They did this quickly. They came on time and were very nice. Their price was reasonable, I have paid much, much more in the past. I would absolutely hire them again.

Their price is ridiculous. The other company charged us one third of what Kramer wanted to charge us. We had this done for $189 which is quite a huge difference. We wouldn't use them again.

Frank Brennan Tile is the division of Kramer and Sons Plumbing Services, Inc. that does all tile work. A crew of 3 plus Frank Brennan performed excellent work. With Frank's suggestion, we chose the tile at a mosaic tile company in Lorton, VA. Since the tiles we choose were much more expensive than the estimate, he worked with us in the design to moderate the final cost. The end result was beyond our expectations.

They recommended Mosaic Tile from Lorton, VA for the tile since the billing would flow through Kramer and Sons (a convenience). We chose porcelain tile for its look and wear characteristics. The work went very well, and the end result was outstanding. We are completely satisfied with all the work done by Kramer and Sons Plumbing Services, Inc.

They also gave me recommendations for more permanent solutions that I could do, and gave me approximate prices and how to approach the problem in the future. They were not putting any pressure for me to do the work now, but gave me a good idea of how to approach this and similar problems that might develop in a 26 year old house.

I called them and they came out and give me an estimate on this part I need replaced, they guys that came out were very professional and courteous but their prices were very high so we elected not to go with their services.

They did a good job. The repairman was very neat and clean. He showed up on time. He answered any questions I had. My biggest problem with the company though was the price was outrageous for the type of work they performed.

They are a truly fantastic company: truly unbelievable. My sister said she'd never in her life seen plumbers like these. They're very professional. They're prices aren't inexpensive, but it doesn't matter because their quality is outstanding. They show you the prices before hand so you don't have any surprises. They also show you your options. They always explain what was wrong, and how they're going to fix it.

They were excellent. I had many other plumbing companies come out to fix the toilets and they were never able to fix the problem. Kramer and son's was able to fix everything very well and they were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I would highly recommend.

I called Kramer and Sons to get an estimate on having a toilet installed in my parents' home. The receptionist, while very friendly, was unable to give me even a ball park figure over the phone, but did inform me that the prices were "per job" and not based on a hourly rate. Because of the high rating that Kramer and Sons had on Angie's List I decided to hire them despite the lack of a price estimate. The technician arrived on time and was extremely professional and personable. When I told him what the job was to be, he informed me what the price was and I was shocked, but since it was important to me to get the toilet installed as quickly as possible (my mother has Alzheimer's Disease and it was her toilet that I was replacing) I decided to have the work done even though the cost was twice what I was expecting based on other estimates that I had received. The technician installed the toilet quickly and tested it to make sure that there were no leaks and even hauled away the old toilet at no charge. Over all I was please with the service. I just don't understand why, if their services are base per job, no estimate could be given over the phone. It seems to me that all the receptionist would have to do is look it up and say, "There is a fee of $49 just to have the plumber come out to your home and then to have a client provided toilet installation costs $545 on top of that."

We had water on the floor in our downstairs bathroom after being out of town for a week. We could not find the source, so we contacted the plumber. I did the initial call via the internet, and I got a phone call within a couple of hours verifying the appointment. I was informed that they charge by the job rather than by the hour, so there would be no surprises. And there were none. I felt a little stupid when the guy showed up and pointed out that the toilet was leaking from corroded bolts holding the tank in place, but he was able to fix everything with parts on his truck. He was courteous, clean, and efficient. My wife and I are very pleased.

The experience was wonderful, they were out quick and ordered the part and within three or four days were back to install. They did a great clean up job and explained how the system worked, they were very thorough.

Everything went great. I never have any problems with them, and I've been using them for at least five years, ever since they moved into the neighborhood. I wouldn't trade them for another plumbing company. They're very prompt and responsive, and it helps out a lot that they're only five minutes away. If something doesn't go quite right, I can call them and they'll get back there as soon as possible.

Danilo arrived as scheduled. Spent some time looking at any issues that might arise and preparing a quotation. He carefully explained all of my options and the prices. I decided what I wanted to have done and he got started. At every stage he kept me informed of progress. The work took a little over 4 hours and we thoroughly tested everything before he started to tidy up. When he left he cleaned up so well that I would not have known he had been here. He was polite and professional throughout the visit. Kramer's use a flat rate charging system and one thing I agreed and paid for was a charge for gaining access to the pipes. The charge for this was $176. Although I had agreed to this I thought about it after Danilo left and realized that all he needed to do was to cut an access hole in drywall for which I thought $176 was excessive. I contacted Kramers the next working day about the fee and they responded immediately with an offer to refund most of the access charge. There was no hassle or pushback and I felt they lived up to their claim that customer service is their top priority.

I selected the firm based on their Angie's list score and their proximity to my address. The plumber came to give me a cost estimate to do the work. The total cost of my work list met my requirements, and he was prepared to do the work immediately. All the work was completed on the same day, and everything worked perfectly. The areas in which he worked were very clean when he left the premises. I have scheduled a complete shower stall renovation with the same firm in September. (Tile work is done by a separate crew in the company.)

K&S staff were very polite and professional. Arrived on-time. Very satisfied with service except for the price of labor which I found higher than expected. K&S does not charge by the hour, but by the job. Most job costs are pre-determined by a fixed price chart of services. For example: replacement of toilet flushing mechanism ($250). My Pharo/Hansgrohe shower unit is imported from Germany. Replacement for faulty hot/cold valve had to be ordered, taking 5 days, cost $220. Labor & tax, etc. to install valve was an additional $580, for a total of $800.

We just bought a house with a bad water heater. The home inspector said it should be replaced. I called Kramer & Sons first thing in the morning to set up an appointment for replacement. Communication was excellent. I was informed that they could be there around 10am the same day; was called again to say the technician was on his way. Nick got there on time, completed the work in 2-3 hours, and was very informative and friendly. It was an easy experience for a first-time home owner.
