We couldn't be more pleased with the process and the finished result. They were flexible with my schedule for the installation and were outstanding in the quality of installation. We love our new floors, and would highly recommend them for any flooring needs.

We needed to demolish and replace the kitchen and sun room flooring which consisted of tile and formica with wood flooring. The challenge was to match the 1940's and 2003 wood floors with the 2016 wood floors. I did not think is was possible but in just six days the job was completed and we could not be happier. Thanks to Marcin and his professional crew from Magni Flooring, you guys did a fantastic job.

Marcin was very responsive to my call to evaluate floors. When I received another bid, he worked with me to lower the price. He also suggested a way to avoid having to replace a water-damaged engineered floor, resulting in a significant savings. I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone looking for flooring or refinishing. The crew were excellent as well, prompt and considerate.

Marcin was extremely knowledgeable and professional, starting with the estimate phase (when he explained why additional coats of finish that weren't needed — not all estimates we got did that), into the refinishing phase (when he blended a custom color for us) and finally through the final inspection. His crew were also polite an professional. Incidentally, when I expressed my pleasant surprise that they filled in the cracks with wood putty (because other companies I've used haven't done that) he looked shocked and said, "Well, that's just part of the job, isn't it?" The red oak floors in our 1940-built home turned out beautifully, and the price was competitive. Can't recommend Magni Flooring highly enough.

I was able to get an estimate on the day that I first called Marcin. Marcin did not try and upsell me on doing the wood floors in the rest of the house but did point out how the main floor and staircases could be refinished to tie the first floor together. His crew would move the main floor furniture to the basement. We worked out a Friday, Saturday and Sunday we could be out of the house. He came back on Monday to move the furniture from the basement up to the first floor. The floor and staircases were magnificent! We couldn't believe how the previously scarred kitchen floor came out looking like new. I highly recommend Magni Flooring to anyone thinking about getting their wood floor refinished.

When we moved into our house we planned on replacing the carpet in the master bedroom and the stairs leading up to it but when I pulled up the carpet I realized that the subfloor needed to be repaired or replaced. So, we decided to inquire about a new subfloor and possible hardwood flooring install. I didn?t want prefinished floors because I wanted the new floors to match the original white oak downstairs and I don't love the gaps that can occur between each finished board. I called Marcin at Magni Flooring and told me he was in the area and could come out that morning to give me an estimate. I was at work and he ended up beating me to the house (where we already had Mendez Painting Services onsite) so when I got there he had already created an estimate for sanding and recoating the downstairs floors. I explained that I wanted him to give me an estimate for replacing the subfloor upstairs and for putting hardwoods on the stairs and throughout the master bedroom. He quickly measured it out and handed me a detailed estimate 15 minutes later. Marcin explained that Magni Floors uses oil based polyurethane because it produces a more uniform finish and is more durable. When you deal with Marcin you can tell he knows his craft and is serious about it. After I saw the new subfloor and how tightly joined the boards were for the first part of the hardwood (white oak) install, I knew we made the right choice. We even decided to ask Marcin to sand and recoat the original floors downstairs. He was already booked solid but agreed to squeeze this ?part 2? in for us. Our new hardwood stairs and floors are more solid and beautiful than we could have hoped they would be and we couldn?t be happier with the work that Magni Floors did for us.

Marcin and his crew did a wonderful job refinishing the living room and dining room floors! He came over beforehand and gave a free written estimate. It took 2 full days to do the job, then Marcin came back on the 3rd day to move the furniture back. I didn't realize how bad the floors were until after Marcin finished the job. They came out beautifully. He replaced the shoe molding and put on 3 coats of polyurethene. There was very little dust, they were meticulous in cleaning up after themselves. They sealed off other rooms with plastic sheeting to keep the dust out. I was very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Magniflooring and Marcin to others.

Owner Marcin Toroj is completely hands on from original estimate to final finished product - which is refreshing in this day and age.... Oak refinishing in 50 year old home looks absolutely fantastic. Even more impressive is the tile repair work completed in a a door threshold that was the result of settling that had taken place over the years. The hallway and sunroom tile was in excellent condition - only the threshold between the two was damaged. Marcin's willingness and skill to address the two uneven surfaces with contrasting/matching tile enabled us to save a bunch of money by not replacing everything. We are 100% satisfied with their work and would highly recommend. Price for high quality of work was entirely reasonable and fair.

Marcin was very professional, straight forward and thorough! He answered all our questions and completed the work exactly as he said he would - including a thorough clean up!

usedThis company is really really good!! The best part was that they were willing to repair that one area instead of doing the whole room which several companies had insisted on. The price was reasonable and did not increase once they realized the floor could not just be refinished but had to be replaced. All the adjacent furniture was covered they used a vacuum to cut down on the dust generated when the flooring was being cut out. They explained what they were going to do and did the work in a very professional and timely manner. They came when they said they would and were even early. (They spoke English! ) They blended the new finished area in with the rest of the floor so one cannot tell now where the damage was. Some furniture had been moved to accommodate the work, and they put it all back where it belonged. From beginning to end, a wonderful job. The floor is beautiful now!!I I will use them again when we have the upstairs bedroom redone.

Marcin Toroj came to my house, a few days after my call, to give me an estimate for the job. He listened to what I wanted and immediately gave me the estimate. And, although his estimate was a couple hundred more than another estimate I had received, my husband and I found that Marcin was a bit more knowledgeable. In other words, he really knows his flooring. Marcin told us when he would arrive, what he would do and how long the whole process would take. He was true to his word. Marcin and his crew of 2 removed the existing vinyl flooring in our sun room, put down insulation and installed the hardwood which they then sanded, sealed and polyurethaned (3 coats). Before Marcin started the job, I told him I wanted the new hardwood to match the wood in the adjacent dining room as well as the rest of the house. He said he would do the best he could. Well, his best was perfect . . . it looks great! I am so pleased. And, in addition, I showed Marcin an area in the dining room where a very large planter had stood and water had seeped out and ruined the floor beneath. For very little extra, Marcin & crew cut out the bad wood and replaced it. Now you can't even tell there was ever an issue there. I was so pleased with his work that I had him give me an estimate for another job I want done. Thanks, Marcin!

I interviewed about 10 companies. Some others on Angie's List that had good reviews. Some others were good, but I liked that the person that was actually going to do the work showed up to do the estimate. I like to meet the person who is going to show up for work before they come to my house for several days. First, several companies had much higher quotes Second, Magni flooring was the most talented - the floor was uneven and the previous contractor installed the thresholds incorrectly. He corrected this. The difference in the different levels of the floors is unnoticeeable. Others I interviewed didn't have a good fix. Just wanted to install a smaller threshold when the floors needed evened out. Third, the floors look great Fourth, followed up and professional Fifth, left place very clean - no dust If you want a professional, talented, craftsman higher Magni at a great price! Some others charged more or didnt have the correct solution. Except for one other company Magni's price and knowledge far surpassed others. My condo sold in 2 days! I am sure the beautfiul floors contributed.

It was easy to schedule the provider. He gave me a price and scheduling information immediately upon first meeting. He showed up as scheduled and did the work. The floors look as good as new. They did all the furniture moving etc I just had to plan to move the family out a few days. I would definitely use them again if the need arises. I would recommend them to anyone. This is definitely the type of job that you want to put with someone you can trust and these guys are trust worthy.

We had a very tight window for performing the refinishing of the hardwood floors between closing on the house and move-in date. Marcin came out gave us a quote and was able to start the next week. His quote was not the lowest but the quality of the work was outstanding and his responsiveness was great. I am willing to pay extra for great customer service and quality. My wife and I are extremely pleased with how the floors look and would definitely recommend Magni Flooring for hardwood floor refinishing.

Magni flooring did an outstanding job removing old carpeting, padding, leveling the floor, and installing hardwood floors in my living/dining/hallway area. Marcin and his team are very conscientious and take pride in their work. I am a tough customer to please and am glad to report I could find no short cuts or faults with the quality of the work performed. This company is "on the ball" and I would definitely use them again.

Magniflooring owner, Marcin provided us an estimate last Tuesday to refinish our worn kitchen hardwood floor and blend it to match the original hardwood flooring in the living room, dining room and family room. He thoroughly explained the steps his work involved. He did not try to sell us anything more than we needed or wanted, and we thought his price was fair. We hired him on the spot despite the fact that we had not yet considered any competing proposals. Marcin explained he could accomplish the three day task in March unless we wanted to start it the next day and finish it by Friday. We accepted the opportunity to get it done immediately. Marcin and his assistant prepared the kitchen Wednesday afternoon - moved a bit of furniture, protected adjoining rooms, and tapped 220V power from our main electrical panel for the sander. They started work at approximately 7:15AM both Thursday and Friday, advised us in advance of what they were doing that day and the impacts to our daily routine (no kitchen access, fans on, etc.) They were done by noon Friday, although the floor had to dry overnight before we could use the kitchen, and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly. We are 100% satisfied with Marcin and his work. The kitchen floor now looks great. We have already unhesitatingly and unconditionally recommended Magniflooring to a neighbor who wants to replace the carpet on the second floor of his house with hardwood.

I can just not say enough good things about Marcin and the work that he and his crew did for us. We just recently purchased a house and I could not stand the tile in the foyer and kitchen. I had him come in and he did the measurements, spoke to me about what I would like, provided some really great suggestions and was able to work up a quote right there on the spot. I really appreciated this since in the past I have come across vendors who usually have to go back to the office and inevitably they forget to send the quote when they say they will which drags the whole process out and can start the whole project off on the wrong foot. So they got started bright and early on a Monday morning and like Marcin told me, they were done in 3 1/2 days! The quality of the work was unbelievable. He had mentioned to me upfront that he would match the new flooring to the rest of the hardwoods in the living room and dining room, but honestly I was skeptical. I just wanted hardwoods and I figured if the color was off by a little it really would not matter. But he was true to his word...they match PERFECTLY! No one can tell the difference, not even me! I really enjoyed working with this vendor, his honestly and integrity was obvious and his work was flawless. I would hire him again in an instant and wish all of my vendors had been this easy and reliable to work with.

We recently moved into a new home that had carpeting over the original wood flooring. We removed the carpet and discovered the wood floors were in pretty poor shape and needed to be refinished. Also there was old linolium in the entrance way that was stuck to the wood flooring that we also wanted removed. Because the floors were covered with carpeting there was no shoe molding on the bottom of the baseboards so we also wanted to take the opportunity to air-seal the gaps between the floors and wall in an effort to make our home more energy efficient. We chose to work with Marcin at Magni Flooring because of his stellar reviews here on the AL site and we not disappointed with our choice. Marcin did an outstanding job and was extremely professional, punctual, neat, and helpful in his initial assessment, estimate, and refinishing of our floors. His service included showing us various stain colors on our sanded floors and applying three layers of finish to our floors. The actual refinishing process took about 5 days. From our positive experience, we found Marcin really is as good as these reviews indicate and we will not hesitate to work with him again, and will enthusiastically recommend him to our friends as well. IMHO, you will not go wrong choosing Marcin to create beautiful floors in your home like he did in ours.

We are new to the area and used Angie?s list to choose repairmen for our newly purchased home in Kingstown. The major renovation was to install new hardwood floors throughout the main floor of our townhome and also replace the worn carpet in the basement and on the stairs. Marcin provided us with a competitive quote, he wasn?t the lowest but we felt his references were the best and he seemed to understand what we wanted. Marcin communicated with us throughout the process, there were no surprises when the materials showed up and the when he said he would show up he did. His crew was respectful, hardworking and cleaned up after themselves. We had a couple issues, the carpet on the high traffic stair was not tight enough and some glue had dried under the stove that needed to be taken off. We didn?t notice these until three months after the installation so we contacted Marcin and he came out right away to check the issues and schedule a time to fix them for no charge. Marcin is the owner of the company and he also installs the flooring. He?s very knowledgeable, you can tell he?s been doing this a long time, and he?s passionate about doing a good job. The wood floors look beautiful, we couldn?t be happier with how they turned out and we know if we have any future issues we can contact Marcin and he?ll take care of it.

Marcin and his team performed efficient and high quality work on our floors. He gave me a quote the same day he measured and they started and finished the work on the dates and times he first told me. They did a beautiful job laying the hard wood in two rooms and on our staircase as well as refinishing our original hardwoods that had become dull. The new wood matches our old wood perfectly and the house looks great. I highly recommend Magni Flooring.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. I first met Manci when he came out to do an estimate. he was very knowledgeable and thorough. Price was good as well. He was very punctual- never late once, always a few minutes early. This, from my experience, is very hard to come by. The 3 of them did the whole job in one day. everything they have done looks great. they also took great care in not damaging other things in their way and cleaned things up extremely well afterwards. They even went above and beyond for a request that I forgot to discuss during the estimate- they ended up helping me haul a huge piece of carpet to the basement and placed it. It would had taken me a year to and it'd probably have come out horrible.

Once all MY OBSTACLES were out of the way, it was smooth sailing. Don't worry if Marcin doesn't smile. He's just thinking all the time to make sure everything is right. Marcin Toroj gave me a fair estimate on refinishing the hardwood floors on my recently purchased ranch home built in 1978. This included a dining room, living room, two bedrooms, a very large master suite, all associated closets, a long connecting hallway, and the stairs to the finished basement. The majority of the floors had never known any maintenance and there were some problem areas that Marcin pointed out might need replacing. His bid included all anticipated work. Due to scheduling conflicts, Marcin was flexible enough to start a week early. He and his crew arrived right after 7:00 am every morning and worked tirelessly for days. He asked that I stay for 30 minutes the initial day while he sanded the trouble spots to see if he could save them prior to replacement so that we would both be in agreement. Marcin coordinated his work with the other contractors in the house at the same time (complete kitchen remodel) without any interruptions. Watching him work is watching an artist perform his craft. The floors turned out better than I could have imagined and other contractors have complimented his work and asked for him as a referral. There were no additional charges. Marcin communicated with me throughout the process. He and his team insured that the property was secure at the end of each day, regardless if they used an entrance or not. I was so pleased with his work on the hardwood floors that I asked him to give me a quote on my ancient, decaying rather expansive storage and laundry flooring in the basement. After demolition, a ?slight? possible asbestos issue arose requiring a special adhesive that resulted in a schedule change. Marcin again kept me informed as to what was going on and why. Once again the floors turned out above expectations.
