On time, professional, completed job, and cleaned up after themselves. I would use their services again.

This was my first time using them, they were good to work with. They were very fair with their price. They quality was excellent. I would recommend them.

Arrived on time after announcing his arrival by phone. Looked at the job to be done. Went to his truck one time, for the above the wall board pot. Finished the job, including unpacking the new light and loading it with an ecology bulb, and installing the light. Excellent service in under 30 minutes, and presented bill for a check. Polite and nice. His name was Elvis. He then left the building.

They were professional on the phone and while doing the work. The bid was very competitive and the recessed lighting work was done perfectly, and on time. Absolutely no complaints -- I plan to have them come back to do additional work in the future.

McDermott came the same day I called to replace a ceiling fan. Elvis was efficient and very neat in doing the installation. Mr. McDermott followed up to assure that I was happy with the service. I would use McDermott again.

Electrian(s) not able to make initial app't because of a vehicle maintenance problem. App't was rescheduled and crew was punctual. The labor was expensive and don't really believe that it was a two person job. Seems like it was a way to escalate the price of labor as we were charged by the number of men per hour. My husband has left a message with owner of company expressing his dissatisfaction with the high cost as well as the quality of the fan and we have not been extended the courtesy of a return phone call. Crew also left old fan in the attic; cleaned up work area in bathroom but not the attic. Am not satisfied with the quality of the new exhaust fan at all; very nosy. Disappointed as it was explained to the owner of the company that was the reason we were replacing the original fan; it was too loud. Turns out this one is louder than the one that was replaced. Doesn't appear to me that a company can have a good reputation if the owner will NOT even return phone calls.

Good work, courteous, professional staff. But I doubt that two electricians were needed -- they seemed to take turns working on most of the projects, and I was charged an hourly rate for both of them.

The total installation time was about a week because the existing fan motor was not the size customarily used by McDermott. The electricians were all professional and friendly.

I will split this - Electrical was A and Lighting was B-. I think the company is excellent for electrical work and the "behind the scenes" type of installations, I trusted what Kevin (the owner) said. I do not think they are strong in their aesthetic knowledge of lighting. We did the renovation in stages and it was complicated to get the drywall folks to leave for a day - have the elctricians come in and then the dry wall folks come back - but we did it. We are very pleased with the outlets and circuit breakers - no issues. They were professional and Kevin even identified other potential issues. The recessed lighting was another story - we tried to have them design the installation - the original design was impractical - lighting was over the floor instead of the workspace, the original installation did not have enough light, and we called them back to add another light. The staff was good about coming back and doing the second installation. The under the cabinet lighting was pretty - and it was expensive - we bought high quality lights. then slowly they fell - one after the other - it was due to the shortness of the screws. They repaired them - and we asked that the others be checked - the following week - they fell. We took that over and just bought other screws and finished the installation.

Project went very well. Kevin McDermott is very punctual and friendly. We have used his company for services in the past and will do so again in the future. The price he charged was about the same as other estimates that I received for the job.

Once we got started, it went smoothly and professionally.

McDermott arrived promptly and completed their work in good order and did not disrupt our household activities. Their prices seemed reasonable, we were very happy with their clean up procedures.

It went very well. The electricians were professional and kept the disruption and mess to a minimum. I experienced some problems subsequently with the outlet, and the company was timely in sending someone out to repair/replace. Although I've had one or two problems getting a call back when issues arose, I would still recommend them to friends and would use them again.

The technician was on time and friendly. Note that this job was not scheduled as requested originally because of an administrative error. The company was very apologetic and rescheduled the work as soon as possible.
