The cleaning went very well.

Evangelina was friendly & professional. She was responsive to my request and found a way to schedule our cleaning in advance of an event I was hosting. She asked questions about our surfaces -- hardwood & counters -- and products we use or would like used. She said she would arrive with another staff member between 8:30-9:30. She arrived at 8:30 and the house was done by 11. I was very pleased with the service and will use them again. Thank you!

I called Marlina LLC and the manager (Evangelina) set up an appointment to do a walk through of our home and give us a quote. I found the quoting price to be reasonable so a few days after the walk through, I scheduled the appointment for the actual cleaning. Evangelina called the day before to confirm the appointment and came in with the maid the next day to let her know what should be done. A few hours later, two more maids came in to help finish the job. Overall, they followed my instructions, they were professional and the job was well done. I will be hiring Marlina LLC for my cleaning needs in the future.

I am extremely happy with the work that was done by Evangelina and her helper. They are punctual and work tirelessly. The superlatives I could use are insufficient to communicate the level of professionalism and attention to detail given when cleaning my home. The manner in which they clean is a lost art. If you are looking for someone to clean the old fashioned way, run not walk to the nearest telephone and text, call or e-mail for an appointment. You will not regret it!!!! Please continue doing what you are doing oh so well!!!

Setting up the appointment with Evangelina was a breeze; she was helpful by calling us up the day before to confirm the date & time for the services to be performed. Liliana arrived promptly, and she was very thorough with good attention to detail. I was quite pleased after she cleaned the whole house from "top to bottom". Great job! We will continue to use their house-cleaning services in the future.

She accompanies her workers to our house and explains to them what needs to be done then, after the work is completed, she returns and checks that all is to our satisfaction. I called to get an estimate from them. They were easy to set up a time and showed up as promised. They gave me a very reasonable estimate and scheduled the cleaning for the following week. They did an amazing job cleaning the house. The bathrooms and kitchen look impeccable. And even though it took longer than their estimate they stuck to their initial price. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them highly. They are very professional and were insistent on taking care of minor details that I brushed off as not important. It's obvious that they take pride in their work.

They are doing monthly cleaning at my home. Professional, punctual and very thorough cleaning. I am happy with their work. Evangelina or Julio call me every four weeks to schedule for the next day. With Marlina, it's either one or two persons coming for the cleaning and I am happy with that since I am not comfortable having more than 2 people at my home doing the cleaning. I am really glad I found them through angieslist.

They arrived on time; actually called to make sure it was okay to arrive a few minutes early. The first cleaning was extremely thorough, which is great because we have two large dogs that shed. The second cleaning was extremely efficient. They do what they say they are going to do!

It is so nice to come home and have the house clean, just the way you like it. The Marlina team takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to please their clients. I have used them for over 22 years and am extremely happy with their services. I don't ever worry about not being home during their visits, everything is taken care of as I expected giving me peace of mind. I didn't list a cost of service as I know they are based upon each unique house and it's circumstances but have always felt Marlina's prices are very reasonable and well worth the service.

We switched to Marlina Inc. after about 6 months with another cleaning company, and have been extremely happy with our change. We have approx 2000 sq.ft. and it takes several hours for one person to complete the job. All interactions have been professional and they are accommodating to special requests (sometimes with a small added cost, such as cleaning a fridge, etc.). One thing that wasn't immediately clear at the time setup the new service was that we could either use their cleaning products for a small additional fee or we could provide our own. This didn't bother us, however, and we just asked what products they suggest and bought them in bulk. This is nice in a way, in the event you have a preference on products used. We also have a cat and large dog that sheds. They work around pets and we are able to leave them free-roaming in the house on cleaning days. And, we can see a noticeable difference in the amount of pet hair in and around the house following cleaning, which is an important point for us. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of the work provided and look forward to their continued service.

We have used this company for 21 years in 3 different homes. Everytime we move Julio and Clara go with us. They are very trustworthy and our home always sparkles. I highly recommend them (and have to all my friends).

I couldn't be more pleased!! This company is the most thorough, most conscientious cleaning service I have ever used. They arrive with the owner who makes sure the cleaner knows what's what and then picks up the cleaner when she is done and checks her work. Amazing! This is a family run business and they seem to care about the quality of work they provide to their clients. The price is very fair and takes into account some areas of the house that they do not clean (studio, hobby area)...and they are just plain nice folks! We hired them to clean our home and we are very happy with the service we have received. They have cleaned our home 3 times now, and every time our home is left spotless. They do a very thorough job with cleaning every room such as dusting often missed corners and ceiling fans, cleaning the inside of the microwave, and vacuuming and mopping the hardwoods. The cleaning staff and owners are extremely friendly and it's clear they know how to clean houses well. The owners also do a spot check after each cleaning to make sure everything was done. They use your own cleaning supplies which I'm a huge fan of - since you can choose what's being used which is important for us because we have dogs and prefer less toxic cleaning supplies. They are also flexible scheduling wise and will communicate with you if there is a change in a scheduled cleaning (such as during snow storms). They also respond well to issues as they arise. For example, I had stored my mop in an area of the house that was inaccessible due to work being done in the basement and the cleaning staff worked around the problem and used the swiffer mop I had available to get the floors spotless. They arrive consistently at the scheduled time and they get straight to work. We are very happy with the service they provide and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service.

Everything went great. A manager accompanied the cleaner to my home. The manager stopped by to make sure I was happy with the cleaning services provided for the last six months. I am. I take care of my mother and have pets. The service provider works well with my mother and adjusted to her schedule. They are extremely careful make sure my cats or dog do not get out. My house is three levels with four bathrooms and a very large kitchen. Everything was spotless. My appliances are stainless steel -- I'm impressed every time the house is cleaned because the appliances look brand new every time. All the surfaces are cleaned and everything on them is perfectly replaced. Nothing has been damaged -- Marlin's team treats my home and my positions with care and respect. They are the best cleaning company in Northern Virginia.

They do an excellent job. They are 100% reliable! They are very responsible and punctual. If they are giving their workers a holiday, they call ahead before to make sure I am aware. They are very communicative with their clients. I would recommend their services.

As you can see from the number of years we have used this cleaning service, we are happy with them. If ever there is an issue about the cleaning, a simple phone call or e-mail to Mr. Benevides corrects the problem. He is always most cordial and receptive regarding any question or concern. They are very responsive and want to make any adjustment necessary to have a happy customer.

If they need to change the schedule they will let me know ahead of time. If I need to change the date, they are always good about accommodating my schedule. Their price is fair and comparable to other companies. Their service is great! They are reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
