Technician was on time, highly curteous, and install the new heater properly. Passed city inspection. Company was flexible and allow me to schedule two trips, one for removing the old water heater and the next for installing the new one. This allowed me to paint the floor

We were scheduled to have a tech come out to give us a quote on a new A/C unit between 4 pm and 8 pm, and the appointment was confirmed. He never showed up. When we called the office, they said he "had already gone home" by the time they got the assignment to him. But they never called us to tell us that - we were sitting in a vacant home for 4 hours for someone who never was going to come, and they didn't tell us. Absolutely horrible service.

Work was completed in a timely manner. All work reviewed with home owner prior to start and upon completion. Company responds and communicates quickly and thoroughly. Cleanup was excellent. Techs very knowledgeable.

In a word. TERRIBLE! OK, I knew a basic service wi=ould be $89. Tech showed p and determined NO refrigerant. Must be a leak! Said there would be additional charge for find the leak, $303???? For about 20 minutes. On top of the $89. I still do not know what I got for the initial $89. Total estimate for repair and recharge $2,100!!!!! I kicked him out of my house. The whole system new 3 years ago was only $4200! I read the detail billing receipt and repair estimate and found they were trying to charge me $118/ pound of R410A coolant, I need 10 pounds. I can buy a 25 pound canister on Amazon for $135. That is under $5/ pound. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!

Had used them before and made the call. They were immediately available. Tech came to the house, didn't even turn the faucets on and told us that it would be $1,000 for the job. This included a $200 fee to cut a hole in our drywall inside. We said no thanks, called another company off of Angie's List with an A grade and the total cost for the job was $500. They didn't charge us $200 to cut a hole in our drywall. Michael and Son kept the $69 for the visit.

They didn't call ahead so the contractor sat at house for almost one hour and charged me. They had the wrong number for me in their information. I questioned the amount of service and asked to speak to a manager after work was started. I asked that the work stop until a manager gave me a call. On the next day, the manager had not called so I called them. We set an appointment to meet the next day. The next day, I received a call from a different manager who stated I needed to pay the invoice or they were going to file a police report. Intimidation. Unprofessional.

Except for the high cost, Joseph was great very friendly, worked fast and did a great job.

It was great. The team was professional, courteous, clean and thorough.

Hired them to come out to do a tune up on my air conditioner. They sold me a maintenance agreement to bump up the price so I could get 0% interest on a credit card to make a repair to the air conditioner because the total had to be over $1200 to get the 0% interest!! turns out they weren't supposed to sell me that plan because we have a boiler but the guy looked at it anyway and didn't make any mention of it. When we turned the heat on the boiler started making noises it had never made before and we started smelling gas. We had the fire department out and they shut off our gas. We called Michael and Son, the guy took forever to get there and then didn't have the tools he needed and started talking about how our plan didn't cover the boiler. They sent another guy and he said the same thing. Why did they sell me this plan if it's not covered. So, I called a friend who has a heating and air business (met him after the first call to Michael and Son, unfortunately!). He looked at the system and said that someone had tuned the gas all the way up and that it was building up in the system and that was why we were having the problem. He spent a few hours cleaning the system and we were able to turn the gas back on. I called Michael and Son to tell them what the issue was and they tried to argue with me but eventually they realized they were wrong and refunded the maintenance plan. Small price to pay for them for trying to kill us!!!

EXCEPTIONALLY well!!!! Brian was excellent as he discussed costs and helped me make a decision that I am very happy with. His background in installation of furnaces helped a great deal with his perspectives. Moses and Asare were also excellent in their efficient installation of the furnace and AC unit that has worked perfectly for a couple of months now. I deeply appreciate the patients of all Michael & Son technicians and inspectors who have come to my home over the last 3 years. Moses and Asare were very helpful to ensure I fully understand all the documentation that they left with me and they answered all of my questions. This is a very professional company that has excellent employees. I choose to purchase the AC replacement along with the furnace because it saved me several dollars. Also, both were over 22 years old. Approximate cost below is for the furnace and AC units that I selected. They provided options.

Perfect, well done. Just what we wanted

Michael & Sons never under-performs. Pricing is perhaps slightly higher than I could find elsewhere, but I also know you often get what you pay for. I never have to wonder about quality when Michael & Sons does the work! It's always done right the first time. They are one of the few companies who will tell you when expensive work can wait, thus I trust them when they tell me expensive work needs to be done.

They came out and very prompt and professional to provide the service.

Technician came out to the house, looked at the existing pipe and placement for a few minutes. Then called his manager to get a price. The estimate was $1475. When I asked the manager why it was so expensive he explained that it would take a few hours, plus they charge $175 for permit, plus they would have to disconnect and reconnect the range. I explained that there was no existing range and that Home Depot would be installing the range separately. His response was that gas lines are always expensive and that $1475 was the lowest he could go. I contacted another contractor (ARS) who did the work for $700.

Very badly. They had to order a new faucet. After we hadn’t heard from them for a while, we called. When the plumber tried to install the faucet he said it didn’t fit the sink (a standard Kohler sink) and he would have to order another. When he arrived with the second faucet, he said it didn’t fit either and he would have to order another. We never heard from them again. We hired another plumber who installed a faucet in a half hour with no difficulty.

Excellent experience. Removal of old system (50+ years old) and installation of new system took about 1.5 days. The installers were very diligent in their work, pleasant at all times and responsive to all my questions. I commend them for their positive attitude and work ethic. I strongly recommend Michael & Son Services.

They are very good at what they do, they know the job but they are a little expensive.

I'm very happy. They are very professional, on time and when they say they are going to do some thing they do it, that's what I like about them. Very clean, very courteous. I really like Michael & Sons, they've done several things for several of my homes. I've been using them for many years. Not cheap, but i love the quality of their work. You can go else where cheaper but the quality, professionalism, timeliness, cleaning up after them selves. I really like them. I've been a client of them for many years.

They didn't show up after my husband waited all day. I don't remember if my husband had to call them or they called later, but they couldn't make that appointment and offered a window for an appt on another day. My complaint is that notification wasn't provided until after an entire day of waiting and several phone calls from us.....so we decided to use another company. Wasn't trying to be peevish, just felt like we were being blown off. We've used this company before, usually were pleased.....this time it was disappointing.

They cleaned all my rooms. I haven't did it for over 25 years. They went through all my rooms and cleaned it. I think it was some additional cost. We don't mind, so that's fine. The pricing, if my husband's happy, I'm happy. If I heard the price I will question it. They did great.

They do good. Just a couple guys that try to come and sell us stuff. My husband and I say no. One of the guys tried to sell us stuff and I said no. I'm not just some old lady who doesn't know. My husband does the same thing, so if we don't need it, we don't need it. They did work that we needed, the duct, yeah, they did good. Yes, they are responsive. They always leave a message for service needs, they leave a message., is needed to be for air or heat or anything. Sometimes we call them, they respond. They make appointments. They work our schedule and sometimes we work their. If they're late, they call.

The supervisor put my put my mind at ease and I was greatful for that.

My written estimate was $4,700. However my credit card was overcharged $1530 with no explanation. Corey Smith lied and said he never gave me that estimate. Never sign anything on his phone. They are deceitful and don't return phone calls either.

, Michael & Son was great day I would recommend them a hundred percent anybody they work with you they finance do they do anything they can to comfort you they are a family business and family-oriented unfortunately I cannot get my referable coupon because I can't get on but my Angela list as I lost my account cuz I couldn't afford to keep it up.
