I got an estimate and home visit on the same day I called to ask for a new Water Heater.

It was not possible to do it in the first visit, but went very good and fixed during the second appointment.

Terrible. Flood charges $99 for the service call. Technicians try to sell you add on items to increase the overall bill. Find out after the fact the add on would not have even done what the technician represented. Technician actually loosened the condensation pipe so a leak started after they left. Flood would not stand by their work and blamed the leak on something else that they wanted another $99 to come estimate the repair. Never actually got an estimate even after $99 as they wanted more $$ for more diagnostics to do the estimate. No thank you. Called another company for an estimate for which I did not have to pay for and had them do the work.

Well, especially because their senior HVAC person came.

All went well. I recommend and will use John C. Flood again.

It went very well. Tracy Hillie was the technician, and he managed to complete the job in one day. He had some help with someone who hauled away the old unit. Otherwise, he worked non stop all day. Excellent I have been a client of JC Flood since 2004, which entailed the installation of a new HVAC Unit. I received their namer from a colleague. I am so grateful to have gone with this company. All members of the JC Community are professional,polite, knowledgeable and provide suggestions based on "preventive" maintenance and in the best interest of the client. The JC Community is one of integrity !!!

The whole experience was wonderful. I got a call to schedule a service call in less than 10 minutes after I submitted an online request form, and the service person arrived at my home right on time. The company had excellent communication with me, and the quality of the work was exemplary.

It is a big job when they do that. There is an outside unit and an air handler inside-- the whole works. It takes all day. There are so many different types of systems it is hard to rate price. I got a high efficiency system. I could have gone cheaper, but I would not have gone for the state of the art system. I think I got a very fair price because the manufacturer was running a promotion at the time which gave me quite a lot of money off. I would rather spend the money up front and have no problems for another ten years or so. The punctuality was very good. On the day of installation they said they would be here at 8 o'clock in the morning. At 7:30 they started ringing my doorbell. I wasn't quite ready for them at that hour. They were very good about that. The work takes about 8 hours. It isn't just putting hardware in place. You have to remove the old refrigerant and recover that. Then you have to flush the new system several times to remove all of the oxygen from it. It takes time. Then you have to get all of the components to talk to each other. It is a big job. It takes about 8 hours. They are my go to company for this. I used them for many years.

Plumber Richard Cloud was the best. Very patient in locating source of leak. Replaced drain pipe from kitchen sink all the way down to the basement so as not to have any more problems with this drain pipe (this was the third leak on it). Replaced a baseboard and shelf under the sink that had to be removed to get to the pipe (he fixed it better than it was before). He noticed that the laundry sink was draining slowly, so I had him snake that, and it is working better than it has in years! He also replaced the old drain trap on that sink, and everything is working great. I have had John C. Flood come out to my house on numerous occasions for various plumbing issues (old house, old plumbing), and each time they were extremely professional and competent and fixed the problems right the first time. This particular time with Richard Cloud, he didn't even make a mess, and he did a lot of work. This was really surprising to me, as I usually have to clean up for awhile after a plumbing has been out in the past. Overall, this was another great experience from John C. Flood. They also provide a very fair price for their services. No price gouging in my experience with them.

Dave C. arrived on time, checked my a/c system and replaced my filter (254.00) He provided me with recommendations and was very friendly. I signed up for a Gold Plan ($195.00/year).

Richard arrived on time and in a few minutes he fixed the problem with a gasket kit. Richard was friendly and did a great job. I will certainly call John C. Flood, Inc. of VA again.

Mr. Cloud installed the toilet about one year ago. He cleared the line and the toilet functions properly again.

As expected. HVAC Technician David came out and expertly diagnose the problem. Our unit (one of our rental properties) is back online. Long story short John Flood company has done what Michael and sons, Magnolia, AJ Mechanical services (James Richardson) has NOT been able to do.. get our unit 100%. The others played the 'guessing' game to diagnose while Flood properly corrected every problem we had (wiring, incorrect parts, etc). In the end, we singed a maintenance agreement to keep them as our on-call service company.

The additional work--change toilet and refit heating system- has been accomplished calmly professionally and smoothly. Flood representatives will be back next week for another job to mitigate a leak in the foundation where the water supply pipe was replaced by the city.

The workers were on time, informed us about each step, and completed the day's work as planned.

As promised, I received a courtesy phone call to let me know the technician was on his way, which gave me plenty of time to get home to meet them. The technician was very courtesy and professional and had my plumbing issue resolved a lot sooner than I was expecting given the nature of the problem. I was also impressed by how tech-enabled they were. I was able to pay and get my invoice emailed to me before they left, which being paper-free is good for the environment.

David was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable as always!

The service is always great, the technicians are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I know that I can count on good service for a fair price. They send an email when the technician is on the way with a photo of the technician so you know who will be in your house...this is a great addition to already wonderful service

The representative came out the same day and the work was set up for the next day. The technician, Michael, arrived promptly, was very helpful explaining everything to me and possible problems along the way. He worked extremely efficiently with his partner and finished all the pipe work in one day. I understand that it was a difficult job because of where the pipes had to come through. A new water line and shutoff valve was attached to the front of the house and the old one capped off. ; We were extremely happy with how it went. The pipe worked looked beautiful and we didn't lose our water overnight because of how efficiently they worked.
