark when the electricity was turned on. It's a good thing it was fixed quickly, the contractor explained that this is the source of most house fires. We were relieved the issue was taken care of.

Mother-in-law at home during time of service. Service rep indicated lines were blocked due to settlement in the water lines. Lines replaced although new upgraded lines were installed just a year ago. No phone call made to owners requesting permission to do the work or replace lines at what we consider an extremely high gorging flat rate for an hour of service. I called to voice my complaint to Customer Service this morning. Service rep is supposed to call back to discuss. I was expecting the total charge for service and repairs not to exceed $300. For the price charged, I would expect to replace my entire kitchen since tub and faucet for the priced charged for the faucet alone.

It was kind of an urgent thing for me because we had people coming over for dinner and they came out the same day. I liked the responsiveness, they were very neat and the guy in charge of the two man crew seemed like he knew just what to look at to fix the problem. I asked him about other things around the house and he seemed very knowledgeable about that. I would use them again. It was expensive but I think it would have been expensive for anyone to come out.

They left a hole in my cabinetry because they did not measure correctly. They came three times bringing the wrong materials & tools with them all three times. They still have not come back and put wood back over hole. They are non-responsive. They will not return my phone calls. Absolutely never re-hire this company. They are totally non-responsive.

I've used this company before for major plumbing work and they have always been great, if a little pricey. This time they were responsive as usual and came out the next business day. The plumber snaked the pipe but wasn't sure if the snake went all the way out to the road, so he called another guy to bring more snake. He seemed very uncertain of himself but concluded that we must have a broken pipe and we needed to dig up our yard and find the break and repair it. Estimate was approximately $10,000. We were uncomfortable with this diagnosis based on the plumber's uncertainty as to whether or not the snake made it out to the street. We asked them to come back out and snake it again and the manager refused to do this. We got a second opinion and learned that there was no break and the second company was able to dislodge the blockage with the snake. The pipe was fine all along. I saved $9,000 and my front yard by getting a second opinion. I won't use this company again. I ended up spending a couple hundred dollars for the apparently inexperienced plumber to inadequately snake the pipes.

I was very pleased with them. They are very professional and they gave me a price and stuck with it so I knew exactly what I was paying for. They were very honest and thorough. They do great work and I would recommend them.

Michael and Sons have done all my plumbing so I called them naturally for this water hammer and pipe knocking. He ran a warm wash to check it out and of course couldn't find it (not his fault), but did secure the water pipe to prevent knocking and hammering. I asked him about the warm faucet to the machine being tight and he said that was ok. He gave me 3 options to go on, and I chose the thermal expansion tank, as the tank is 12 years old, but we're not ready to replace it. He did have to come back the next morning to replace a part on the T&P valve as it was dripping slightly, which he admitted that it was his fault as he had to access it, but it didn't start dripping until later on that day. He came back the next day promptly. He showed me a lot of information on what I purchased and other plumbing info while he did the work. Extremely knowledgeable. I don't regret paying them more as I know once it's done that it's fixed.

Excellent work by a professional technician. All work was done quickly and work areas were cleaned up upon job completion.

The work was performed well and in a timely manner, although the electricians should have laid out a drop cloth before starting work. The small pieces of plastic from the wiring stuck to the ceramic tile floor and were tough to remove.

We had water coming into the middle of the house due to having received 9" of water in about 4 or 5 hours. The service man told us that we, undoubtedly, had serious cracks in the foundation, and that the best way to fix the problem would be to install a French drain. This would entail tearing up the entire interior perimeter of the house to put in drainage materials, for a cost of $15,000! He did not suggest that there might be other alternatives. Ultimately, we had advice from two other professionals who told us that the cracks in our foundation were perfectly normal (not even patching required). Both also said that they did not even think a sump pump was necessary, and both said that they thought a French drain would be a hugely unnecessary expense, given that the circumstances we encountered were so unusual. Needless to say, we will not be using this firm again.

The guy who came out seemed very casual. He seemed like this was no big deal and gave off the impression that he wasn't very interested. He said he would have someone call and verify what we wanted to do. They never called us back.

My greatest concern is the price charged. They charge a high price (over $50.00) just to come to your house, whether you do the repairs or not. Once they are there, they give you an estimate and it is difficult to decline if you really need the repairs done at that time. Also they have very aggressive sales tactics and try to sell you other products and services while there.

No complaints. I have to use a specific type of siding on my house, which I told the guy exactly what I needed. They did show up without the wood, I had to tell them where to go to get the wood. It did work out, they might have been able to be better prepared.

Excellent. Firm was able to respond on short notice on a Saturday afternoon (after-hours fee $90). They carry spare high-quality water heaters on their truck, and could get right to work. Took about two hours for all work. Cleaned-up up pretty well after themselves. This was first time I had used this company, and I think I'll be a regular customer now. [The plumbers that I have a service contract with were reluctant to respond and wanted a $250 after-hours charge.]

Didn't show up. Didn't call. When I called to find out where they were, I was told the office was closed, the answering service had no way to contact the actual workers.
