Description of Work: They replaced an 18 year old furnace and air conditioning system with an upgraded and more efficient system. The removal and installation went as planned without problems.

Description of Work: They performed a home plumbing check (no charge, since work will be done next week). Home is 15 years old and not much has been done to plumbing, so it's time for some work - new shower cartridge, new hot water heater & pressure gauge, new washer hoses, two new toilets, two rebuilt toilets. All told, about $4000. Rep also gave me basic info on dryer vents and electrical work. Very helpful.

Description of Work: We have service contract with them, for many years. Our experience has been good at times, not so at others. I am not in the area, so don't have last time we used them. They will respond to emergencies most often on a timely basis. Again, our experience has been for a long period of time and some were not as positive as others, but we will continue to use them.

Description of Work: In the middle of a hot summer, the 20 year old air conditioning unit died. ME Flow first tried to keep it working, but warned me that it was on its last legs. Then, a week later it was done. They helped me assess a replacement that, while expensive, was a much more efficient unit and works great. They were very professional and helpful.

Description of Work: We have used ME Flow for HVAC maintenance for years, after they replaced our A/C during a heatwave when others tried to gauge us. This time we used their plumbing services, and were very pleased. They had to fix a problem caused by rip-off Angie's deal by Plumbing & Bath Plus. We now have a maintenance contract with them which includes an annual inspection and other discounts.

Description of Work: ME Flow has the contract for servicing our condo HVAC equipment. The service is part of our condo fee. That being said, they do excellent work and keep our equipment in good working order.

Description of Work: replaced a capacitor, cleaned a tube that had gotten clogged. charged me 125 dollars for a 10 dollar capacitor, 97 dollars to show up (ok), 80 dollars to figure out the tube was clogged which as I watched was cleaned in less than a minute and then an hour labor for the cleaning (apparently a minimum). Turns out after some research on the internet, the way he tested my capacitor was bad was phony, or lets say not the way the pro's describe on the internet. I asked for estimate to install two replacement AprilAir's which I had, and it was 700 dollars and they would come out a different day, and yep, wanted 97 dollar fee on top of that to show up. No thank you. Net/Net, Fast and very good service is knowledgeable people but felt like I was grossly overcharged. I proved this to myself with some post visit research.

Description of Work: M.E. Flow replaced the filters in our whole house water filtration system that they also installed one year ago. When they came to do this joy I also noticed and issue with one of our toilets and he was willing and able to fix it. Yes I would use them again and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Checked air conditioner which was not cooling properly. Performed abbreviated leak check and filled with one pound of coolant. Checked and confirmed that A/C was now cooling. A/C has worked properly for two months since the technician did the work.

After installation checked system for proper function and leaks. The technicians and company representative were very courteous and professional. I was impressed with this company

Description of Work: My 20 year old air conditioner died during one of the hottest weeks of this summer. They came out for a first visit and put a 'pace maker' on the unit and explained that it could go in a day, a month, a year... | |It lasted for 2 more days and then quit for good. ME Flow was super responsive, professional and took the time to explain what was happening and my replacement options.

Description of Work: I have an annual service contract with this company and the come twice a year to inspect my heating/air conditioning systems. They are very thorough and always explain what the are doing and clean up any mess that my occur.

Description of Work: The cost was for an annual contract which includes both a Spring and a Fall check-up. All checked out well with my A/C system, but every time an MEFlow technician comes out now, he has to push some new, additional service or product. Last fall it was replacement of my humidifier. This time it was for something called an Air Scrubber to be installed downstream of the fan unit to "clean, deodorize, and purify" the air. I don't doubt this thing works and would benefit allergy sufferers, but at $1140 installed PLUS an additional $295 every 2-3 years for a new bulb (the thing that sticks into the duct work and does the "scrubbing"), the added cost is not insignificant. I think the part I dislike the most and why I say they "push" new products/services vs. merely "offer" them is requiring that I sign their form stating my rejection of this "offer" as though to say that if I don't agree to pay them to install this new device right then and there, and if anything should go wrong in the future, they could use this rejection to avoid making good on the 10-year warranty of my HVAC system. In my opinion, arm-twisting like this isn't ethical and shouldn't be necessary. It smells greedy and over-reaching. That being said, I believe that MEFlow so far has not tryed to sell me any repairs that are not needed.
