Description of Work: On a positive note, the women that schedule appointments are lovely and very helpful. Now for the bad news. I have a 600 square foot apartment that was not dirty but did have a lot of cat hair. They charged me $400 for an initial cleaning that left me wondering what they actually did. For example, they did not spot clean my walls, even though that was a part of the initial cleaning. They also quoted me $105-$125 for regular cleanings and on my first regular cleaning they again did very little and charged me $150 (which thankfully they refunded after I called to cancel my service). Finally, after canceling my service I had to keep bugging them to send me back my key. I used this service years ago and thought that they did a wonderful job. Apparently, something has changed.

Description of Work: Belen contacted me very quickly after I left a message. We discussed what was needed and a few things I was hoping were covered in the "Deep Cleaning." The time I wanted was in conflict with another client but Belen stated that clearly and that she would ask that client if there was a chance to rearrange things so both clients would be happy. She called me and told me it was all worked out. The cleaners came and had all the supplies as promised-even two vacuums. They wiped out my oven, cleaned the entire house and really did a great job. My only complaint and it is VERY minor, I had asked Belen for the ceiling fans to be cleaned and it was skipped. I blame myself for that as I did not ask the cleaners to do it. Our house is undergoing major changes with boxes and dust pretty much everywhere. I would very much recommend this service again and hope to use them again. I don't hire cleaners frequently because of cost but this was well worth the price and then some!

Description of Work: They provide us with monthly housecleaning of our condo townhouse. They do a great job and are extremely thorough. They are a little more expensive than others; however, they do a very good job and you can work with them to determine what aspects of your house you want cleaned (if not everything) to help meet your budget. They are also always responsive to any phone and email questions that I have had. I plan to continue to use them in the future and recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Contacted Merced everal days ago for estimate on townhouse cleaning. He returned my call @ four days later. Began conversation by stating that he would not do an estimate in person. Asked sq footage of our townhouse and I explained that I had no idea, and also explained that when we received estimates over the phone in the past they tend to change when the teams arrive to execute the cleaning as there are certain rooms that the teams do not enter at all (for example, the large room where our dog is crated is completely off-limits to strangers) and that there are also rooms with limited or no furniture (for example, our guest room has a bed that is changed monthly and no other furniture...there just isn't anything to clean...not even a headboard to dust!) He asked again for the square footage and I again explained that I did not know; I also explained that our townhouse cleaning cost would vary from other towhomes with the same number of bedrooms as we have so little furniture, the only carpets are on the stairs and in the loft, etc. He was unwilling to visit to provide an estimate and agreed that "this was not going to work." Seems to have no interest in new business...do not waste your time calling fror an estimate.

Description of Work: Good work overall. Three personnel showed up promptly at the time planned, and spent and hour and a half doing a top to bottom clean job. They left everything spotless, and even some of the hard-to-reach locations. The only thing we forgot to tell them was to leave the recycle in the recycle bin, rather they threw it out. No worries, and easily remedied.

Description of Work: This was a first time thorough cleaning. They brought three women who worked for two hours. My house was extremely clean when they left. They scrubbed and dusted areas that hadn't been touched in quite a while.
