Maid to Clean

Maid to clean did a superb job of cleaning my townhouse. Everything just sparkles. Had no idea a deep cleaning could make such a difference. So much better than cleaning myself in dim evening light after a long day at work. Received my estimate for the job one hour after completing their online form and had the service provided three working days later.

Three people arrived punctually and got to work. Rooms were cleaned to perfection in 1 and 1/2 hours.

Where to start....Cleaning was thorough but the pricing/charges are inconsistent. I used the same service last year for the same space, the bill was $60 more this time. I get inflation, but $60...They probably thought I wouldn't check our previous bill. When you add that to the fact that cleaning staff attempted to hide that they killed a large orchid by breaking the flowering stem, you get service that is unreliable and untrustworthy. When asked about it (and provided with picture evidence), they did not admit to breaking the plant. After several email exchanges, MTC offered to discount the price by the value of the plant but only if they could take the plant. They get an F in professionalism for threatening to send my account to collections while we negotiated the discount for the broken plant (less than 2 weeks from service date including a holiday weekend). In my business, customers get 30 days to pay before we start threatening anything, especially when something is broken. I will never use MTC again and recommend you avoid this business unless you want to overpay for average service.

The cleaning was thorough, the team really made sure to get under things and pay attention to detail. My roommates and I survived living with each other by having Maid to Clean come each week. The cleaning crew were in and out, bringing everything with them. If we needed to make any changes we just called, the office staff are friendly and it was taken care of.

winter when I was preparing for my 40th birthday. There was a 4-5 member crew come out to my house, they showed up very promptly and were super organized. They moved around the house swiftly and efficiently. There was not much interaction between the ladies while cleaning. It seemed everyone already knew what portion of the cleaning job they are responsible for and they were focusing hard during the entire time. I have a two story house and they cleaned everything in a short time, which was very helpful to me since I work from my office most times. I really appreciated that they also made sure that the "hard-to-reach" places were spotless as well, and they put everything back to the same place where it belongs. What more to say, they are also using green products through their cleaning services which I also appreciate much since I'm a big advocate of saving our environment wherever we can. Great service all around! Planning to have them over soon again in preparation for my holiday parties!

Maid To Clean has been cleaning our home twice monthly for about the eight years (a rough guess). They have always and continue to do a fantastic job. They clean everything nicely, and each visit they seem to focus extra attention on some area, such as detailed washing of the kitchen cabinets. As a result the whole place stays nice and clean. I am usually home working when they come and they do a great job of dealing with my presence and cleaning around me. They minimize the time I have to be away from my computer so they can clean the area I work in. They have also been great in dealing with two cats and a dog that also reside (and shed) in our home. All the pets like them, and it would appear that the crew is trained to be pleasant to pets without having the pet dominate their time. They come in, say hello to me, the pets, and then get to work. In the eight years of cleaning I believe they accidentally damaged one item and left me a written note explaining it and who to contact. They also claimed to damage something once, that I know was damaged before they ever saw it. So it is evident that they are very careful about this sort of thing. We have no plans to use anyone else.

They do a great job, and are consistent in their work. They are also thoughtful of the fact that I work from home, and call half an hour before they arrive to let me know they're on their way. My husband has used them for almost ten years, and it's been a service we've both been grateful to have.

Maid to Clean does a very thorough job. There are three women who come as a team and work in our house for more than 2 hours. They clean the kitchens and bathrooms thoroughly. They vacuum the furniture and hard wood floors. They dust all the surfaces and windowsills. We leave out a clean set of sheets and they change the beds (they do not do laundry or dishes). They take good care of our house and clean it carefully, with green products. They are excellent at communicating--if they noticed something, they leave a note. If we need to cancel our weekly appointment because we are out of town, we communicate with Maid to Clean by email and they promptly answer. They are always professional and prompt. We have never had any problems with theft or breakage.

I have used Maid to Clean mostly for big cleaning projects for holidays or when relatives come to visit. Finally, this summer, I signed on as a regular customer and could not be happier with their services. The ladies come every two weeks and really do an amazing job cleaning. I've had cleaning services before and this one stands out because the owner looks at the details of her business. For example, this is the first and only cleaning company that brings a ladder to clean above the refrigerator (unheard of before) or books and book shelves. They also make sure to clean all those hard to reach areas that most cleaning companies ignore. I am very pleased with their punctuality as well - they arrive at the pre-determined time every time. Their billing is based on the time spent cleaning, so they actually look for things to perfect to be certain they clean the entire minimum period of time. Maid to Clean is trying to stand above their competitors, and they succeed.

Maid to Clean is the third cleaning service we have had since moving to Arlington just over seven years ago. We have used Maid To Clean for over a year now. Each time the staff arrives, our front desk person, shares with me that the team is professionally dressed. After each cleaning our home looks wonderful. The company uses green cleaning products, which is oder free. Appointments and cancellations can be taken care on line and emails are promptly responded to. I highly recommend this cleaning company.

The staff are very thorough and professional. They pay attention to detail and i anything is neglected they are very quick to respond. and make up for it. They also very careful. I have had other cleaners who have broken things and this has never happened with maid to clean. If they find something amiss they also leave a note accordingly so you are aware. It's always a pleasure to come home after I know that the maids have been there

I live part-time in DC and rent out my condo while I am gone on Airbnb. The last tenants I had over the weekend left the place in complete disarray. I had used a couple of other companies in the past, but had several no-show on me at the last minute and were lacking in quality. It was my neighbor who referred me to Maid to Clean, and I am ever so grateful to her! They came in and cleaned every nook and cranny, organized my stack of guest towels and even got out a stain on my kitchen countertop that I thought would never come up! My assistant who met them there for the cleaning said they were 5 minutes EARLY, courteous, and professional in appearance. I will definitely be calling Maid to Clean in the future for all of my cleanings!

I have been using this service for several months and I am very satisfied. They always send 3-4 cleaners to clean my apartment so they are in and out very quickly; total time is approximately 1 hour. They do a thorough job each time. Added bonus they will change bedsheets if requested. Overall solid performance.

The staff arrived exactly when promised and the job took exactly as long as quoted. The staff was proffessional and did a great job and getting my house clean. I'm very particular, and they met all of my expectations.

My favorite day of the month is coming home from work after I know Cindi's staff has cleaned my apartment. The staff is incredibly responsive to questions and requests, and truly make you feel like a valued customer. Maid to Clean has set the gold standard for service in the D.C. area.

We have used Maid to Clean on several occasions in the past, this last time was for a very deep cleaning and as usual everything went very well, the supervisor would check in occasionally with questions or updates. We have 3 dogs and one cat and the crew was all very respectful of the pets as well as making sure none of them got out, which was a big concern of ours After the first time they cleaned the house a couple years ago, I realized that I didn't need to worry at all! The crew brought absolutely everything that they needed to do their job, which didn't always happen with other companies! The supervisor was very involved in making sure that the job was being done correctly, and if there was every anything that she was't 100% satisfied with, she ensured that it was handled to her satisfaction. I never saw any issues, but she wanted to make sure that I was 110% satisfied, which I really appreciated! For a normal clean I would come home and have always been very pleased, this last deep clean I was home when they finished, and I was given time to check everying out, and the entire house looked incredible! We have always only had excellent expierinces with the staff and managers at Maid to Clean! I would definitly reccomend them.......as I have to a number of our friends!

I love these guys, and have been using them for years, over three different places I've lived in in the last decade or so. They are prompt, thorough, do a great job, are meticulous about the instructions I give, and they are just lovely people. When I left the area for a short period and then returned and started my service back up, I asked for the same crew to work my house. I am unfortunately now leaving the area permanently, and I wish I could take them with me!

Maid to Clean has cleaned my home for over 15 years so you know they must be doing something right! A team of cleaners comes once a month to clean everything. I prefer Friday afternoons and they accommodate my schedule 100% and most of the time call to let me know they're on the way. On the rare occasion I cannot be home when scheduled, they work with me to reschedule. They are easy to work with, accept suggestions, are careful, and best of all the home is clean. Probably 8 years ago a glass decanter was accidentally broken and the company paid for it, no questions asked. I've seen the company grow over the years they've worked for me because of their reputation, because they hire good people, and because they evidently train their employees well. Even though they've grown, they've continued to maintain a high degree of quality.

The staff was very courteous and responded promptly to my call. Even though they didn't service my area they made suggestions of other companies that may. I will be sure to recommend them to my friends.

I used to use MTC but then I moved out of their service area so now I am sad that I cannot hire them again. I spoke to them recently to ask if they were going to expand to my area but sadly the answer was no. They always did such an amazing job! They are ecofriendly and efficient. I admire the fact that they use vinegar and elbow grease to scrub and get things clean! They clean things that I would never think to clean...like my washer and dryer! No dustbunnies lived in my house after MTC cleaned it! In fact, no dust of any kind could be found after an MTC team had gone through my home; I was always amazed! No problems with breakage or billing either. Love them!!

The team had a meticulous attention to detail and was extremely efficient, effective, and supportive in every way. They got everything cleaned up for the next habitant of the home and I left feeling secure that they did an excellent job and happy for a new fresh start in Texas.
