Jamie came out and it went very well. They are a little overpriced. Also, we had to reschedule a few times so they were difficult to get ahold of. However, she did a great job and took good care of us when she did make it out.

The landscape designer, Mr. Macbeth, was always prompt in returning phone calls or emails. His design was very appealing with curved wall features. The workmen worked quickly, quietly and efficiently. They removed some older plants and replanted a large azalea for me. Mr. Macbeth provided a list of appropriate plants for the area which I was very grateful for. The overall price seemed high but it was a very satisfactory job.

Workmen arrived exactly on time. Our designer, Alan, arrived to set up the job and returned periodically to check progress. The project took 4 days with minimum disturbance to neighborhood. Materials arrived the first day and there was no delay in removing the old and grading for the new. Alan chose pavers that matched almost exactly the 7 year old pavers of the driveway. The latest technique and materials were used to ensure negative/minimal weed growth and movement between pavers. We were pleasantly surprised that the stoop was to be enlarged from the original. All the debris was removed daily. The crew took short lunch breaks and left the job later than we expected (or had experienced from work done by other companies previously). The foreman on the job was very knowledgeable and a perfectionist. The curves and attention to detail is so appreciated. We absolutely love what we got and will absolutely hire Kingstowne again!

The project went very well. It was orchestrated with precision. We were in frequent contact with our project manager and felt very comfortable with the crews. We came in on budget and the project was completed on time. The lighting has made a huge difference in how our home looks at night. We now feel like we live in a custom home. We have already recommended them to friends and neighbors. We would enjoy working with them again.

From the start, Kingstowne was extremely professional and responsive. After we received the quote for the work and wanted to move forward to next steps, it was easy to get in touch with our account manager, Mike Perez. We spoke to 5-6 other providers and Kingstowne was very competitive. I think the only downside is not being able to pick a date for the service (in our case the holly removal) -- they fit you in the schedule as they have room. But if you ask the scheduler to call you when your appt. is scheduled they will do that, so you can plan ahead. The removal of the holly was done to perfection - they removed the bush, edged the area around where the bush was and put down some topsoil. We were very pleased with the work they did. We are still underway on lawn treatments and have only had 1 so far -- but they came out when they said they would and left a sign in the yard so no one would step on it. Overall, highly recommend and will definitely continue to use them in the future.

Kingstowne does a great job. They are not cheap, but they are very organized and dependable. They call before they do a major job to let you know they are coming. The result is fantastic, our lawn and landscaping looks BEAUTIFUL! It is the envy of the neighborhood and we get many compliments on the beauty of our lawn and landscaping. We have been with them for many years and I highly recommend Kingstowne!

I called Kingstowne Lawn and Landscape to provide an estimate for general landscaping and a backyard patio. They were very professional and prompt. Mark, the designer, spent a great deal of time going over various detailed options for the landscaping and the patio. In the end, I selected a different contractor for the work, however, I would not hesitate to call Kingstowne for an estimate.

They are very good. They are reliable, dependable, and quick. I do feel they are pricey for the size of my yard but I am happy with the services.

The gentleman came to our house and inspected the property while providing great suggestions, but he never responded with the plans.

I’ve used them for years. They’re nice people to work with, are reliable, and do a good job. When they’re coming out to do a bigger job, they usually give me a heads up to prepare the lawn (mowing). They’ve been excellent and I have no complaints at all.

I used the team at Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape to do some landscaping projects for me last month. The team at Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape does really good work and the employees always act very professional. I will continue to use Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape in the future.

They did a superb job. They do a lot of stuff like landscaping, maintenance and I think they have added painting and everything. They are trying to broaden their base to bring in more money. They are local. They did an absolutely job. It was about $5000 that I spent on that service and it was not cheap. I thought that the price was overly high, but they did very good work. There was some damage done when there was a thunder storm and the water from my neighbor’s yard poured into my side yard, so I had to get somebody out to restore the side yard. I had to have some sort of drainage system put in, so when my neighbor’s yard overflows, it doesn’t ruin mine. I have never had a problem since and there have been awful lot of thunder storms, so I am not going to complain about the price. The quality of service was extremely good. I would use them again if needed.

I had some landscape work done five years ago. I am very pleased with their service.

My experience with Kingstowne has been great and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. They are a bit pricey, but their work is worth every penny. My only issues with their service has been their responsiveness. I noticed that they require significant follow-up to arrange scheduling of the agreed upon service when weather delays occur.

We purchased the "Big Deal" from this company to provide us with landsc ape design for our house. They did just that as described in their deal. They were professional, knowledgeable and responsive during the whole process.

They have done a pretty good job so far.

We used Kingstowne to landscape our front and side lawn in 2010, and, in addition, signed up for their monthly lawn maintenance program. Unfortunately, much of our new lawn died as a result of a fungus attack. Although we realize that this is a natural event that is outside of anyone's control, we were upset that Kingstowne did not identify the problem when it first occurred (and probably could have been controlled) despite being a member of their lawn maintenance program, and did not get back to us for over a month after we identified the problem to them. After entering a complaint on Angie's list, we were contacted almost immediately by the president of the company who took the time to come to our house (on our schedule), meet with us, and assess the situation. The time and attention that we received, the recognition by Kingstowne that the situation could have been prevented by better monitoring on their part, and their willingness to try to remediate our lawn turned what felt like a bad experience into an "A" consumer experience. In my opinion their response typified the best of working with a local company that cares about its reputation and that cares about building long-term clients. In summary, while we had problems with responsiveness when the problem arose, responsiveness has improved dramatically and overall we have been quite pleased.

We're delighted with the results! Jodie's proposal took into account our desire for a new landing, a wider walkway, our preferred plantings, and the creation of space for an annual flower bed. Her crew completed the work as designed in a timely manner.

Their work has turned out very well, and I was happy customer.

Kingstowne Lawn and Landscaping came out to give us an estimate on a drainage/leveling problem in our front yard in late August 2011. I followed up the next week with them (9/6/11) because we did not receive the estimate. The woman told me that it was because of the holiday season and to expect it within a few days. We still have not received the estimate and are looking for another company now. UPDATE: Kingstowne Lawn immediately contacted us once they realized we had not received our estimate. They promptly emailed it and provided terrific customer service to ensure that we received what we needed to make a decision on the work.

They were a little expensive but their quality of work and reliability is worth it. I spent $2500 on that work. They were very responsive and very professional. They did a great job.
