We called them unsure if we needed a new disposal since water was leaking from our old one. We felt pushed to purchase the big deal, which we did. We found that the old disposal just needed to be resealed and a bolt replaced since we just had the counters replaced. While the technician was here, he kept pointed out other jobs that they wanted to do for high cost like a faucet replacement for $800, which we did not need done.

Kramer & Sons came through for me in a big way. I found a significant leak, called a local plumber to come by and assess the problem, got my insurance company involved to get the damage assessment and the restoration company arranged to remove kitchen cabinets and drywall to access where the pipe needed repair. I'd also estimated a couple of days for the repairs and had scheduled the day when the restoration company would come back and do all the work to put my kitchen back together. I was desperately trying to minimize the amount of time my kitchen would be torn apart and my upstairs bathroom would be inoperable. All that took about a week to get done and the day before the plumber was to come by and do the repair, they called to say they were short on workers and wouldn't be able to do the repair. They'd done a few small jobs for me before, but they're a small company and i was regretting counting on them to be able to turn around a job like this. Immediately I called Kramer and it was no problem to get Julio, an experienced and professional plumber, here the next day to get started, even knowing it was likely a two-day job. It was nothing short of amazing to be able to keep everything on schedule on short notice. Additionally, Julio is very thorough, takes time to explain everything, show exactly where the problems are and how they'll be repaired. The work area was cleaned up at the end of the first day and again at the end of the job. He told me a few things he suggested I follow up on, like to buy a drain cover for the basement floor. Their prices are a little higher than the couple of other plumbers I've worked with, but this situation could have been a nightmare - it wasn't and I absolutely won't hesitate to use them again given their complete reliability and quality work. Kramer also does the maintenance on my HVAC system and I have total confidence in their expertise. Like Julio, Marty takes time to explain any issues or problems and confirm the right approach to resolve it. Finally but not insignificantly, Candace who I've dealt with on the phone to get appointments scheduled is terrific. Responsive and helpful. I appreciate that Kramer & Sons cares about delivering excellent service and taking good care of its customers.

The work was quality, the technician was professional and the company was responsive. The only complaint is that the price is extremely high, if I didn't need immediate service I would have shopped around and this will probably keep me from using them in the future unless its a major job where quality is of the utmost importance. The job took 3 hours and probably 30-50$ worth of material. That means the labor was over 400$/hour.

They are very quick; they are quick to respond. I feel the pricing is competitive with other companies offering the same services and they are really very clean and that's important to me.

Julio said several times to get a second opinion, I got the impression he did not want to do the job. He said in order to get to the valve that needed replaced, he would have to remove the garbage disposal and then put it back. I could not believe his quote. I looked on Angie's List again and called Peed Plumbing. They came a few hours later, were able to access the leaky valve and replace it without removing the garbage disposal, and charged $85.00.

It was a clog that i though I could take care of, but after using chemicals, snakes, and plungers, I finally gave into calling the plumber. He was prompt, professional and thorough. Although plumbing work like this is not guaranteed, he made sure the problem was completely fixed before he left.

On the day of the survey, Seth Kramer came over, on time. He listened to my requirements and recommended a solution that matched our preferred installation of the backup sump and gas line. He also heard that I was not satisfied with the current primary sump and suggested a low cost solution that would take care of our issues with standing water in our sump well. He also arranged for a team of guys to take care of our downspout/sump drainage issues outside. A water powered sump generates a lot of water, so we needed an appropriate means to get the water away from the house. The outside team did an awesome job. They installed a underground drainage system that is very discrete, but can move a lot of water away from the property very fast. Most importantly, Seth and the guys he works with listened, and provided technically sound solutions! Seth wasn't just some salesman there to get you to sign a contract. Seth himself showed up the day of the job, worked on the job, made sure that the work was top notch and that our basement was clean and yard was restored. Kramer and Sons provided better workmanship than anyone I have ever worked with on this house. The price of the work matched the quality of the workmanship.

He was clearly an expert at what he did. He explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it. I felt confident in what he was doing.

My experience was very good. They did it really well, I got an estimate and it was reasonable but maybe a little bit expensive. I read reviews about them and people liked them so I went for them. So they did a really good job and their master plumber is a really nice guy. I renovated the bathroom myself but they did the plumbing.

Kramer & Sons Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning have been fabulous. They're just wonderful. They're really fast. They came the next day. They gave me a lot of hints and tips to avoid clogged drains in the future.

When we discovered our leaking water heater I new wee needed a new one. Ours was 10 years old. I contacted Angie's List and Kramer and sons was one of the suggested plumbers. I decided to give them a try. When I called I was told the soonest they could come was the following week. Since the leak was not serous, I caught it early, we should be alright. When the plumber came sure enough we needed a new water heater. A new unit was installed. No more leaks. I have found my best He was nice, explained how to shut off the unit should the need arise. It was overall a good experience.

They have licensed plumbers which we really needed, and they were prompt to fix the problem.

The technician was very polite. He took the time to lay tarps to protect my carpet when he removed the old heater and brought in the new one. He arrived on time and worked steadily to complete the job in a timely fashion. I would use them again.

The provider, Julio, showed up right on time. He gave us an estimate, which we approved. Within an hour, our toilet was working and Julio was on his way. The work was professional and we have had no problems with the results. The only negative is that $400 seems high for the work done and the parts provided. That amount includes a $59 non-refundable charge for coming to inspect the problem and provide an estimate and also reflects the $20 discount for Angie's List first-time customers.

My wife tried to get an estimate for the cost when she made the appointment--no luck (see below.) No cost per hour available either. Plumber came on time, good English, job done in an hour. Cost--exorbitant. He showed us their price list for the job--as mentioned above, $530 for 60 or 75 minutes of SIMPLE work and for parts totaling about $25. My complaint is that the price list existed, but they would not tell us on the phone. As the plumber said, the receptionist knows zero about plumbing, so I suppose it's reasonable for her not to make guesses. We went ahead. We had arranged for a different company to do it, and they supplied us with hourly cost-- about $90 for the first 30 minutes and about $70 for the second 30 minutes, but cancelled to get it done quicker. If we had said "no" after seeing the list, I certainly expect that we would have been charged for the service call for nothing--except an education in how to do it better next time. Moral--no estimate of either the price for the job or the cost per hour--keep looking. I think that their procedures are not customer friendly and must lead to disappointment and unhappiness.

I was shocked that they sent someone to our rescue within the hour (today is a holiday). The technician diagnosed the problem immediately. It was the unit upstairs that was leaking from condensation. He even went upstairs to tell the occupants to turn off their air conditioning! They charged us a reasonable price for coming out on a holiday and diagnosing the problem. My husband said, "hire them again - they were honest and professional." And to sweeten the whole deal, they gave me $20 off the price - a special for Angie's List members!!! So it cost me $39.00. What a relief to get help quickly when you need it. I will be calling them for now on......

The technicians from Kramer were a few minutes early and completed the work within an hour. They were the utmost professionals - they explained what they were doing, and answered all questions we had. I would recommend them in the future.

My AC/Cooling unit was not blowing cold and it was 90+ degrees outside. They showed up right on time, then methodically worked their way through the diagnostic. They then provided a thorough explanation of the issue, cost to fix, and preventative maintenance recommendations. Their price was high I thought, but for the quality service its probably well worth it. I will definitely call them in the future for any heating/cooling issue I have.
