Description of Work: We just moved to our house and had some care to the lawn we were looking at doing and also some longer term projects we wanted to get some suggestions and advice and then set up a plan when we should be doing all this with them. | |I finally get a call back after a few days and was told we wouldn't even have the opportunity to meet with somebody. They would come out, probably not when we would be home and then they would provide an estimate of what they felt would be best for us. Um, what? And then when we talked about landscaping projects, she jumped all over me and said that would be something all together different and I should have said that. The conversation just deteriorated and was not what we were looking for. | |To me, cold-calling q company, this is the first chance to make an impression and they just fell short of hitting the mark. Looking for the next company to set up a long-term relationship for our yard care.

Description of Work: They installed a French drain that transformed our back yard from a swamp into a grassy slope.

Description of Work: This is the second time we have used them for landscaping. Extended our paved walkway, removed a lot of old bushes around the house and replanted new ones. Upgraded the front big circular planting bed's hardscaping and added new plants and mulch. Added new plants and mulch where they removed old juniper trees. We re-graded part of the yard that had sunk and had new grass planted. Added mulch around two other big trees. This was done over a few months to include Winter work and Spring work so that hardscaping and removal could be done during the winter and the other proper plantings could be done in the Spring. I only rated the pricing as a B because with landscaping materials and plants, prices are so variable based on availability and time of year that is it hard to verify comparables and I wouldn't ever be able to give an A to any landscaper I would ever use. The design was great and the people doing the work were wonderful. Their goal is to make sure you are happy with the results. Even with the weather this past Winter and Spring, they were ready to come by and do the work they could between storms. Thrilled with the results! Used my Angie's list coupon as well.

Description of Work: Built a walkway from my front door to the driveway. We had a dirt path with a couple of well worn rocks serving as a walkway. The walkway was built with stone pavers. |Had a great experience with Kingstowne. The crew showed up early on Tuesday morning, worked through lunch and had the job completed well before 4 pm. Workmanship was outstanding. Communications was outstanding, the crew ran into a problem with my yard sprinkler system. One of the sprinkler water line ran underneath the area where they were putting the walkway. They had to relocate the sprinkler head as well. The team informed me right away, and told me there would not be any cost increase for relocating the sprinkler head. Great Job.

Description of Work: Kingstowne Lawn and Landscape took a few weeks to get them in to start working on our lawn. Changing services and payments were easy because of their online system. I stopped using their service because of the timing of their mowing. We were scheduled to be mowed on Tuesdays. It was raining one Tuesday and they mowed anyway (you should not cut wet grass). The grass was not cut evenly, and there were clumps of it left in the yard. I called to complain and was told they would come back out on Wednesday and fix it. While they re-cut the lawn, the clump remained resulting in the dead patches in our lawn. I called to ask why the cut the grass on Tuesday if it was raining. They said that was "our day" so they cut it and they could not reschedule to another day just because of the rain. Shortly after, I canceled service.

Description of Work: kingstowne landscappong redesigned a small area in my front yard which included weeding, laying new shrubs, placing stones (already owned), mulching and laying sod.

Description of Work: I bought the consult deal and they came out to assess the property and answer my questions. Then provided a follow up bid for the work we'd discussed. My only negative was that I had to ask for the bid when it hadn't arrived within a week, then they followed up really quickly to ask if I wanted to move forward with something from the bid.
