The 2-man crew spoke limited English and were unable to read the English instructions for constructing the shed. No matter - they ignored the instructions and tried to put things together based on guesswork. When I realized what they were doing and how they were fouling up (15 min into the job) I went down and had to oversee their actions to ensure the shed was put together properly. Nearly 3 hours later, the job was finished although it took far too much of my time and effort to ensure it was done properly. Not what I expected to happen when I hired this contractor. When Fernando called later that day to see how things went with his crew, I expressed my displeasure over having to manage their efforts. He offered to make it right by sending me a refund check for $100. Two weeks later, I have yet to receive this refund -- and don't expect to ever see it. Needless to say, I will not use this contractor again and would urge others not to do so.
