When we called to check on the deal, we weren't sure if we need to replace our unit or not and the office manager gave me some tips to try to see if we could get it to work first. While they initially seemed to work, we soon found out that was only temporary and the unit was dying. I purchased the deal through Angie's list on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and Kramer and Sons called me first thing Tuesday morning. They scheduled our appointment for Wednesday between 9am and noon and were there promptly at 9. My wife was extremely pleased with the technicians punctuality, politeness, and professionalism. They had the unit replaced and the job completed within an hour. In addition, they left the work area spotless.

I purchased the '$75 for a Precision AC/Cooling System Tune-Up!' Big Deal from Angie's List on Friday, May 22, 2015. I received a call on May 26, 2015 from the Office Manager to set up the appointment. The appointment was set for 07:30am to 08:30am on May 28, 2015, Richard, the service technician, arrived promptly at 07:30am on May 28, 2015. He was extremely courteous and professional. He performed system maintenance on the A/C, and he cleared the clogged drain. He explained what he was doing each step of the process. The service went as expected.

They were good. They did what they needed to do. They did a good job.

Diagnosed HVAC malfunction Was professional, informative and reasonable in cost for the diagnostic testing ($59). I learned a lot about my system as he was sharing how he was problem solving the issues. It ended up being a simple switching of wiring from when I was installing a new thermostat I would have let him install the new thermostat but the technician wanted $186 on top of the $60 diagnostic fee I know everyone has to make money but that seems ridiculous for an additional 20 minutes of work. I was able to figure it out on my own. I asked about changing the kitchen faucet and he quoted me $425 in labor plus the cost of the faucet. I would use these guys again assuming the price is competitive.

We had scheduled Kramer & Sons to install a new kitchen faucet. Richard first went downstairs to the basement utility room to shut off the main water supply. He comes back up and asks, "Sir, did you know your basement is flooded?" I didn't. The sump pump had failed overnight and there was about 2 inches of water onthe floor. He retrieved a replacement pump he loaned us, contacted Fairfax Water, installed new turnoff valves, helped remove the water to mitigate damage, and was on the phone with me when I called our insurer to file a claim. So, for an expected quick and simple job, Richard wound up being here from mid-morning until about 7:30 PM. He called the next day to check in, and was back 4 days later to install the new pump.

They are very good. I would highly recommend them.

I called this provider to get a second opinion on some work recommended by a previous HVAC service company. Kramer & Sons help me confirmed the previous provider was trying to have me perform some unnecessary work.

Richard the technician was excellent - provided me with an explanation of the service and gave me tips on preventive maintenance. Overall an excellent experience!

Their drain division person was very prompt in arranging a visit to do an estimate. I believe they were out within 24 hours, and seemed very courteous. However, we never heard back from them, nor received an estimate for the work that needed to be done. So we had to go with someone else.

Response to my "emergency" (Saturday) call was fast, efficient, courteous, and very capable. Plumber (Dave) was very skilled, knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why and answered all my questions in addition to effecting the needed repairs. I can't imagine how Dwyer's response/service could have been more satisfactory.

This is the second time I have used Kramer and Sons for toilet issues in our home, which is currently a rental property. All of the people I have spoken to or emailed (Seth, Pam, Sadat, Richard) have been friendly and helpful. We manage our rental property ourselves long distance. To be able to count on a company like Kramer and Sons who efficiently and professionally communicate with both us as owners and our tenants is of great value and comfort to us. The toilet repaired during this service is a one-piece and parts had to be ordered. The parts arrived quicker than expected and the toilet was repaired as soon as the parts arrived. Kramer and Sons coordinated with our tenant to schedule a convenient time to return for the repair and promptly emailed us the invoice. I will definitely choose Kramer and Sons for all of our future plumbing needs. Added bonus: Our tenant commented on how great the repair tech was and that they were very professional and cleaned up afterward.

Replaced a very old garbage disposal that had been used far past its life space. the replace was quick, efficient and clean. I will use them again if ever I need a similar job done.

I received a call-back within 1 business day and was able to schedule a convenient time. They gave me a 4-hour window but called about 20-30 min. before arrival and they were on the early side of the window which I appreciated. Richard was very courteous and professional and got right to work on the check-up and I have to say was more thorough than others. Also, a big plus--he was not chatty, but explained his recommendations and wrote everything out for me to consider next time. I will definitely call this company again in the spring. I hope they will send me a reminder.

I have used Kramer and Sons several times over the last few years. The company and its personnel are extremely professional. My last contact/appointment with Kramer and Sons was on Thursday, 2/26/15 and was a follow-up appointment concerning a leak under my kitchen sink. Kramer and Sons wanted to ensure the problem would be resolved. The repair technician, Richard, was very punctual. Also, I had received a call advising of his arrival, from Pam at the Kramer and Sons office. Richard was very attentive to the problem and my concerns. He was incredibly thorough in his work and was polite and professional throughout the visit. I was very happy with the work that was completed and the problem has been resolved. I will continue to use Kramer and Sons for all my plumbing and HVAC needs.

Our first floor/basement HVAC zone gas heater failed on the evening of February 24, and we were able to call Kramer & Sons first thing in the morning to request a service technician to come that afternoon from 12-4pm. The receptionist who took my call was very friendly and helpful. However, when I hear large service windows like that, I get worried about no-shows. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from their dispatcher stating that the technician, Marty, was on his way around 1:00pm. Marty arrived on time and was very professional. He wore booties in my home to make sure that he did not trek and dirt in, which was a considerate touch. We have Carrier Infinity natural gas furnace, and upon inspection Marty diagnosed the issue was a failed 2-stage gas valve. This part is an O.E.M. part and needed to be ordered because Marty did not have it on his truck. While at my house, he wrote up a thorough estimate and was able to contact his office to determine part availability and price. Marty was also able to diagnose the issue with our whole house humidifier and stated that he had the part available to repair. Although we had one cold-ish night waiting for the part to arrive (thank goodness for our gas fireplace), Marty came to our house by noon the next day to repair the gas valve and the Carrier Solenoid valve (which was clogged). The entire experience was seamless from the first contact with the receptionist, the dispatcher (Sedat) and the HVAC technician, Marty. I highly recommend Kramer & Sons for HVAC service work.
