Joe guided my fiance through his first home purchase, a significant renovation project in an up-and-coming neighborhood in Alexandria, and later through our first home purchase together, a large parcel of land in Lovettsville that we planned to build on. We can't imagine going through this process with anyone else. Joe did so much background work to make sure he understood the market, pulling comparisons and emailing contacts, going out of his way to make sure we had all possible details. He worked gracefully through tons of data to make sure were making a smart investment. He traveled through thick NOVA traffic to make sure we were able to see houses on short-notice. He is dedicated to his work, proactive, positive and thorough. We have recommended him to many friends and family. Joe helped my wife and I purchase our first house in 2008 as well as providing guidance on our 2011 addition so that we would not over-build for the area. In 2013 we decided to rent our current house out as well as purchasing our second home. Joe was able to help with us with everything and made everything seemless. We were both very excited about the second home but according to Joe's research, it was over-priced for the area. He helped us negotiate a great deal on the house. We are now currently looking at buying an investment property to flip in which Joe is helping us again. He has great insight in all of this. He understands the dynamics of many of the neighborhoods so that he can help us figure out where we can make a decent profit on a house. Joe was always very flexible with us working around our hectic schedules. It really made the house search an easy process.

Joe is a great communicator and negotiator. Prior to purchase in May 2013 he frequently sent out emails of condos for sale that fit our search criteria over a 2-year period. When this beautiful condo came on the market, he took us over, we loved it and he put in our offer immediately. He walked us through all the paperwork and hoops involved in purchasing a condo, made excellent suggestions, and negotiated hard with the seller/seller's agent so that our needs were met (along with the seller). He stood tough on issues we cared about and took us all the way through closing/settlement. He continues to stay in touch even after the sale, he is very friendly, professional, and efficient. We would recommend him to anyone who wants to buy or sell real estate. His boss Casey O'Neill is also friendly and keeps in touch as well. We recommend Joe and Casey from ReMax to our friends and neighbors as excellent service providers in real estate.
