I paid them with a credit card and they didn't give me any paper work or receipts when the work was done. They didn't give me any warranty information either.

They were very professional over the phone and very accommodating. They came out right away. The worker was new at installing the levers. He was the one to come back to inspect.

Serviceman was professional and courteous.

He arrived on time. The receptionist gave a window and the plumber was on time. He wanted to inspect all the plumbing which I did not agree to as we had just had a major plumbing job done. He said that to find the replacement cartridge it would take 3-4 weeks (I am not so sure), but he could replace the entire fixture in 3 hours. He had to take out a shelving unit in order to access the pipes to the shower. He cleaned up after himself.

Excellent. They arrived promptly and were extremely courteous. They were very quick and everything turned out perfectly.

Replacing the leaky shower system would have been $1,000, so we decided against it in favor of remodeling the shower altogether. However, Danilo did find a leak in one of the pipes leading to our washing machine. He fixed that expeditiously and competently. Although the $364 it cost us for Kramer and Sons to do roughly an hours worth of work seemed a bit steep to me, I've rarely heard of someone who HAS NOT complained about the exorbitant costs of plumbing, regardless of how small the job is, so it seems to me that Kramer and Sons prices are competitive in the overpriced world of plumbing.

My daughter caused a back-up in our main sewer line by flushing paper towels down the toilet. Needless to say, we had an emergency back-up on Sunday. They came right away. They snaked the main sewer line out to the street and pulled back paper towels. I know plumbing is expensive, but I felt this was a bit high. They did credit me with $20 for being an Angie's List member when I called. They were very professional and very polite. I would use them again, but I would check the cost before the service. I may also go with someone else who has high ratings and a lower cost on Angie's List.

The service guy, who had an assistant with him, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I like the company's approach - a fixed charge for the visit, and then a written estimate before doing any actual work. But the prices seem a bit steep - $171 to change a showerhead? (And that doesn't include the new showerhead itself.) I think I got my money's worth, but that included a lot of advice as part of the visit. They did a very professional job of opening the wall to get at the piping to reattach the shower, and they had to change some piping (at no extra charge) before they could attach a new showerhead.

I got 20 off. They scheduled it for the day I wanted them to come out. He was really good and he cleaned up after himself. He was in and out several times but he wore booties so he wouldn't leave a mess. He came in and explained the problem to me. He was really friendly. He left me some coupons so I could refer him to others. I would recommend them and use them again.

Once he was out and gave an estimate we decided not to use them. But they would not honor the discount they offered because we did not use them, and we ended up having to pay more than expected as the terms of the discount were not explained well in the first place.

It went very well, but the job was much bigger then we expected. They were very nice and they were very well at explaining stuff. The staff was courteous.

I heard about them through Angie's List and I explained the problem to them and they said they would send someone out. They were on time. A team of to guys. They gave me updates to what they were doing.

Excellent. I sent an e-mail on Sunday and received a call first thing Monday morning (and service a short while later). The Kramer and Sons employee was prompt, friendly, skilled and efficient. The small space under the sink was crowded with a disposal and dishwater hookups, but the installation still took less than an hour. It was pricey, but I don't think it was abnormal for plumbing services in this area.

I called at 7 a.m sharp. The company rep on the phone explained the flat rate dispatch fee and said he'd send someone right away, but it might take a little longer than usual due to road flooding. Brandon arrived about an hour later. He was very nice, examined the sump pump, and declared it dead. He was very good at explaining why. He showed me a pre-printed price list indicating the charge for installing a new sump pump, including labor. He was quick, great about explaining how the new pump worked, and cleaned up after he left.

Working with Kramer and Sons was an excellent experience. They promptly returned my email requesting an estimate, came to the house within 72 hours, provided a clear explanation of what they proposed to do (since there were multiple areas where they could have started searching for the leak, I appreciated the clear explanation), a clear estimate and found the leak on the 1st attempt. They finished their first visit when they found the leak, but needed to replace the broken fixture. They came back about a week later with the part and replaced the fixture, installed the new lines and values, tested and cleaned carefully up after their work. Throughout the process Danilo Rivera explained what he was doing, gave me options on how he could proceed, and communicated wonderfully throughout the repair. Consistent with other reviews of Kramer and Sons, they aren't the cheapest folks on the block, but I had no problem paying for the excellent service I received.

Serviceman showed up on time, and was very courteous. Resolved the problem in less than 30 minutes. It was costly (they charge according to the service performed, not according to time). It was an extremely expensive toilet clog!! For more extensive services, their prices might be more competitive.

When Mr. Rivera disconnected the access to the pipe in order to snake it, it was evident that whoever installed the fitted bathtub only cosmetically attached the spigot to the drainpipe. It was impossible to snake the pipe. Mr. Rivera and his assistant had to completely rebuild the pipe from my bathtub so that a new spigot could be installed as well as install new piping and a new 1-1/2 PVC glue trap connecting the drain line. Before commencing any work Mr. Rivera told me as well as showed me what work was needed. He also went over Kramer & Son's pricing, which is a three step down pricing. For every job, the price was reduced by a percentage. The work took approximately 5 hours to complete and was done to my satisfaction. Mr. Rivera didn't have a part to fix my toilet, but the manager brought him the part so that I would not be charged for another visit. The initial service fee was waived and I received a discount. My bathroom was left clean.

Called in the morning. A plumber was on site within 2 hours. I was impressed when he entered the foyer and immediately put on "booties" over his shoes so as not to soil the carpeting. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered two solutions...quick and inexpensive, but maybe temporary (2 years) and expensive, time consuming (one day) but permanent solution. As it was the inexpensive solution took less than 30 minutes but was pricey for the work done (reglue some pipe components). There was no mention of the $20 discount coupon that they offered for Angie's List participants though I told him I got the name from Angie's List.

They did a great job, fixed it without having to tear out any tile or drywall. It works great.

I called them on Wednesday afternoon; they came first thing Thursday morning. They assessed the problem quickly and fixed it, explaining what they were doing the entire time. We were extremely satisfied. We will most likely call them when it comes time to do some longer, more complicated overall repair and replace work on our house.

The service itself was good, but, when I checked prices for this brand of garbage disposal (Badger), it was $79.99. The total installation cost was $426.79. That means that I was charged an incredible $346.80 for installation. That was not acceptable.

They were very friendly from the start. They called 20 minutes before they arrived to say they were on the way. They also put on little booties to protect our floors. They explained everything they did and also what we should look for in the future to know when the water heater needs replacing. We have used them lots of times before and each time it has been a very pleasant experience.

The plumber arrived promptly, was polite, took care to be tidy, explained everything, and gave me options for less expensive repairs.
