I interviewed four roofing companies to do the work on my house. I quickly discarded 2 bidders and negotiated with the remaining two. Lyons was the most flexible and cost competitive so I selected them to replace the existing shingles, gutters and downspouts and put covers over the gutters to prevent clogging. The Lyons technicians arrived as scheduled and began work immediately. I was called by Tom Patrilli shortly after they began work to let me know that there was an issue with the existing plywood decking in the back portion of the house. It showed signs of severe undulations that could make resale of the house an issue if not addressed. After I inspected the roof myself and further consultation with Tom and his project leader, I decided to have them remove the existing decking that was bad, level the supporting rafters below and install new plywood decking to fix the problem. Lyons did a terrific job of making the entire roof look solid and level. The crew worked tirelessly to get it right so that the problem would never reoccur. This was truly a case of the contractor and the homeowner working together to agree on a solution. The results exceeded my expectations. At the completion of the work, the project leader did a final inspection and made sure that all of the work was correct before leaving. Lyons are a credit to their trade. An exceptional experience. Called on Wednesday after roofer who installed roof was unresponsive. Tom, the owner, calls my mobile phone that day, schedules an Outlook calendar appointment for Thursday at 10 am. He arrives at 10 am. Surveys the roof, leaves video on my wife’s Phone displaying damage and work to be done. He sends electronic estimate and contract that evening, which permits a digital signature to approve. He schedules another Outlook calendar appointment for that Saturday. He crew arrives promptly at 9:30 am, works most of day. Finds additional damage resulting from poor workmanship of initial builder. Cleans up and leaves as if he had not been there. You could not ask for more. The customer experience is the best I have witnessed. I will highly recommend Lyons to anyone seeking roof repair.

Tom was extremely responsive and professional. I loved that we could track the progress from estimate/contract acceptance/work completion all online with his system. It was so easy. We got the Angie's List deal. Tom was very responsive and we were able to handle the entire transaction on line and over the phone. Price estimate was spot on. We asked for additional roof vents and some roof decking was replaced over and above the deal allowance. Cost was extremely reasonable compared to other estimates and Lyons had precisely the roof shingles we wanted. The roof was on in a day and trim took part of another. Roof looks magnificent. Great value!

Lyons cancelled first appointment shortly before they were due at our home. Rescheduled for first thing in the morning two days later. They were a no-show and did not call! Unreliable and unresponsive. They must be sitting on their laurels.

Tom was awesome. Responsive, knowledgeable,and low pressure. He came out to my house to look at my roof three years ago and said you have 3 more years left on this roof, call me in three years. We did and are very happy with the results. Tom worked hard to get me the best price possible. He climbed on my roof to help me pick a color of singles . The crew who did the work were friendly and hard working. The roof looks really nice.

It went well. Tom is very responsive and professional, and the new roof looks great. While there were a couple unexpected hiccups, Tom dealt with them promptly and professionally and kept us informed throughout the entire process.

Mr. Petrilli inspected the roof and told us it looked fine and would last another 5 - 7 years. When he was finished he took away the old gutter guards and said there would be no charge. We asked if we could give him $50.00 for his time and he said no to give it to the church. We certainly will contact him when we do need to replace the roof.

Met with Tom, the owner of the company. His bid was competitive, he followed up on everything as promised, and the roof replacement was scheduled quickly and completed on time. We ultimately went with Lyons because the bid included extras that the other companies didn't offer: added a ridge vent, painted a rusty vent pipe and repainted the flat roof on the home's addition. Tom and his job foreman, Ismael, kept us updated throughout the workday by texting photos of the job's progress, and Ismael answered questions and helped me inspect the roof first-hand when the work was completed. Overall a very good experience working with Lyons. I would recommend the company to neighbors in need of roof repair or replacement.

I bought a special and the additional square footage was at the same rate. We had a significant amount of plywood replaced too. They were very professional and responsive. There wasn't any problems with debris left behind or anything.

Overall a great experience working with Lyon's contracting and I would hire again. They provided a free quote which was not the cheapest but very competitive and I felt the extra few dollars was worth it after speaking with them due to their knowledge and professionalism. Due to weather issues (obviously beyond their control) the work took an extra few days to complete but Lyon's kept me informed of the progress throughout. The crew cleaned up after each day's work and left the area clean upon completion. Enjoyed working with the company and would work with them again.

Our thirty-year-old roof needed replacement. We chose a "deal" on Angie's List from Lyons Contracting and scheduled a a date, allowing for material delivery and weather. Tom Petrilli kept in touch with us via email and phone after his initial visit. (We had a slight delay for tree trimming.) Once the material arrived and work could be scheduled, the crew arrived early in the morning and worked steadily so that our new roof and cleanup was completed in one day. The new roof looks great and we are more than satisfied with our "deal" (and the small overage due to higher pitch).

Tom Petrilli showed-up when he said he would and was quick and professional. He sent the quote promptly and it was in-line with the Angie's List deal I had purchased. He kept me informed of when they would come-out to do the work. He was conscientious about warning me that the attic would be messy and recommended that I removing anything delicate. He was also careful to ask about any of the plants in my garden (I'm a BIG gardener) that may need special care. WONDERFUL experience and I highly recommend them.

Went very well. What can be said about about a new roof? Had a little delay due to rain, but didn't dock points for that. Quality was good and pricing was great. Only complaint is at the time the work was getting done, somehow we were missing 2 soffit panels. When we found it aftereward, we were told he'd come back to put it back on in a week or two. Never came back.

The estimate was a very fare and highly competitive estimate. The reason why we decided to go with Lyons was there A+ BBB rating, 4.9-5 point reviews on google, Angie's List, and Yelp. They came back out the same day of the estimate for us to select the shingle and was ready early the next day. They completed the roof removal and new roof in one day using high quality material. The clean up left the place spotless. Tom's foreman Ismail knows his roofing and follows the belief to do the job once and do it right. Real top notch company that I would recommend to anybody for complete roof replacement. We reviewed over ten companies and they didn't even come close on paper to Lyons. No reason to look any place else.

I am so happy with my new roof. They came on time, sent lots of pictures during the job so I could see what was going on, finished on time, and were meticulous about cleaning up. And no upselling or surprises. I learned a lot from Tom about roofs, and he was great to deal with. I would recommend Lyons without reservation.
