Description of Work: To stop my bath tube leak, replaced some pipes and interior of the bath faucet. Julio did a really good job. Since my building (and shower) is old, I knew it would be kind of dicey as to whether he'd be able to do anything without making the problem worse. But he moved slowly and completed the job perfectly, stopping the leak and making everything run perfectly. He provided detailed explanation of what might happen, with varying prices, depending on what was needed to complete the job. And then came in on the lower end of the costs. He was very professional, friendly and completed work in a very short amount of time. One small complaint, I had set the appointment for 9am-12pm with his office but he had 7:30am on his ticket, and that's when he arrived. Worked out ok, but office needs to get appointment times right. Maybe send a confirmation email when appointments are made so there is no mix up? |Thanks for the help and great service!!

Description of Work: Marty was great. He serviced my A/C unit last summer so he was familiar with its location quirks. The needed part had to be ordered, but the unit was fixed and running again within 48 hours. We also discussed the (older!) age of my unit and what will have to happen once it needs to be replaced. I'll continue to use Kramer for my A/C and plumbing needs!

Description of Work: We were pleased with the service provided by Mitch & Richard as part of the "Big Deal" we purchased from Angie's List for $75 for a Precision AC/Cooling System Tune-up. Because we liked their service, we purchased a Plan A Service Agreement for Spring 2014 preventive maintenance for $ 200.00. However, when we did some checking the following day, we were dismayed to discover how much we were overcharged for a replacement Aprilaire Humidifier Water Panel Stock # 35. We were charged $84.99 for a part that costs less than $8.00. For that reason, we decided to cancel the unexecuted Service Agreement. We could not be confident that we wouldn't be grossly over-charged in the future for any parts they provide. They promptly returned our deposit and explained in a letter that "costs are expensive and the installed price of $84.99 for the water panel includes more than just the cost of the material and labor. There are many other costs involved in day to day operations of a service business..." So Buyer beware about "Big Deals". It's a way for a Provider to get his foot in the door and then find ways to make up his discounted fee.

Description of Work: We requested an estimate for the installation of 2 faucets and some other minor repairs. The estimate was over $900. We got 2 other estimates, both much lower for the same services. We ended up paying a little below $300 for all the work. It's a shame because this company is very close to where we live and we would have liked to give them our business. They may do excellent work, but so did the plumber who we ended up hiring at one third of the price.

Made an appt w/ Kramer & Sons - they showed up on time - replaced the disposal that day - tighted-up some other plumbing issues , and did inspection of furnance & water heater at no cost- extremmely professional & I will hire them for all my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I have been a customer of Kramer & Sons Plumbing for at least the last ten years and they are an excellent company in every aspect. We have an older house and they have installed a replacement hot water heater, sump pump, kitchen faucet, fixed leaky pipes, and running toilets during this time. The company's customer service, responsiveness, professionalism, and replacement/repair work are exceptional. All of their technicians are super and a specific shout out to Nick B. is necessary. He is the utmost professional, courteous, does excellent work (always explains/answers questions when necessary), and was also instrumental in identifying a natural gas leak (outside) and speaking with the gas company on our behalf a few years ago. Kramer & Sons are not inexpensive but they are worth every single penny .
