Tom Pietsch of Tom and Cindy Associates, part of Long and Foster Realty, did an outstanding job handling the sale of our home. He was very professional, hard working, and effective. He knows his business and the local housing market. Long before we were ready to sell, we asked for his assistance in deciding which improvements we should make to facilitate the sale. He came out to the house, looked it over, and cheerfully provided his expert advice without charge. When we were ready to sell, he did thorough market research to help develop a sales strategy and set a listing price and then kept the research current so that we could assess offers and anticipate the appraisal process. Diligent but low key, he was very effective in bringing us together with buyers and consummating the sale, even when the unexpected occurred. His expertise and confident approach inspires trust and confidence, making what is almost necessarily a stressful process much easier. Although most of our contact was with Tom, it was clear he was supported by staff and colleagues who were also pleasant, talented, and eager to assist us. We would definitely work with him again

We interviewed three realty companies before selecting Tom and Cindy and Associates for the sale of our town home in Alexandria, VA. Jason and Cindy came to our home to give us a detailed presentation on the marketing strategies that they provide to make sure that the home is presented to the market place in the best possible light. Jason Schneider was our agent and we were very pleased with his service. He was very knowledgeable and his experience provided for a very positive experience for us during the entire process. Jason was present at the closing to share with us the special event. This was actually the second time we used Tom and Cindy and Associates, both times with Jason. We could not have been more pleased both times. We originally used them to sell our townhouse in 2008 and purchase a single family home. Last year we again used them to sell our house and purchase new one. Jason and the rest of the team do an outstanding job from beginning to end. They provide valuable advice to help sell your home fast and at a good price. Jason in particular is a great agent, who patiently took us around from house, to house, to house without ever pressuring us to make a decision. He even took us to look at houses long before our house put on the market, so we could "test the waters" so to speak. We eventually ended up with a wonderful house that we could not be happier with. All in all, they did wonderful job. Their knowledge and experience make the home buying/selling experience a pleasure.

In addition to above, Tom and Cindy are extremely familiar with Kingstowne, where my property is located. While they charge top dollar for their services, they do produce.

They have been excellent. They are very responsive and they have an excellent website and marketing program for your property. They keep in contact constantly with us.
