We have been using this company for the past several years and have been very pleased with their service and cost. The repairmen are always very professional and timely.

I bought a Dishwasher from Lowes. . It was installed by Michael and Sons .Easy to make an appointment and realiable I believe that installer was contracted by Michael and Sons. Installer was professional and knew what he was doing Anyway, Installations was clean and well done. I definitely use Michael and Sons for future needs.

Michael & Son did an outstanding job. Over the 24 years we have owned our home, we have had a number of different plumbers do work on it, and as a result, we had varying levels of quality repairs. I had a number of nagging issues piled up, and needed to replace a rusting 15 year old water heater before it broke. This was the first time someone looked at the whole situation, not just the specific problem, and did repairs that reduced the jumble of pipes that had resulted from all the previous work. The work is very professional and high quality. Water Heater: The old water heater was installed at a weird angle, so the main panel was facing the corner and the pipes above were kind of a mess. The plumber worked very hard to reach into the corner and drain the old water heater without cutting into the wall from the other side, which would have been much easier on him, but cost me more in wall repairs. The replacement water heater is very high quality, and best of all, he completely re-did the plumbing above the water heater to simplify the runs, and installed new cutoffs for the water heater, ice maker, and home humidifier in one easily reached location. The cutoffs are all much nicer 1/4 turn valves that will be much easier to operate in one "bank" of valves in an emergency. Shower repairs: We had a bathroom renovated by a general contractor a couple of years ago, but the shower never worked right. Not wanting to destroy the excellent tile work, the plumber cut into the wall in the bedroom adjacent to it, and discovered multiple problems with pvc tubing and the wrong joints between the copper in the house and the pvc they used. He fixed everything with new copper and a new moen faucet, and did not damage any tile. The work is extremely sturdy and almost too pretty to cover back up with wallboard (but my daughter will insist). Outside faucet/pressure regulator/new main cutoff valve/other cutoff valves: Again, these were all replaced with much higher quality units, and the work was very sturdy and clean. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the plumbing work. He came to give an estimate the same day I called, and was able to schedule the work for the next day, even though this was not an emergency (the water heater was very old, but not leaking yet). He completed it all in one long 9+ hour day, working with no discernable breaks. He also arrived a half hour EARLIER than expected, so no waiting around for him to show. I got another estimate from a different plumber, which was about 10% cheaper, but I had hired them before and was more impressed by the knowledge of the Michael & Son plumber that they sent out to do the estimate, so took a chance on Michael and Son, and was glad I did. The work was MUCH better. Not the cheapest, but the peace of mind with the higher quality work was worth it.

Every year I have them come out and take a look at my furnace. I would grade their price in the middle; they're not the least expensive.

They told me I needed to spend $2600 for a new unit. I called another contractor to come out and they said it just was short on Fremon. They used a stop leak and filled the Freon. Unit has worked great ever since. I feel like Michael and sons just wanted to sell me a new unit. Either they were just incompetent or dishonest. Either way, I would never use hem again. Parker Fuel was a great company to work with

I had my heater replaced about six months ago. I liked them. I called them a couple of time over the last 15/18 years. Overall, I do call them and I call another company for various heating, air conditioning, plumbing problems. I'll give them a B, and I think I'll recommend them. I would use them again; I would try somebody else first, but yeah, I would call them.

Poorly. Technicians and plumber had some training but their execution of the work was shoddy.

That was the first time they did service for me. The work that they did was okay. I just wasn't totally happy, that's all. I would say that they didn't do the job that they tried to upsell.

He was very professional and personable. Tested the water, checked the whole house water filter, which had just been changed, and checked all connections, etc. After all of this it was decided that the old water filter may have started to disintegrate and deposited charcoal pieces in the water system. The problem has since stopped, and we conclude that he was correct.

They are a good company to get things done around your house.

The plumber told me that he was going to replace my old pipes and sewer pipes with all copper pipes. I learned several days later that all the new pipes are PVC. I believe that I was charged for copper pipes. The PVC pipes under the addition were fourteen years old and fine but I allowed them be replaced thinking that they would be copper pipes. A waste of my money in my estimation. My bill was $5870.00. My house is not very large so I believe this is a huge overcharge. The plumber did not give my any copies of a contract, receipt, or after photos. He made one before photo of a bad pipes under the original part of the house, but did not give me that one. The estimated time for the job was two days. It took one day and one and a half hours the second day.

They do a good job. I have no issues with them. One person comes out to perform the service. He's good and I never have a problem. They leave the area clean.

I have no issues. They were real good. It all went through the insurance company. Even though the floor was just wet on the bottom, but you know how the insurance company want to make sure everything is, you know. They came right out and did what that the insurance company told them to do. It went right back the way that it was.

Installation went well until it was time to pay. My wife and I was to pay the first $1,500 and the were going to finance the balance. Someone at M&S decided to try to retrieve the balance from our checking account. they STOLE $3,000 published debit card account # date and security code in an unsecured E-mail. causing us bank overdraft fees and having to cancel. the debit card. I have not herd from M&S as to why.

Everything was still under warranty the last time they came out. They're great. They're expensive but they're good.

Our 50-gallon gas water heater started leaking late afternoon on Friday, 5/26/17. I called some of the deals on Angie's List for gas water heater replacements on Saturday morning, 5/27/17 before committing any funds because I wanted my water heater completed as soon as possible, most were closed on Saturday and for the rest of the weekend (Memorial day weekend), I had no luck. I then called some of the closer A rated plumbers to my zipcode with the same results. I then heard a Michaels commercial for 24/7 service and called them. The person answering my call and taking my information was very professional and told me that a service technician would call me approximately 20-30 minutes before they arrived to look at the job and give me a quote. I received that call late Saturday afternoon. The technician that arrived was very professional and took a look at my watrer heater and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. He then went on his tablet and provided me a quote for $2,071.03. I told him that the price was a lot higher than the deals that I saw on Angie's List which were in the $1,100-1,200 range. He then offered a dented 50 gallon water heater on his truck for $200.00 less and also a price to install a water heater that I furnish, $656.09. I turned down all three offers, paid the $69.00 diagnostic fee and decided to accept a deal for $1,149.00 with someone else and live with cold water until I get it scheduled and replaced. I'm not sure about the normal pricing for gas water heater replacement pricing, maybe their price is worth it for 24/7 service.

Very well. We went from no cool air coming through and thinking it was broken to super cold air with our existing unit.
