It was more expensive than I thought and the field dirt that they used had little pieces of glass in it. Other than that, its really beautiful and I like it.

arrived on time and performed the service. I've also used them for some routine lawn maintenance while living in Alexandria. Always easy to work with. Punctual and very good. Keep the grass growing in areas of my lawn that are difficult to grow because of tree shade.

Outstanding. Kingstowne is a fire & forget lawn & landscape company. I've used them for 4 years and have been totally satisfied by their service. Whereas some may consider them a bit pricey. I view it as paying for the piece of mind knowing that I won't have to follow-up with them nor will they slack off on their quality.

We showed him our yard and the patio area we wanted to cover with pavers, or something. He went through the options with us and helped narrow down the choices. We weren't sure about color selection so he set up a meeting for us to go to Manassas Stone and view the different colors available. We found a color we liked but it wasn't in the pavers he had done estimates on. I asked him to re-calculate an estimate based on the new paver which he did. We just signed the contract and are waiting for a scheduling date for the work.

We worked with Amanda, Landscape Designer, on replacing an old deck that was on a hill that sloped towards our house. She suggested a deck/patio combination that would make the area one, level space with a retaining wall and drain. This opened up the space and provided more usable space while also directing water to the side of the house. The result is just beautiful and we've gotten many compliments from our friends and family. Finally, to help control erosion and provide a pretty, functional path, they installed a stepping stone pathway with groundcover. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

I think in my neighborhood I was probably the first person to start using them because I was familiar with them when I lived in another area. Since that point, there are other people using them in my neighborhood. I've always been pleased with them. Two to three people come out to do the work. The work they perform is excellent. They give you a time frame. When you do your plan, you schedule how often you want them to come. They will give you an idea. Not exactly, but they will always be there within that day. That's for sure.

I have been using them for many years. They are consistently good. They are reliable and do good work.

Super job -- thank you! The crew did a fantastic job in all facets of the contracted work. The flower beds were well cleared before the mulch was laid. The edging was done very neatly and precisely. And, the laying of the mulch was also done very meticulously. I will definitely hire them again, although I hope to see the price go down just a bit. Extra kudos to Mike Perez, senior account manager. He was extremely professional, proficient, and very responsive. Thanks for a job well-done!

Awesome! Amanda, the designer, came and we discussed my needs. Work was performed earlier then expected which was great. I saw 2 different crews and they both were outstanding. Knowledgeable and professional. Showed up on time as planned. Reseeded areas of yard that had traffic. So pleased with the final product.

It went really well. Amanda came on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. She was able to have different visions for our yard, all while listening to our requests. She came up with different ideas and was able to price them up in different proposals.

They were punctual, he just scheduled it online, and they left no mess.

It was okay, we never proceeded with that. We had an area that actually relates to the trees that grass had essentially died off because of the canapy and we were looking to sort of make it look nicer. They came out and made a design of what they would recommend but we decided not to pursue it with them. They were going to plant other trees back there and add a walkway to just put in some nice plants and rocks and stone. I thought their price was a little high for what they wanted to do. I don't think we were ready at that point to jump at what they wanted to do either. It was probably a little bit on both of us. They did a decent job as far as design went. They would be somebody to consider. They did a perfectly good job with that, it was a good design.

It was fine, arrive on time and drafted a design for our front yard.

Consultant called 7 minutes after our appt was to start to tell me that she would be another 15-20 mins late. GPS trouble apparently. The first quote I got for fencing a small yard and removing a tree and trimming another had 51k in the total. When I said thanks but no thanks, she told me that I was reading the estimate incorrectly and that she had included three types of fencing into the total. Helpful. The revised estimate was $8k, which was better. However, I found the whole experience so off-putting that I would never consider using this company.

Kingstowne was really easy to work with and did a great job. I needed one time leaf removal for both front and back yards, and there were leaves all over, and Kingstowne got it all. I worked with Tim at Kingstowne, who was very fast to come take a look in person to give me a quote, and then was upfront with me that it would take a few weeks to get to me given the workload and the weather, and kept me updated on when I could expect service. I also had them give me estimates for a couple other things I haven't had done, and Kingstowne was very responsive. I didn't do a lot of shopping around, so can't say how their price matched up with others, but the service was great.

We are on a couple of plans with them so one is around $65 and the other is like a $120 and then it depends on what they do. It is an excellent service. They show up when they say they are going to show up. They normally send an email or call the day before and that works great, so no complaints. Everything is great.

We are happy with them. They are on a schedule.

We had an annual plan with them and it costs about $500 yearly. They do not do very much because it is a very small area. They do everything they say they are going to do and they leave a sign in the back yard to let us know they have been there. We have not had any problems with them. They have been fine.

It was fine. A consultant came in and assessed and took a look at things, and then she went back and did an initial planning with their proposal. I just received it through email and that was it.

More or less it was good. They did their work. Scheduling was a little tough. Once they did the work, it was very efficient. They did a very good job. I had a slight complaint about was that they cut down one of the bushes a little too much. They did a great job.

It took me quite some time to actually get them to the property, and what they delivered was not exactly what I expected. It seemed like all they really wanted to do was sell me a whole landscaping project. I was not impressed.

They are a great company and I intend to use them again in the spring.
