Since that project, L and L General Contractor has been our go-to contractor, our first choice for the home improvement projects that followed the rec/pool room. The Ochoa brothers and their team have earned out trust and confidence. First class work, professional, reliable, reasonable prices. Their experience and advice was especially valuable in our bigger projects - the rec/pool room, portico, patio, decks - as the Ochoa brothers helped us choose the right options, designs and materials. We intend to carry out a few more home improvement projects in the future and look forward to working with L and L General Contractor. They do "it right the first time".
Description of Work: L and L Home Improvement General Contractor - the Ochoa brothers and their team - have done several home improvement projects at our home in McLean, VA between 2015 (rec/pool room) and currently (deck, project almost complete). (1) Conversion of an unfinished storage space in our basement into a fully-finished rec/pool room (photos attached). Project included drywalls, lights, hardwood flooring, painting, doors. (2) Installation of a water heater. (3) external painting - all wood surfaces (window panes, doors, frames supporting gutters) on a three-story house. (4) Installation of a ceiling fan and an attic fan. (5) Building a new portico, with lights and electrical outlets (photos attached). (5) Installation of a stone patio (photos attached), including laying its concrete foundation. (6) Installation of a two-story double deck (photos attached), using Trex, to replace existing wooden deck. Each of these six projects were "turn-key projects", including the supply of all materials. (they do offer the choice for the client to supply materials).

The finished master bathroom is beautiful and I have received so many compliments on it. I would hire this contractor again and would recommend him to family and friends without hesitation.

+ 7 moreThis is a family-owned business run by Luis Ochoa who does a large portion of the work himself with his brother. I have worked extensively with them and have always been impressed by the excellent quality of their work. They pay careful attention to detail, and have never tried to pressure me into doing more work than was necessary. Both brothers are extremely polite and considerate, and work constantly when they are here. I met with several contractors before I undertook the renovations on our home. L&L Home Improvements stood out because Luis immediately returned all my phone calls, and their pricing structure was excellent and fair. I strongly recommend this company without any reservation.
Description of Work: L&L Home Improvements renovated my kitchen including tearing down a wall, hanging cabinets, installing windows, installed light fixtures. In bathroom: installed vanity, shower door and sink & shower fixtures & pipes. In master bedroom: removed gas fireplace, electrical work. Under deck: replaced drier vent. In basement: installed windows. Painted dining room.Hung new front door and back doors. Trimmed down all interior doors to fit frames.
