Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape

The service was fine, they arrived at the time when they said they would arrive and the work was done to my satisfaction.

Kingstowne has always provided great service. I am the envy of the neighborhood.

I contacted Kingstowne for an estiamte for a paver patio. They were very professional, answered all my quesions and was very proactive. Provided a very nice design and options and worked with me to adjust the design and provide options for consideration with my budget. In the end we decided to go with another contractor but have no problem recommending them on their great customer service and professinalism.

My experience was fine. The young lady that came was professional. She followed up well with me after the appointment.

By telling him what I did not like I was communicating my preferences. I do not think that is what he heard. Eventually we focused on what was immediately needed. I explained that I wanted low maintenance plantings and that I don't like weeding. I was replacing some 5 ft. Otto Luyken Laurels that had died. Those tall bushes sat behind some azalea bushes that were about 3 ft. high. I mentioned that I like color in my yard year round. He suggested some nandinas which I know from experience are hardy so I agreed. I received the proposal in a few days but did not receive the CAD based conceptual layout/design until I asked for it three weeks later. After I returned the proposal, I began to worry that the nandinas were not going to be visible behind the azaleas. I called and spoke with a woman in the office and asked that they get the tallest plants that they could because of my fears. She assured me that she would pass the message on to Alan. From the time I sent in the contract, it took about three weeks for the plantings to occur. I happened to be home when it did and I knew at once that those plants were not going to work for me. I spoke to the foreman and called the office. Allan suggested that I go check out some taller nandinas at a nursery. He also told me to leave the plants there. That was a big mistake because fall is an extremely busy time of year for me. When I got to the nursery it was much too late to plant other bushes and too expensive. I am now left with nandinas that no one can see and too many weeds that I can see, just what I was afraid of. It is clear that Mr. Macbeth did not take the questionnaire or our conversation into account and I am very disappointed with the results.

This company is fantastic!!! There are not enough great things I could tell you. Fast, courteous and responsive. The lawn teams are respectful of my property and the administrative staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. I have been with Kingstowne for 2 yrs now and will continue to give them my business as well as refer them to other friends in the area! You can't go wrong with this company taking care of your outdoor needs! Highest caliber of service in the area. OUTSTANDING job Kingstowne!!

I had a great experience with the team from Kingstowne Lawn and Landscape. I called and was able to set up an appointment rather quickly. I was assigned a landscape designer, Alan Macbeth, who emailed me right away confirming the details of our reservation and asking questions about what we were looking to do. The estimate cost $50 but was well worth it. We were having water seeping into our basement from some drainage issues. Alan came out as scheduled and spent probably and hour walking me through the yard and providing me with a comprehensive list of things that could help solve our problem. Some of the items were small that we could fix ourselves and some were larger (tree removal, etc) that would need the assistance of a landscaping team. He was extremely patient with me and ensured that I understood everything he was proposing. He provided a detailed written estimate less than a day after our consultation. I emailed with him numerous times asking questions and seeking advice. He always responded in a timely manner and ensured I understood. In the end, I got numerous estimates for the work and went with a different company simply because of cost. Had money been no object I would have definitely gone with Kingstowne. I was highly impressed with the team and very grateful for their help!

Very disappointed. They came promptly and provided estimate with a written contract. They mowed my lawn 6 times. Managed to break my sprinkler head which they came and replaced. Only mowed in places where their mower can get to, leaving large patch of grass not mowed. Also did a poor job in trimming around the house. I complained twice about the mowing and trimming, but did not get response. When I wrote and terminated the contract, I was told if I want additional area mowed, I should have send in a change order. They claim trimming around the house was not in the contract.

I already hired Kingstown Lawn & Landscape last Spring to fertilize and kill weeds in my lawn. My lawn was a disaster and I knew it would probably take a couple of years to get it to a manageable condition. In the Fall of 2013 they aerated and seeded. This Spring I could already tell a huge difference. I've already cut my grass several times this year but my lawnmower is now broken and my grass needed cutting so I contacted them on a Tuesday, they came and evaluated for a price on Wednesday and I esigned the contract on Thursday. They came out on the following Wednesday and did an amazing job such that I will keep their service for a long time. I found them here on Angie's List.

It was very difficult to get response and followup at every stage of the process. Designing our landscape plan should have taken a month or two, but it took a year to actually get the plan from them. When the designer was here he spent a lot of time insulting our neighbors' driveways and landscaping, not very professional. We had planned to have them do all the work they planned, but the experience was so negative we decided not to use them. The designer also pitched some exciting plans when he was here which he said were all unworkable when we finally got the plan.

After moving we kept the service the previous owner was using., Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape. The office staff have been extremely responsive and helpful, even calling the previous owner to inquire about the change over. They are easy to get in touch with over email and their electronic contract system is very convenient. The actual lawn crew that comes to mow are professional, efficient and do an excellent job on our lawn. I'm impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

This was an Angie's List Bid Deal for landscape designs from Kingstowne. It was great to work with Kingstowne in planning the landscape designs for our entire property. Alan MacBeth, the designer, was great to work with. He was on time, listened to our wishes and needs, answered our numerous questions (both on the day he visited as well as numerous follow-up emails) and came up with some great designs. Alan is very easy to work with and he was very flexible and accomodating when we wanted some changes to our plans. I would highly recommend him and Kingstowne for your designing needs.

I asked for a quote to help em when a different lawn company dropped the ball. The contact there "mike Perez" was able to pick up the slack from another provider , put me on the schedule to be mowed and will inspect my lawn for extra height due to a different provider telling me to get someone else to do their work. Sent me a contract within minutes, which I could electronically sign, and told me they would help me. I'll update once I see the Work performed.

These guys have done my lawn service and fertilizing for many years. Never a problem. The crew is always courteous and polite. I have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood. I refer them every chance I get.

I use them for regular service. They do seven courses of treatment over the year. They seem to actually have had effect on my lawn and it seems greener and I had other services like over seeding and things like that and it seems to have taken so it seems like an effective product or service that they provide.

The estimate was very well done and was provided in a timely manner.

The cost was fairly expensive for everything that I wanted done. They were very knowledgeable, customer friendly, and my only issue was that I had a limited budget, and I wasn't able to utilize them on any of the project. Julie came out, took pictures, sat down with me, and walked me through the process, and she followed up after.

It went really well. They stayed within my price range.

The person came out and asked for a 'plot' drawing of our property. We did delay in sending by several months. When we did and contacted the company the person no longer worked there. The owner came out and offered us a 'blue print' of a landscape plan for $700. We don't think so, we just want what we paid for. The owner asked for a copy of the offer. We have not sent that document. He should have it on file.

Work went well. I was very satisfied with the project. However, I sold the house where the work was performed and moved out of state so I will not be using their services in the future.

Prompt, reasonable, professional. Ended up not going forward with the project for other reasons, but will likely contact them again if we do decide to do the work.

Alan Macbeth did a beautiful and charming design. The crew worked very hard and completed the job in record time despite some interruptions by rain that made it impossible to put down the polysand to seal the hardscape. Everyone was very pleasant and professional; they did not cut any corners. They coordinated seamlessly with the electrician who installed the wiring and outlets for the lighted fountain. We are completely satisfied and glad we went with Kingstowne. They were not inexpensive but it was worth it. And our dogs no longer track all that mud into the house. We wish we had done this much sooner!

KINGSTOWNE DID A GREAT JOB, FOR A GREAT PRICE! Mike Perez, Senior Account Manager, and his crew have been professional, responsive, and courteous throughout the process. They have replied quickly to all questions and concerns, including our last minute (the day of!) request to include an additional section for our neighbor. Mike gave clear instructions on getting the best germination results, and his advice and our follow-through have paid off well. Most recently, when we emailed Mike that there were two areas in the front yard that looked similar to spots left by female dog urine, he showed up that afternoon to dress the areas with new seed, left us with bags of additional seed, and inspected the lawn for germination results. VERY IMPRESSIVE! We also decided to contract with Kingstowne for their 10-treatment Lawn Care Program, which is saying something because we have always been do-it-yourselfers. The deciding factor was a very reasonable price, and the knowledge that the care would be provided on time, and with professional results. p.s. We had our same lawn aerated and overseeded two years ago by another company, and were charged almost twice what we just paid to Kingstowne for the same service. There are lots of lawn care companies out there, but Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape has earned our business with their great prices and attentive service!!

I have been using them continuously for about three or four months. When they first came, they had a big cleanup and they did a really nice job.

I have used Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape for many projects and they are wonderful. They built my patio on my townhouse many years ago and it looks like it is still brand new. I have also used them for landscaping in the front and back of my townhouse and been very pleased with the results. I plan on using Kingstowne for any future projects. The employees from Kingstowne have always been polite and professional, and their work has always been perfect.
