It went extremely well. Mike, the owner, is highly knowledgeable, skilled and efficient in all IT areas. He explains issues and is very helpful to me with understanding how things work. He uses layman's terms without getting too technical. He does great work. I use his services whenever I have IT/computer needs. I would definitely recommend JumpStart Computing to all my friends.

Mike arrive promptly and was not phased at all with my computer problem! He had it up and running within an hour. With a 20% discount for a first customer, the charge was only $63.20! I will recommend JumpStart Computing to all my friends!

After paying over $350.00 to install new computer, found out that 8 major e-mail file transfers were incomplete or missing. Called Mike 5 times, left messages and sent e-mail with list of problems with no response. Should have refunded us half the price since job was NOT complete. I would not use him for existing problems but is okay if you have a NEW computer to install and you don’t have to transfer any data.

As always with Mike, superior work. Have worked with other tech support firms, but he is always efficient, pleasant, and honest. No "scamming" from him, no outrageous product/service offers. I have used him numerous times, and he always bails me out painlessly.. I rely on him and trust his integrity.

Mike was professional and quick in setting up an appointment. He took his time to thoroughly check my computer. I feel so much better that my computer was checked by a professional. Mike came looked at it could not fix on site., but took home and repaired in approx 4 days.

Mr. Schwehr was extremely nice, very competent and understanding.

Mr Schwehr found many problems with fragments of programs that were present on our computer and after 2 1/2 hours of steady work he was able to have our computer up and running again. He was very helpful and very nice and we are extremely satisfied with his efforts.

Was fast and easy to set up an appointment. I told him the computer was acting like it had "clogged arteries" - very slow. He worked on it for a couple of hours removing programs etc. It now works much smoother and quicker. I'm happy with the result.

Mike arrived at my house on time, took the time to understand my software vproblems and then explained to me what steps he would take to correct/complete the process. Because my software is old, Mike ran into some major problems. He worked over three hours, but was unable to get things working correctly and asked if he could come back the next day. Before he left, he made sure my system was at least operational. The next day, he came back, found the problems and fixed them. Overall, I think Mike worked +4 hours. Having limited computer knowledge, I appreciated the fact that he didn't "talk down to me". He was very clear in his explanations and made sure I understood what was happening. I was very pleased with his fee. He gave me some great advice on future computer purchases. Mike was professional, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. You could tell he really enjoyed the challenges of solving computer problems. I'll use Mike again for future computer problems and would recommend him to friends.

Michael came at the appointed time, studied the problem, and fixed it. He provided explanations on how he fixed the situations. The day after the repair Mike emailed us to see if all was well and if we needed any more help.

Mike arrived right on time, and was very polite, sociable and articulate about what he was doing and about his actions and advice. I plan to have him back to help reconfigure my set up, and to help with new equipment. I will recommend him to others without hesitation.

My computer would not turn on so I called Mike. I described the problem to him over the phone and, after a few questions, he determined the most likely culprit was the power supply. He arrived promptly with a power supply in hand but the connections did not fit my computer. So he went to Best Buy to buy one that did. I was afraid he was going to charge me for his time back and forth but, to my surprise, he did not. He replaced the power supply and my computer is back up and running again. I was very happy with Mike's service and would not hesitate to use him again.

.I called Mike for the earliest appt that he was available because I am working on my doctorate and have strict schedules for my chapters. He spoke to me over the phone and suggested that I try a few simple solutions so that I would save the money from a home visit. I have used Mike's computer services for 4 years now and he has NEVER been wrong with his computer diagnosis. He has ALWAYS come on time and calls me 15 minutes before his arrival to allow me time to climb the stairs up to the front door (I am disabled). He offers me possible solutions to save me money and I really appreciate that because I am on disability. He is always nice, calm and reassuring. He ALWAYS fixes the computer problem perfectly and is very conscious to keep the bill as low as possible. He ALWAYS answers my questions and never makes me feel "dumb" or that my problems are small. He routinely scans my computer for viruses and problems at each visit. I have never called him back because he always provides an "excellent job". I will keep him as my "computer guy" for as long as I leave in this area.

Michael is TERRIFIC! He helped us shop for the right computer, assisted with specifications, alternatives, upgrades, new bells and whistles. Once the PC was purchased, he set it up, and most importantly, showed me how to use it. Windows 8 was totally new to me, and he went over it step by step. He is also available for questions almost anytime, he gets back to you promptly, and soon I'm going to be using him again to relocate all my stuff to a new office. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

The service turned out well. They are very responsive and straight forward with the work that they can and cannot provide. They have been very professional any time that I have worked with them.

Michael came right on time and immediately set to work on a computer that we had been unable to use for a couple of weeks due to it freezing and shutting down. A friend of ours who works in the computer field had tried to correct our problem with minimal success. Michael used an anti-malware program (among other things) and found a root virus in our system. He got rid of that and removed other potentially dangerous programs, along with installing Windows updates. We also had an issue with the fan constantly running, which he corrected by cleaning. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and our computer is running like new. I highly recommend JumpStart Computing and will call him immediately if we have any issues in the future. No more asking "computer literate" friends for their help.
