Description of Work: Twice to address a hot water cylinder issue. First "fix" didn't work. Second attempt diagnosed different problem. "Fix" ended up being a "fix" of the first "fix". Two different tradesmen gave wildly divergent estimates of time to system failure quoting thousands of dollars for system replacement needed immediately or "in a few years. We are locked into a monopoly insectivores situation with M.E Flow. Every time they get to do an inspection they "manage" to find something as that they just have to fix.

Description of Work: I have had a service contract with M. E. Flow for about 7-8 years now. The one time we really needed them -- apart from twice-annual routine check ups -- they were very fast in getting the repairs done -- on a furnace still under warranty -- so two service calls, parts and labor at no (additional) cost to us. I did not contact them through Angie's List.

He also restarted the second floor system, which I disabled while trying to get both systems working. |They were able to get someone to our house despite the icy conditions in our area. | We have been customers of ME Flow for over 20 years and continue to be very satisfied with them.

Description of Work: Our Heat Pump was literally frozen. First time they camne out, they fixed the problem which reoccured within a few days. They came out a total of 4 times and charges mounted with each visit. After the 4th visit, we've had no more issues. I would not make ME Flow my first call with future issues.

They replaced my furnace about two years ago and did a very professional job, fitting a larger unit into my very small townhouse utility closet. With the exception of one time, the serviceman has always been extremely punctual.

Description of Work: The HVAC unit in my condo failed due, in part, to poor service provided by a prior contractor. ME Flow carefully identified the reasons for the failure, corrected all problems, and made several followup calls to verify that the solution was permanent. They were easy to work with as well.

Description of Work: We had been without heat for about two days during the recent cold spell (2/14-16-15). The gas furnace started operating intermittently on Saturday and finally stopped working at all Sunday afternoon. I went to Angie's List to try and locate any 24 hour emergency repair heating and cooling company that could come over and service my furnace that day. I left a lot of messages with various companies and talked with a lot of very friendly answering service personnel who assured me they would pass on the message. Bottom line...only one called me back that night...the service manager (Darren) from ME Flow. |We discussed the problem and he gave me a suggestion to get the furnace started and it worked. He also said he could still send someone over that night to check the furnace, but he was confident the heat would work and that if I could wait he would expedite sending a service technician over as early as possible Monday to diagnose the problem. Since the furnace was working, I said that would be fine. |At one p.m. the next day the service technician Fabian arrived. He didn't waste any time in determining the cause of the problem and was able to fix it in a timely manner. He was professional and courteous and answered any questions I had about the furnace. Kudos to ME Flow for returning my call and fixing my furnace. I appreciate their service and professionalism. |As for all the other so-called 24 emergency repair companies I tried to contact...I only got one other call back. But that call didn't come until mid-morning on Monday. By then, my service call from ME Flow had already been scheduled. |
